You did a nice job. Only issue is that plastic nut that comes on the water valve is meant to replace the brass nut on your brass L fitting. Simply remove the brass nut off the L fitting and install the plastic nut, then install the same way you did. See 6:20 into the video. Otherwise really great job!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!! What a really well done instructional video that even a complete newbie can easily follow. Due to some mix up, I was delivered a new Samsung washer but the installers and haul away was scheduled for another day. After staring at our new washer sitting in the living room for 2 days, I found your video. Without little to no cursing, I was able to replace our old dishwasher and install the new one. Thank you for tuning in and yes RUclips hit us with a copyright for the soft sounding music months after the upload which caused us to mute that part of the video. However, I do have an updated Samsung Dishwasher Install video (2023) on my channel!
Glad to help! Mission accomplished! Dishwasher installations can be intimidating and I respect those willing to take on the challenge. I appreciate your feedback 🙏
Good video wish I had seen it before I did my install. If you don't have a wall plug but just a several foot wire like I do you are in for a treat. I had to cut the clips off in the channel underneath the dishwasher and pull the wire through the channel with some string.
Existing electrical can certainly create additional challenges. I’ve had to fish wires through those channels many times and although it gets easier, I prefer being able to add a power cord and plugging in. Thanks for sharing!
