- This version has a corrected spreadsheet. Big thanks to @sleepymornings for catching my mistake and letting me know!!
Which bullet is best for running in a revolver and carbine rifle combo?? 1 of several handload bullets that I'll be doing similar testing with over the next several weeks.
A look at velocity, expansion, weight retention and penetration in the Clear Ballistics 10% ballistic gel block with 5 different barrel lengths!
Spreadsheet with data and pics near the end of the video!

Great test. Excellent bullet performance over a wide range of velocity without bullet disintegration but also always showing expansion.
Really appreciate these series you’ve been doing!
Nice work, and interesting results.
I like the .38 and your tests are very helpful!
Heck yeah the ole THIRTY EIGHT!
Is there a reason this was released twice?
@@garrettschienschang7898 yes, my penetration depths in my spreadsheet were for the 125gr XTP.🤦🏼♂️
I pulled the old version down and uploaded it again with the corrected data. 😂
@@kentuckyrangetime all good. Glad you fixed it.
@@kentuckyrangetime I did not notice that, but I did notice your expansion percentages were wrong. They should range from 21 to 54%. Darn spreadsheets ;) (which do add a lot to your videos) Given how long my comment on the previous video was, I left that part out as my only concession to brevity.
@@PCUser-m4u I’ll check that formula out too. It was late last night when I copied that that over from the .357 spreadsheet. I should’ve double checked everything. Thanks for letting me know about it. 😉
