The first brass elbow that you showed from Lowe's works. You just need to push really hard to snap it on. The dishwasher's nylon ring bends a little and it goes right on. I don't have a Home Depot here so my Saturday afternoon hardware store options are limited. Good video.
Great video amigo!! I just bought a new dishwasher unit last night, install will be tonight. I’m gonna become Superman to my wife after the install thanks to you.
The first brass elbow that you showed from Lowe's works. You just need to throw away that nylon nut that came with dishwasher and use brass nut that came with fitting from Lowes/
Okay I bought one and I just used the brass fitting instead of the plastic one because I thought it would be fine but I have been told to put the nylon one on do I not need to?
Great video, i am annoyed there are zero installation instructions in the Samsung box. There is no warning to buy extra needed parts. Your video helped. Mine is a net new dishwasher so more video on how the water lines worked would be good. Ps. I liked the music.
Love how electrical cables are long enough in this video to be able to connect everything with the dishwasher out and tilted sideways. Of course Im here upside down trying to fit the cables through the little junction box hole and I am just about to snap grab a hammer and smash this thing to pieces and rip that short power cord out the wall. FML
The space looks similar to mine with new tile installation AFTER a remodel, no big deal (steps down to concrete). I just like this video because it gives me confidence when I supervise the installation of my new dishwasher this week.
Does the power cord need to run through the relief channel on the underside, or can it run beside the dishwasher and come in from the side? My cord is too short to go in from the back, and come out the front. I'm wondering if I'll need to splice a longer line or can just come in through the side near the front
Don't splice it, that's not good to do. Especially when next to water. Just grab a new cord that is at least 14/2 AWG and run it in the channel. It's not worth the chance of it rubbing on something. Dishwashers vibrate a lot and over time wires can rub through rather easily. Especially at the connections in the box in the dishwasher, be sure to use a 1/2" box connector. That edge is sharp!
it is an insulation blanket. It is not packing material. It's actually a necessary part to ensure the dishwasher performs its best. The insulation keeps in heat and also helps to reduce noise. Once the dishwasher is installed, the insulation blanket should no longer be visible and you can forget all about it.
Just a suggestion: When measuring between top and bottom of the front entry, measure from the concrete floor, not the tile, otherwise the tile, which is about 1/4 thick, will give you a false measurement. Besides, the dish washer will set on the concrete, and not on the tiles.
It looks like you put Teflon tape on a straight thread fitting that seals through a rubber washer. I suppose it wouldn't hurt as long as the tape isn't under the sealing washer.
The water inlet on the side does not stop pouring water without the dishwasher being on, if you could help 🤦♀️ I don't know if it is a bad installation
Wish I could see the mounting bracket tabs installed on your video. The brackets that Samsung gives with the machine DO NOT stay in the square holes and constantly fall out -- so I'll need to order a different bracket like the ones you used. Another Samsung "FAIL" - $1,000 dishwasher and crappy easily bent bracket mount piece that came with it and does not hold. UGH -- Maybe I'll find another video like yours that shows the bracket you used. Thanks so much -- your video gave me enough clues to know to buy online a bracket that will work.
Okay, I have a new Samsung dishwasher but our set up does not go to sink. All connections-water supply, electric and drain come from the floor underneath. This dishwasher has very little to none, space underneath for the drain hose, water line, or wires because of a bottom panel. What can I do with this problem?
Есть вопрос. У меня такая же посудомойка как у Вас. Смущает свисающая резина внизу. Как это можно исправить? Кажется, что там не хватает какой-то панельки чтобы это все закрыть.
Same question in English: I have the same dishwasher. Confused about dangling rubber at the bottom. How can this be fixed? It seems like I need a panel to close it. Any thoughts?
I watched this to clarify how to adjust rear legs (they cannot be reached from the front once dishwasher is in place). You do not show or even mention leveling the dishwasher though.

I am confident now to buy the same dishwasher and install it myself! Thank you!

This was also me four hours ago, what a headache
I have a smaller one, I'm thinking about installing it myself. I'm just curious, is it mandatory to attach it to the kitchen counter?
Those screws are short, you use those and not 1 in. sheetrock screws. Yes, you have to secure it or it will become wobbly.

Finally, someone who used the provided plastic nut on the supply line! Nice job
Thank you for watching!
He gets credit for finding an elbow you can take the brass connection off of and put the plastic on.
Thank you very helpful..🇨🇦

You did show the connecting of the drain hose. Where did you connect it?
Hey, mine has a gray rag. Or a piece of fabric. Did you know what to do with them? Please help.

Super,super, super ❤️ 👌 my favorite master 🙌 👌 ❤ ♥ 👍 😀 🙌 👌 ❤
Irina, Thank you so much!
hello, can u provide the link for the parts that you purchased to install the dishwasher eg: the connectors from Lowes.

It looks like you put Teflon tape on a straight thread fitting that seals through a rubber washer. I suppose it wouldn't hurt as long as the tape isn't under the sealing washer.
He also applied it in the wrong direction for right-hand threads but who's counting
Does the elbow need to be purchased or was that just something extra you got?
I purchase them separately
The water inlet on the side does not stop pouring water without the dishwasher being on, if you could help 🤦♀️ I don't know if it is a bad installation
You don't need teflon tape there. In fact that connection will not seal properly with the tape.
Great video
Thanks!
well done, thank you.
Thanks for watching!
You are awesome dude, make it look easy 👍
Thanks 👍
where did you get the protective sticker that you put under the counter top?
it comes with this dishwasher
This was very helpful, thank you
Glad it was helpful!
You mentioned it needs to be leveled but you didn’t include the how to. Otherwise this was insanely helpful!
Actually it's not leveling, it's called checking it for plumb. People giving advice and don't know the difference between the two.
what about the AIRGAP?
Nice work.
Thanks!
where do i install the side screws. the screws provided are too short and thing. It fell right through
are you asking about screws that attach a dishwasher to the countertop?
@@CreativeProcessDIY no I’m talking about the two screws that go on the side.

you have to work with what you have....
I agree with pr872. The only thing I wanted to see was how to level it which you didnt show.
you probably scrolled some parts of my video. I did show how to level it!
Есть вопрос. У меня такая же посудомойка как у Вас. Смущает свисающая резина внизу. Как это можно исправить? Кажется, что там не хватает какой-то панельки чтобы это все закрыть.
This video is in English.....
Same question in English: I have the same dishwasher. Confused about dangling rubber at the bottom. How can this be fixed? It seems like I need a panel to close it. Any thoughts?
I installed a kickplate. Mine came with it....it gives you a "finished look".
I installed my dishwasher but it won’t drain the water, any ideas why? Blinking “heavy” light. The dishwasher is new so I know it’s not clogged.
@ItsHaysus I just got mine today. Having the same problem. Did you solve it?
@@MrGolov-te5eb yes i forgot to remove the plug in my garbage dispenser
@@Itshaysus Thanks man.

I don't have a dishwasher mounting bracket.
buy it
@@CreativeProcessDIY Where did you get it? I can only find the tabs, but not the long metal plate that goes under the countertop.
You did not show how to level, especially from front to back.
No explanation when connecting power wires?
Kickplate?
I did install it
I can't find bracket
?
I did not see a dishwasher air gap connection.
you didnt show the drain being connected to the machine
The plumber in me
Oh I KNEW THAT PART WAS THERE FOR A REASON
))
Didnt explain how to correctly connect the power.
what do you mean? the dishwasher works...
I hate how there is no light on the front of the unit
when the dishwasher finishes cleaning of dishware - it opens up itself. why do you need light?
DUDE, did you just put that plumber's tape on backwards????? *_*
You don’t even need tape on that joint!
In his country the water goes down the drain counter clockwise so the tape needs to also go opposite🙃
You noticed that too hey
You put the teflon tape on backwards. LOL
Not even needed. LOL.
Wrong! Test for leaks before pushing install!
Dishwasher should be installed before testing! Check installation guide!
I watched this to clarify how to adjust rear legs (they cannot be reached from the front once dishwasher is in place). You do not show or even mention leveling the dishwasher though.
You adjust the back legs by the nut on the bottom front of the dishwasher.
I did. You skipped that part
Wrong installation part sucks. Did you ask Samsung for the reimbursement for that dishwasher elbow?
this wideo is completly dark and can not see what he is doing .
what do you mean? did you try a different browser?
Skipped thru so many steps. Smh
Bud you only Teflon tape is on self-sealing threads . Those threads done seal. There is a flare rubber gasket that seals the fitting
Yeah, screw this. I'll just pay Samsung the $293 to install it for me.
))
He sounds like a Russian guy, but his notes on the switch board are in English. I suppose he practices full language immersion.
dude, this video is about installing a dishwasher.....in case you missed it....
Brand name ?? @4:03
Everbuilt from Home Depot
Turn off the annoying music
So the NEW dishwasher didn't come with a power cord???
You must have a wire coming from the wall where you want to install your dishwasher...It does not need a power cord.
