Alexander the Great apart from being a great military leader was also a pioneer in international unification and integration of peoples. He was always advocating cooperation and understanding between nations. He married non-Greek ladies, he mingled with local populations, he respected their religions, even dressed like them. So, these final plans of Alexander you are presenting are in tune with his ideology since they would help to unite different peoples even further.
I keep learning new things from History Leaks. Great work! Thank you!😊

If Alexander didn’t die at young age, I’m think he will invade to Italia and Carthage

The channel is very underrated. My idol has always been Alexander the Great. It's a tragedy that he died at a very young age. 😢

Thank you so much for your kind words, I really appreciate your support! It is a tragedy indeed, but there are many cases of great people who have died young, even in modern times, just look at the 27 club.

There is too much room reverb in your voice, making it difficult to listen/understand. You should increase the sound quality to improve your channel.
A large diaphram condenser microphone would require acoustic treatment. Instead get a small diaphram condenser (Such as Octava Mk012 or SE8) or a dynamic michrophone (Suck as SM57/SM58], together with a recording interface. Speak close (6-12") to the michrophone. Your back shouldn't be close to the walls while talking into the mic.
You will be shocked to hear the results. It will increase your views by ten folds at least.

So many state that Alexander died of a mysterious illness but it was actually his 4 generals that conspired against him and poisoned Alexander the Great.
His empire was then split in 4 between the 4 generals that killed him.
Never underestimate the envy of those closest to you, the more successful you are.

It is very possible that happened. There are many generals who would have had a lot to gain by doing that, and it was not uncommon in Macedonian society, they were known for very unstable succession. Even Alexander's father was assassinated.
sounds like a real life game of thrones scenario, and you are right you should not count out people closest to you 🤯🤔

Plus Alexanders army had already committed mutiny against their King because they were unhappy with Alexanders adoption of some of the Babylonians customs.
Also for a man as ambitious as Alexander its extremely difficult to have an army of 40,000 and his generals to stay loyal to your own ambitions.
Especially after 10yrs of conquest and empire building when you fought hard for it but its the King that is immortalised and remembered in the history books.
Not the soldiers or even his generals.
A man as driven as Alexander was never going to stop.
So they ended it after 10yrs of being away from their home nation Greece and their families.
We over embellish and romanticize these historical characters and events in a coat of glory but the reality is more severe and darker than we like to admit.

I feel like he would of also conquered some territories that he didn’t conquer that where a part of the Persian empire and push his empires borders all the way to the Caucasus mountains. And even conquering Greek colonies in southern Italy.

Your insights on Alexander's potential conquests are truly thought-provoking. Thank you for sharing! He could have paved the way for Pyrrhus in southern Italy, there were many opportunities, the Caucasus would be interesting and tough terrain to get around though.

They both had their full life and died in their late 60s. They accomplish their plan given the time thy had. However Alexander dies 32 years ago and people has always wondered if he had lived to his 60s and what he would have accomplished.
