Watching this again, after a couple of beers and it still makes me laugh, game within a game, love it, and a great review at the same time, keep going boys, always go straight to Marks reviews of clubs as you always get a straight, honest opinion.
Proof positive that Matt should do more club reviews he shows the true limits of a golf club. Another great review, never knowingly boring, bring the fun.
I purchased a few of these Mark. I have the 3,4,5 and 6 . Awesome. I love their adjustability and the way they feel. Great hybrids. In my opinion they are the one's to beat for 2019. Don't think anyone will. I really enjoy using the # 6 30 degree one. I love arching the ball up high and having it land on green like that. Works very nicely. I do like the look of the turbulators myself. Many don't but I agree. They frame it all up nicely. Best wishes, Spider Dubiel
My favourite review for a long time on all of YT =) Great job Mark & Coach!! Bought this last week in 17 degrees, it's a anmial when draging it down to 15.5 in loft, new driving iron from tee + it was so easy to hit of the ground(even on unforgiving softer mat that punishes fats more), just had to add a little bit of launch and it was so so so easy to hit. Love the new flat options as well :)
I’m seeing this as a 2H lofted down to replace a 3 wood that I can barely make contact with. I play 3-5H in the G400 with great results so this will be on the list.
I went with the 410 hybrid over the 400 simply for the flat lie option. I feel like I can keep it from overdrawing a little better. I guess we’ll see on the course this year!
Dropped a G410 4-hybrid in the bag a month ago (it usurped my 4i). Had to knock it down 1deg as was popping up a bit, but it is now a contender for my favorite club. Versatility, ease of use and performance in one package is pretty mind-blowing....might even need to get the 2-hybrid and retire my 5W.....
you have just shown exactly what I have found. Changeable necks will create more problems for us handicap golfers. I was fitted for a G400 driver last year and the fitter felt that 10.5 dropped to 9.5 was the one for me but it looked wrong as I put it behind the ball when testing and on the course. I eventually had a 9 deg set to 9 as it looked better to my eye and gave similar numbers. A year on , and I am hitting it better than i did in the original testing so i feel that confidence has a lot to add when you look down on the ball. Seems to me that manufacturers would do better to offer adjustable lofts but the club has to sit neutral after that adjustment.
I’ve got the whole set of the PINH G410 except the hybrid club. Will be purchasing it for XMAS. CANT WAIT. Our weather is starting to improve here in Melbourne Australia today was a cool 33 degrees. Bring on SUMMER.
Had G400 hybrid, 410 has less offset, sound and feel amazinger than 400, already pleased I went to the 410 17° and 19°!!! Also bought 410's because I can dial in the loft!
Matt and Mark Lully-gagging through another review... they giggle as they plot along .. and in there self amusement they actually accomplish another effective review. Cheers! #theresnomagic
Love a hybrid review 😉. Recently swapped my 4 and 2 iron for a 19 and 23 hybrid off the back of your advice.... and surprisingly it works! You should be told us sooner.
I hit the hybrid for the first time today and it was the first ping hybrid I've ever hit and I was absolutely crushing it just lovely I carried it 235-245 every swing i even had about five or six major miss hits with it and still carried 220-225 and I'm a bit like coach where miss hits are wild #bombballcentral it really was an impressive club and I will be carrying out with some further tests hopefully on course against my Titleist 915 however I live in Reno Nevada and there's about a foot of snow on the ground about now keep up the great work braaahhh
Mark, thanks for the reviews. The g410 line has "flat" lie options. Could you possibly show the driver and hybrid in a video demonstrating how that flatter lie (56.5 degrees on the g410 plus) can make a difference. The higher lofted hybrids would show even more movement. thanks, eric hanson former PGA professional from across the pond, but originally from Lakenheath
Interesting point about the loft adjustments. Currently looking at replacing 18* & 23* hybrids with G410. Maybe 17* (2H) knocked down with 22* (4H) rather than 22* and 19* given gap in lofts are quite close.
I bought a ping 7 wood back in October for cheap strictly because it had the adjustable hosel and I’m a little bummed because i wanted a 3 hybrid but the g400 hybrids didn’t have the adjustable hosel. Good to know ping added this to their new line just wish I had waited haha.
Fun review and happy to see Coach take lots of swings! I actually just enjoyed hearing you talk about what you look for in a hybrid. I need a rinkie so I like the info. Wondered how you were going to fill 26 minutes! Thanks as always!
Good review Mark. However, although I get the logic of positioning the C of G in a position to get the desired result. Unless there is some adjustability, ie two ports and disimilar weights, then the effect of a single fixed position weight could be built into the head construction. It couldn't surely be a marketing tool to please those who like the bells and whistles, could it?
Mark, the trick to get the head off that the ping guy showed me back in the day when I got fitted for my G25 was to gently bang the grip end of the club on the ground gradually harder and harder until it pops loose. Probably less risky than just walking the head on the mat 😂
I seem to recall one of the new Ping features this year in their drivers, woods, and hybrids is also a setting that will let you flatten the lie. I could see if you flatten the lie, it might affect the numbers slightly. But I agree that once everything is set, then you wouldn't want to change anything unless you made changes to your swing.
Hi Mark. I imagine you have considered this but cannot see a public comment: Ping 3wood numbers (think I heard 14.5*?) Versus Ping 19*hybrid ! ... and therefore comparison v 17*hybrid (poss even at 15.5*) - Peak, Descent, Distance - are 3 woods becoming victim of hybrid engineering? Thanks. Neil.
I don’t change the neck often on hybrids but some companies don’t offer 21 degree. So I’ll buy the 22 and change it to 21. The Ping G didn’t offer changeable neck and that’s what led me to buy the 816 H1.
Have you compared 19 deg hybrids to 18 deg fairways before? Interested in your thoughts. I play a 18 deg fairway instead of a 3 wood and jump straight to 24 hybrid as I found a 19 hybrid hard to hit.
Great guys. Always laugh my ass off at your banter. Looking for hybrids. I guess I just need to go with Ping. Don't like the shark fins...but if it works play it. Was just fitted for i210 irons, just got a Ping putter. Oh well....Ping bag I guess. Keep up the great work!!
What do you use for tees? As someone who has their own simulator I'd like to know what others are using. I typically use water bottle caps, they work wonders haha! Thanks Mark, great video as usual!
Hey Mark, I am saving up for a set of One length irons for my Dad who has a bad back and bending over is harder for him, but golf is what we like to do together. If possible can you do a comparison of the long irons of the same brand between the one length and variable length.
You have to do a video when Matt gets his "Power" hybrid in... Compare Lumpy and his Rinks to the corresponding club.. Which is better Mathew?? Hybrid or Iron?? But you have to make him try different shots Mark. Draws and Fades... Would make an interesting video.. When are you going to convert RayMondo????
I do buy my hybrids when they have changeable necks because it helps my gapping. I currently have a 5 wood down to 16 degrees and a hybrid on 20 degrees
I played one for years, loved it, then I replaced it with another hybrid, it worked well too but I must admit, I would go back to the 7 wood happily. Then again, I play Cobra woods so you can't go wrong, especially for us seniors.
I still game the g30 w/o turbulator nonsense, so clean. This 410 is fugly but love coach’s jacket...can he do a review of that instead? 😬 We really need turds on a hybrid??
Really wish you would have talked about the unique hybrid feature ping offered about how you have the option to flatten the lie. And then maybe taken a few swings in that position to compare..
Not bothered about the review of that particular club {Really like the hybrids I've got at the moment) but the info in general on custom fitting and the effects of playing with the adjustments was really good.
I would love to see you put Coach under pressure and ask him if he’d play clubs that would give him the best numbers over his beloved Callaways 😂🙈 PS I understand Callaway would probably give him as good numbers as most, if he had more time to practice/wanted to practice more :) Just want to make the lovely boy nervous
Having a custom fit for a pair of these on Saturday. My current rinky and power are different brands with very different shafts and whilst I can hit both clubs well I find that during a round I’m usually hitting one well and the other terribly and vice versa. I want to get some consistency in the feels, is this a thing or am I just looking for an excuse to buys shiny new clubs?
I don't hear you comment on (standard) shaft length? So the standard length fitted from the manufacturer. Why is that? Personally I see a trend that manufacturers are offer clubs with longer shafts and then claim more distance, which is obvious but doesn't reflect the technology in the head of the club.... Hope that makes sense
Those turbulators are aggressive! I don’t think I’d like those on the hybrid. I just picked up a G25 hybrid and am loving it. Kicked the old nike vrs hybrid out the bag. Ping is just good 👍🏻
Got a G400 19* (3) in summer, need a 22* (4) next to fill a gap so if you’re happy with your Rinky & Power and Coach gets his Callaways give me a shout and I’ll take it off your hands 👍🔥🏌️♂️
To release the head, hold the club vertical with the grip six inches off the ground, let the shaft slip through your fingers. When the grip hits the ground, the head will release. Brah.
I just watched this 3 times in a row, gonna watch every hybrid review x 3 and never watch another driver review. I'm expecting to take 3 shots off my H/C by April........if ONLY I'd known this stuff 10 years ago, I'd be a pro!
Anyone got any thoughts on new g410 hybrids and fairway (maybe sft 3 wood) vs new f9 fairway and hybrids? I bought some second hand f8 hybrids and fairway and love them. But they are pretty bashed up. So thinking of trading up and I hear good things about both the g410 and f9. Just wondered if anyone had any feedback or criticism of either before I go testing? Much appreciated.
coach could master a hybrid in an hour or so of just messing about with one, hitting different type shots to different distances, like he would a wedge.

Another great review, never knowingly boring, bring the fun.
Matt is priceless. He hits one 31 yards left, then 38 yards right, and finally flags one. Brilliant Bruh! #GolfisFun!
Coach is a natural artilleryman!!!
Mark’s finicky, obsessive take on things is pure gold and rewards attentive listening. His buddies are a perfect foil.
It's good having Coach doing these reviews. I now know how far left and right a club will go within two swings. How good is this man.
YES YES YES!!! Been waiting for this video. Tested the club this past weekend and fell in love with it.

Love Ping hybrids, beautifully simple!
I’m seeing this as a 2H lofted down to replace a 3 wood that I can barely make contact with. I play 3-5H in the G400 with great results so this will be on the list.
Should be 20.5 instead of 21.5 because you can adjust it 1.5 higher or lower! Great video! Keep them coming!
I went with the 410 hybrid over the 400 simply for the flat lie option. I feel like I can keep it from overdrawing a little better. I guess we’ll see on the course this year!
Great video. I still love my g30. Goes the right distance which is all I want from a hybrid.
Dropped a G410 4-hybrid in the bag a month ago (it usurped my 4i). Had to knock it down 1deg as was popping up a bit, but it is now a contender for my favorite club. Great review Mark on one of the best clubs available - Ping metals
Great vlog both! Can’t beat a ping hybrid 👌🏼
Played a short hilly course this weekend and seriously though about finally trying a hybrid!
Looks good - would be a nice addition and match in with my G400 driver. Looking at that weight lifting poster gives "get up Dan" a whole new meaning!
Lovely club, love my hybrid, one the best but underrated clubs you can have in the bag.
Agree
Interesting point about the loft adjustments. Currently looking at replacing 18* & 23* hybrids with G410. Maybe 17* (2H) knocked down with 22* (4H) rather than 22* and 19* given gap in lofts are quite close.

That is a good looking hybrid. Love my power hybrid.
Fun review and happy to see Coach take lots of swings! I actually just enjoyed hearing you talk about what you look for in a hybrid. I need a rinkie so I like the info. Wondered how you were going to fill 26 minutes! Thanks as always!
Get the rules in writing first coach because they could be subject to change.
It's a tempter this one... Looks good... More Friendly looking can't be a bad thing at 200 yards out
The green on your simulator is set for Augusta National speeds. Linoleum is slower
Love these video. I'm really considering going for a fitting in one. Keep up the good work bruh
Good review Mark. However, although I get the logic of positioning the C of G in a position to get the desired result. Great review.
Please do callaway apex 2019 hybrid aswell 🙏
Already done coming soon 👍👍
@@MarkCrossfield thank you

I am here to bump up the hybrid review view counts ;) #HybridsAreImportantToo #DriversGetAlltheLove
I don’t change the neck often on hybrids but some companies don’t offer 21 degree. So I’ll buy the 22 and change it to 21. The Ping G didn’t offer changeable neck and that’s what led me to buy the 816 H1.
more testing Lockey that was fun........
This was a great 3 1/2 minute review.. spread out over 26 minutes.
Have you compared 19 deg hybrids to 18 deg fairways before? Interested in your thoughts. I play a 18 deg fairway instead of a 3 wood and jump straight to 24 hybrid as I found a 19 hybrid hard to hit.

Looking for hybrids. I guess I just need to go with Ping. Don't like the shark fins...but if it works play it.
Was just fitted for i210 irons, just got a Ping putter. Oh well....Ping bag I guess.
Keep up the great work!!
Looks are nice and seems to have good numbers but at $359 Canadian.. my 816 H1’s will be just fine again this season.
What do you use for tees? As someone who has their own simulator I'd like to know what others are using. I typically use water bottle caps, they work wonders haha! Thanks Mark, great video as usual!
Great review looking to update my hybrids this season will you be doing any head to head hybrid reviews?
When was the last time a club surprised/really impressed you mark?
Evnroll putters have impressed me in recent years, seems to be a genuine innovation
Cornwall1888 what innovation? The grooveS? If that’s what you’re talking about, Ping has had that for years now
Hey Mark, I am saving up for a set of One length irons for my Dad who has a bad back and bending over is harder for him, but golf is what we like to do together. If possible can you do a comparison of the long irons of the same brand between the one length and variable length.
The ping g410 can be set up to 3 degrees flat as well as loft stops it looking closed at address

God, you guys drone on forever
No drones were used in this review it was indoors 👍
I see the guitars hanging. Whose the Clapton in the group ? You should do a vid ?
I do buy my hybrids when they have changeable necks because it helps my gapping. I currently have a 5 wood down to 16 degrees and a hybrid on 20 degrees
No 3wood
Nice looking club from underneath , horiable from the top i think mat is right too big to work the ball great review lads 😉
Oh Matt take the bloody win for the army mate.
Do people still use 7 wood? I seen a few senior tour guys use them
I've got one in my bag
I played one for years, loved it, then I replaced it with another hybrid, it worked well too but I must admit, I would go back to the 7 wood happily. Then again, I play Cobra woods so you can't go wrong, especially for us seniors.
I picked up a Ping i400 9 wood...24 degrees loft. I really like it; it gets up in a hurry. The stock shaft is terrific.
I know this is a old video, but I am wondering how does this compare to the marvick hybrid?
I still game the g30 w/o turbulator nonsense, so clean. This 410 is fugly but love coach’s jacket...can he do a review of that instead? 😬 We really need turds on a hybrid??
Really wish you would have talked about the unique hybrid feature ping offered about how you have the option to flatten the lie. And then maybe taken a few swings in that position to compare..
How do you replace the removable weight ? I got a 16 gram weight. What is the torque setting ?
Not bothered about the review of that particular club {Really like the hybrids I've got at the moment) but the info in general on custom fitting and the effects of playing with the adjustments was really good.
Is that GetUpDan smashing the weights on the poster in the background??
what happened to the original Rinks? Was it in a giveaway and I missed it??
I would love to see you put Coach under pressure and ask him if he’d play clubs that would give him the best numbers over his beloved Callaways 😂🙈 PS I understand Callaway would probably give him as good numbers as most, if he had more time to practice/wanted to practice more :) Just want to make the lovely boy nervous

I think lockey would like that older Adams hybrid
viperr007 .. who wouldn’t, those Adams hybrids were a bag buddy for years with even the best of players.. cracking hybrids!
Matt's worried that Callaway is watching
I have this same club in the Ping Tour 85 X-stiff shaft. Loves to fade
You should use the pythagorean theorem to get the distance from the hole. Works every time.
The teeth look very cool. Love the stealth “Matt” finish lol. Mark, are you and Coach warmed up, or hitting cold? Silly question I know, just curious.
Someone needs to teach these muppets the Pythagorean Theorem! 🙄😂
I don't hear you comment on (standard) shaft length? So the standard length fitted from the manufacturer. Why is that?

Would like to see a 19 lofted up Vs 22 lofted down. Does the change in lie angle actually make a real difference.
The lie angle stays the same the face opens and closes depending on if you are adding or subtracting loft
Rink my dinks!!! Love seeing the Muppets do these reviews together. Gives kind of a bigger picture of what is going on with these clubs.
Doesnt the new adjustable neck allow for lie adjustment too?
Yes you can go flatter with it
Got a G400 19* (3) in summer, need a 22* (4) next to fill a gap so if you’re happy with your Rinky & Power and Coach gets his Callaways give me a shout and I’ll take it off your hands 👍🔥🏌️♂️
How do the 410s compare to the 400s?
To release the head, hold the club vertical with the grip six inches off the ground, let the shaft slip through your fingers. When the grip hits the ground, the head will release. Brah.
Is that Dan on that poster in the background weight lifting??
Yep 👍 😂😂
Mark Crossfield Thats funny 😂
Haha I know. Stay tuned it crops up in the next few videos 😂😂😂🙈🙈
changeable necks are good for 2nd hand purchasing
Ps. If I heard right and Marks 1st shot was 8 long and 13.6 left then Lockey won round one by 0.1. C = (Root(A Squared X B Squared))
I just watched this 3 times in a row, gonna watch every hybrid review x 3 and never watch another driver review. I'm expecting to take 3 shots off my H/C by April........if ONLY I'd known this stuff 10 years ago, I'd be a pro!

coach could master a hybrid in an hour or so of just messing about with one, hitting different type shots to different distances, like he would a wedge.
Longest hybrid review ever, waiting for Matt to flag one...!
Why call it a rinky or lumpy ?
You got the green set on concrete mode.
I like ping in hybrids, They just don't fit my eye. I may give this one a go if it has no offset.
19* + 1.5* = 20.5*
Nobody likes doing math on camera.
Haha 👍
Amazed you didn’t mention that the adjustment now offers a flat lie .. great club and fun review .. 🏌️⛳️🏌️🍻
Not watching this. i'll wait for the long distance driver review
Mark to break the hosel just firmly tap the butt of the club on the ground.
Ooop first viewer, that's awkward :/
Lie setting? Seems it fits right in to the discussion. Needs addendum vid
Mark-I like your videos but my God this is painful. Please just review the golf club. That's why we are here.
Its still weird to me hearing Coache's "inside voice".
