2-in-1 Combo Washer Dryer Review

- *UPDATE* 4 months in and I am loving this washer-dryer even more than when I first got it! It's still running great with no problems. Pro tip: to minimize wrinkles, especially with sheets and duvets, take the items out after the wash cycle and shake them out before beginning the dry cycle instead of going straight to dry. This really makes a difference in cutting down on ironing (or maybe I am just neurotic about wrinkles!)
Thank you all for watching! Please subscribe to my channel if you found this helpful :) The pros and cons of a 2-in-1 combination washer dryer unit like the LG washer/dryer combo or Midea combination washer/dryer.

This is the best review. Honest... up-front. Are you still using it after 2 years? And any other pros and cons that you would add to this?
Love the way you’re straight up to the point, pros /cons are pretty factual while not being opinionated or judgy making topic relatable to active moms, very informative for me to make the right choice with this for home and RV travel
I'm glad you found it useful, Jia! Thnaks for watching & any other questions just ask.

3 hour to dry the cloth.. I love my separately machine.. now I care how I dry my cloth...
heavy load n jeens need at least 40-30 mintues high heat
Regularly load 25 mintues high heat
Sliks ones 15 minutes high-meduiem heat
Is the Dry setting only for drying the clothes, or does that imply wash first, then dry? Also are there different settings for dry? Like high, medium, low (permanent press / delicates)?
Hello! If you hold the pause button for 3 sec it should unlock even during a cycle.
I have the LG one and I love mine. Thank you for a very good (and honest) review. A combo isn't for everyone, but it works great for me.
Glad you like yours! Mine is still going strong, too.
The reason why this all in one washer/dryer takes more than 3 hours to dry is because it uses 120V versus the typical 240V (operate at a higher amperage).
Using the short cycle and high speed spin I was able to sort and hang up most of the items that were damp dry thus leaving the towels to the dry cycle. I can't remember spending more than 45 minutes doing a load both wash and dry. The exceptions are dirty, dirty items that need full or Heavy duty cycle.
going to try this, thanks!
I have this in the mastertech version and I love it!! I like that it automatically heats up the water according to your selection. I'm single no kids so its perfect for me, plus it saves a lot of space. The dry cycle starts off a bit long 5 hours but it automatically goes down to 1.5 hours after the first 20 mins of just extra spindrying. I usually just stick to the one hour wash dry setting. It drys everything except maybe heavy demin, which comes out a little damp. Did I mention that I love it
I’m about to purchase the Mastertech version so thank you for this!
@Karishma Samaroo it is always around that, if you want your clothes to be in your size you cannot push it,
Is it a steam dryer?
@@Kenishiadid you end up getting it? how has it been?
@@katriannam Yes, I got it just shy of 3 years ago and I love it! It has a smaller cabin than most standard front load machines so the most I’ve ever washed in it at any single time is my duvet insert/comforter and I’ve had no issues doing that, even though it’s a pretty snug fit.
My standard wash/dry load consists of approximately 5-6 bath towels and I’m able to wash and dry them with ease. I don’t use the 1 hour wash/dry cycle because it only washes for 5-10 mins and then begins the dry cycle. I personally like to wash my laundry longer.
In terms of drying, I put it on the standard “dry only” setting that lasts for 5h 39m, and the sensor usually decreases the drying time to about half or a third of that time depending on the size of the load. I also like that the machine heats up the water on its own so I didn’t need to install any additional pipes. It also does great even if the water pressure is low!
Major downsides: It gets a bit loud when spinning/drying and the rubber seal around the opening tends to pick up a lot of lint after drying towels (this doesn’t happen with regular laundry) so you’ll need to clean that part pretty consistently. I use old dryer sheets or a wet microfiber cloth to scrape the lint off the seal as well as inside the crevice.
I hope this was helpful! Shoot me any other questions you have and I’ll be more than happy to answer.
Small load with a 3.30 hr dry time? Not practical for a family. Thanks for the video 👍
It's definitely not for everyone, especially if there are kiddos in the mix!
It's ventless. This means in cold areas (like alaska) you do not have to heat the incoming air that is then ejected out of the exhaust witht the vapor.
I hated this leg combo. It never dried my clothes and towels. It steamed them and when I opened the door, the steam came out into my face! It did not dry my clothes all the way.I could never grasp all the settings.Too many options.
I have this same combo, it came in my tiny house. I tried doing just a dry cycle vs a wash/dry cycle and it sounds like it’s running water into the compartment. Have you noticed this? Also, I was curious if we can still use a dryer sheet or dryer balls? It seems like that’d be a no if you do a wash/dry cycle. Just curious what you do? Thanks!
Yes, it's a steam dryer so the water will be running when the dry cycle is on. I don't care for dryer sheets so I don't use them, but you could always throw one in between the wash and dry cycles. The cycles don't run back to back, you have to start each one separately, so there's an opportunity to put a dryer sheet in or take out any clothes you don't want to shrink.
3 hours to dry clothes....I hate mine...how are you saving energy???? To bad I live in an apartment, did not have a choice
Have you cleaned the lint out of the fan and drain tub? It will help significantly with dry time! I am going to make a video soon showing how to do this, but I will try to describe it here... you remove the top of the machine via two small screws on the backside. From there you will see a round motor attached to a fan, and attached to that is a big white plastic container or tub. You can access the inside of these via the screws surrounding the fan. Once you open this up you will likely find a TON of lint! When you clean it out regularly it helps keep the dry time minimal.
Just set it and forget it....no more taking wet clothes out to put it a dryer....Mine is over 3 years old...
That is great to hear!
Can we use this unit for wash only if we didn’t want to dry them. Or do we have to have washing and drying together in cycle?
Thank you
I'm going to buy a tiny home in a couple days. It's pretty small 170 square feet. I really want a small washer/dryer combo. How do I connect to water? Do I have to make a hole in my tiny home? Thanks. Kim
Typically it would connect to the normal hookups for a regular washer and dryer, the ones that kind of look like a hose spigot. But I hear this model can also be used with your kitchen sink or bathtub water hookups, you will probably need a special connector. Also it does need a way to drain, so you could run the drain hose into the sink/tub. You do NOT need to have a hole for an external vent, that is one of the conveniences of this machine.
How are you liking your tiny home after 3yrs? I plan to buy a 25ft RV for full-time living in September, so I'll be in a small space as well, but mine will have wheels lol.
Thank you for showing the American public how these work. lived in Europe for many years and this is the standard for washing machines Americans Want everything fast and large.
LOL. Now if I could only help them adopt the European standards for wine and cheese we'd be making real strides...

In Argentina we used the same system and I miss a lot
I'm American, and my problem was that I had no idea these existed! My apartment laundry mat is always "out of order", so anything is an upgrade. I always thought my country was super close minded, but I guess we all are if you think that some of us dont know what it's like to have nothing. I was lucky, many have it at lot worse then I did.
B4Now Humans are greedy. Americans have the money and other countries want it...that’s envy! 😉
Can you do a video that shows the last minute or 2 of the wash cycle and the first minute or 2 of the dry cycle and the 1st minute or 2 after you take the laundry out and lay it on your bed before you put them away?
Yes. I'm that girl. Lol
Hi and thank you so much for this very good review! I’ve been wanting to buy one! How much did it cost you to buy it? Thanks mike.
The one I bought was $800, but it looks like that exact model is no longer available. Here's the most similar one I can find: amzn.to/316FiDd . I also saw one online from Lowe's by Haier for around $1000 and that would probably come with free delivery.
also, if you're able to spend a bit more, LG makes a really nice one for about $1,700. That is the one I would have gotten if we had a little more in our budget for it!
@@cabanastateofmind I didn't even know you could get bush outside the UK but that's daylight robbery. The same machine you have costs £279.99
£279.99 in UK
Hold the play/pause button prob 10 sec it’ll stop and open and go back where u was at drying
you're right! I tried this and it works. Thanks!
3 hour plus dry time..boo!
hi - just wanted to share my research result - the reason why it takes longer time to dry is because this type of all-in-one machine all uses lower/regular volt wiring (110v) as you mentioned you don't need a big plug... whereas the regular vent dryer uses 240v power which provides the heat much quicker. This is why all brands all-in-one dryers take longer time to dry. :)
I also read that slower washing \ heating the water saves on your electric bill
@@beautyofthailand7393 it saves A LOT I'm looking for a new one but my Samsung doesn't use much
Bought one of this unit when i did my bathroom makeover and i am totally satisfied.Tammy is very precise with her review./
So glad you like it, Desney!
I've got the bigger 10kg/7kg washer drier version. Anyone who reads this buy another machine please! it has a major drying flaw and if you use it daily for drying it will slowly get wetter and wetter and just after a year stop drying at all. it has no lint filter so the lint ends up clogging the fan which then overheats the first thermostat after it. You can reset it by taking the top lid off and there is a button between the connection on the thermostat. I did but it still wasn't drying very good at all. I Pulled the fan out to inspect and the blades where caked full of lint. I Would not buy one again.
Can you tell me what does the - sun ☀️ and + sun mean when drying ??
@@supernelsonkiwi thanks for this feedback. I was almost about to buy the same 10kg/7kg model. Guess I'll probably go with LG then
@@Nosyagent hi, I've had my first one replaced just after 1 Yr it had a motherboard fault in the end and just threw error codes and did not run, my new replacement one after a while when the lint built up I would clean it, but then the fan would not run correctly and was too slow and would over heat the unit and pop the resettable fuses inside the unit. I got another fan from another unit which the fan spin speed is faster than the standard one it now sound like a little jet but it actually dries way way better and I've never had to clean the lint of the fan yet and the clothes come out bone dry not that slight damp feeling.
I had a Midea DMDV70 replaced under warranty for just over a year of use. It is used once a week. The replaced brand new unit has a rubbing noise. Is it normal? Video of the brand new DMDV70 in this link ruclips.net/user/shortsfQk3LJ6Julk?feature=shared
I love mine too. Can't believe the bad reviews. Mine was only a $800 LG one but it rocks for one person.
i just bought one and hooked it all up. my question is where is the lint trap? if there is one and how often should it be emptied.
Where is the lint filter ?
That little door on the front near the bottom. Use a pan under it and turn it counter clockwise to take it out and clean it. But other then that you’ll have to read or find the directions online on how to take the top of machine off every few months to clean any lint inside it . That’s what I read but I won’t be able to do it without help myself so that’s going be a pain!
What a nightmare it is to have one of these things
I TOTALLY AGREE
You might know this already but if you put a dry towel in before your dry cycle starts it will cut your dry time a bit
I didn't know that! Thank you so much, I'll be sure to try it.
Thanks you so much for the review.. It was very helpful.. I was going to buy one but the 3 hour drying time is to much.. I have a washer and a cloth line outside. On a hot day 20 to 40 min is all it takes even jeans.. And i get a pack of clothes pins for a dollar.. God bless..
Haha, I totally understand that! It takes a while but you get used to it. I would love to use a clothesline but doesn't work so well when it gets down into the 10's and 20's :D have a great day!
I have one and it does not take 3 hours to dry i promise . I did a small load and dried 45 min
3 hours to dry! That's absurd! The electric bills must be sky-high!
Great review but you do make me laugh as this is a standard size in the UK 🤣🤣
Thank you for your indepth review. We bought a Midea 2 years ago. It's only 2 of us using it. The entire electrical system went out which would cost $500 to replace (parts and labor). Only 1 yr warranty. Would never buy another. Additionally, terrible customer service. All offshore. Buying a LG to replace. We are full time RVers. At $800 for the purchase / approx 210 loads over 2 years = $3.80 per load. Yes, have the convenience of staying home for laundry. But to have a washer only last 2 years and such expense to repair, extremely disappointed.
That is disappointing! Sorry to hear your experience went that way. I've heard great things about the LG!
Cabana State Of Mind that’s what we replaced it with and could not be happier. No comparison in the quality. We were trying to save money with the Midea and, as the saying goes, “you get what you pay for “. Thank you for your comment. BTW, we bought the LG thru COSTCO. Saved some money and the quality of the delivery was commendable. Hauled off the Midea and set up the KG. Not easy in a Motor Home. More than paid for several years’ membership.
If it’s the steam dryer IT TAKES HOURS to DRY
Improve your drying by checking the following assembly issue. Take the top off by removing 2 screws and pulling top towards back. You will see condenser hose (has yellow jacket on hose) is zipped tied to back of machine. This causes a kink in the hose (look at back left). If you undo the zip tie you relieve the kink. If this hose cannot flow water then the condenser cannot do it’s job. I just bought this model and found mine has this problem. Let me know if yours has this issue.
Mine is not zip tied or kinked like you mentioned, unfortunately. I think the long dry time is just part of the deal with these kinds of washer/dryers.
3 hours dry time wtf
Hi! With your washer/dryer combo, does the dry cycle sound like it drains occasionally? I just bought mine, and I'm curious if that is normal.
Yes, it does! Almost like it drains several times mid cycle.
That is because it uses water from the inlet to cool the condenser unit. Sometimes up to 50 litres! I was thinking of buying a washer dryer unit but changed my mind after finding that out. The strange thing is, if you buy a condenser dryer on it's own it's an air-cooled unit.... Really can't understand why this wasn't the standard in washer/dryer units.
Thanks for the vidéo, just I needed it!
Looks identical to the Sôlt 8kg Front load washing machine
very straightforward and informative -- thanks for the review!
HI, THIS FRONT LOADER MACHINES DOES IT WASH CLOTHES PROPERLY???
IN LOOKING INTO THE MACHINE, DOES THE WATER LEVEL COVER THE CLOSE BEFOR WASHING??
I LOVE LG AND THIS SIZE WILL FIT PERFECTLY INTO MY SMALL SPACE.
TK YOU
It washes the clothes really well! I'm not sure about the water covering the clothes. It seems more like it sprays around while they're in there. Honestly I've never looked that closely but I've never had a problem with them never coming out not clean!
Their is no water settings for the water level you get one level water wash just don’t over load the one thing I do not like about this washer
I have same one but can’t seem to get the clothes dry at all can you let me know what program you use?
The throw it in the trash program
I still don't understand how it works. Does the washer dry the clothes? That's a plus if you don't have to unload the washer and put them in the dryer. 3 hours is way too long to dry. Did your electricity bill spike when you started using this?
Yep! It's a combination washer and dryer. You don't have to unload, but with this model you do have to press a button to start the dry cycle. At first I thought this was annoying but now I like that I have the option to take things out that I don't want to shrink, etc. My electricity bill did not seem to be impacted in any way by this machine.
Hi! I love this review! I noticed this review was posted 4 years ago. Have you had any issues with the washer/dryer? I want to buy a washer/dryer that will last.
Unfortunately we moved 2.5 years ago and left this unit behind, so I can’t say whether it’s still in action. HOWEVER one thing I would say is in hindsight, I probably would have paid more for the LG version, which I am guessing comes with better support. When we did have an issue with this unit (the control board got zapped and needed to be replaced) it was so difficult to get in touch with anyone from the company because they’re not based in the US. Just something to think about depending on where you’re located
Very practical video, thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
The door wont open bcause its call child’s lock.. for safety purpose
Great review. Thank you
Is it noisy and does it walk?
Can you wash/dry a comforter with this machine?
Hi Mikki! I have washed my queen size comforter once in it but I had to STUFF it in and I was worried the whole time it would break the machine so now I take it to the laundromat :) . I do wash duvet covers in it with no problem.
@@cabanastateofmind Thank you! I have a queen comforter set as well. Its super cold where I live. I have been trying to avoid the laundry mat at all costs. I live in a studio apartment without washer/dryer connection this would be perfect for me.
@@MsMikkiG11 ugh I hate the laundromat so much too! They make them larger than this unit - I got one of the smallest ones there is. Just a little larger and you'd be good to go. Mine is 2.7 cubic feet, I think LG makes one that is over 4 cubic feet!
Glad you like the unit. We have a Splendide that is the same size but it is vented and our dry cycle is never over 60 minutes for a full load...the electricity for an extra 2 1/2 hours drying is going to get expensive. And ours come out completely dry...so glad you are happy but I will stick with a vented model.
That's a great option! This definitely doesn't compare to a "standard" dryer but it's convenient for the size and the hookups we have (we do not have hookups for a standard in our house, would've had to have them put in)
Hi. Is it still running up to now? Planning to buy it for our flat.
Yes, it's still running great!
I've just bought and cant work out to use it. How do I put it on a normal mix wash and then dry?
Hi Fran, you cannot do a combo wash and dry cycle, at least on the unit I have here. You have to first run your selected wash cycle, wait for it to end, then start the dry cycle.
Hi. You can try to use "My cycle" program to setup wash+dry combo. Select any program you need marked with blue color on the left side from knob, then add drying cycle to wash by pressing Dry Level button. To store the program, press and hold "My cycle" button.
WHERE IS THE VENT TO CLEAN OUT LINT FROM THE DRYER. I HAVE A GE and I'm going crazy thinking the filter needs to be cleaned but can't find anything.
Fireeeeee 🔥 📛
It’s at the bottom of the machine! Bottom right on mine
I had the LG combo washer/dryer in California and it was awesome!!! When used properly it did well. Its only disadvantage was the drying cycle.... but again when used properly and knowing how to modify your laundry habits with it ... it works well.
Exactly! It's not perfect but it works for me.
Can you suggest the SIMPLEST version of these for the unattended wash&dry of a dozen hand towels and washcloths, where I can put them in on Wednesday, and don't need them again until Friday?
Hi Peter! The only one of these that I have seen that advertises a combo wash/dry cycle, meaning you don't have to manually press the dry button after the wash cycle ends, is this LG one: amzn.to/2m1STw5 if money weren't a factor that's the one I would have gotten but the one I have was a few hundred bucks cheaper.
You can set a timer on my magic chef combo washer/dryer I’ve not tried it yet sense i haven’t had to. you can read the manual online about that to see more about setting a timer on one. Just an 💡
I have a wash and dryer bush my only consern is how do you use the dryer it comes up on the display 4 05 is that the time it has to stay on for to dry only
Yep, that's the starting time (4 hours, 5 minutes) for how long it will take to dry. The lowest setting on mine starts at 3:30. BUT it doesn't usually actually take that long. The time will drop based on how fast it's drying. Mine usually takes around 2-2.5 hours to dry a load. Still a long time but not quite as bad as four hours!
Is there a lint trap in these?
So many down not enough up
Hi, can you please tell me do they give warranty ? If yes then how much ?
Hi, I have no affiliation with this company and am not sure if they offer a warranty. Sorry!
Thanks
Thanks for your review. I usually hang some of my clothes to dry, after the washer part is done, can I open the machine to take some of the things out and then continue with the dryer part? I know you mentioned that once the dryer part has started, I can't open it until it's done. Thank you.
Yes. The machine stops after washing and you have to tell it which dry cycle you want to use, then start the dryer. So you could take out clothes and hang them then. You just can't stop to take clothes out halfway through the dry cycle. Thanks for watching!
As a person commenting from the UK, that washer is a standard size
3 hours? Damn
And that's just drying, normally these washer/dryer combos usually take that long, plus you would need to split the load in 2 if you want to dry the clothes, otherwise it will not dry correctly. It doesn't matter the brand, model, size, or anything.
@@Blurain727 not worth 😂
This looks like a pretty standard European washing machine. based on what you said, it seems like american domestic appliance norms are fairly rubbish. vent needed? special plug? seriously. wow.
I use a similar midea wash/dryer.just the ON/OFF Buttons are different. After 3 years damage. I found damaged plastic parts in the washing drum. Maybe caused by overload use. What disspoint me was the customer Service of midea in Germany. No one is going on the Phone. Now i have to look on my own for a solution. But the function was good till the damage. But customer support must be better.
A few questions for you Tammy. Being ventless have you found that the humidity and/or heat increase in the room as you use the dryer function? Also being only a 120 volt dryer and not a 240 volt dryer it will draw (consume) twice as much current (or run twice as long to accomplish the same drying level) have you found a noticeable difference in your electric bill? Any idea if they make a gas version of this where the dryer is using NG or LP for it's heating rather than electricity?
Hi Christopher! I do not find that the humidity increases in the room. This is the only washer/dryer we have ever had since we moved to New York (were in FL previously), so I don't have much to compare the electric bill against. I'm not sure about the gas aspect, but our hot water is gas heated so I think that's where the majority of the heat comes from. This isn't like a normal dryer where it heats up electrically. Some other commenters have explained better how it works, but it's the steam & evaporation that does the drying, from what I understand.
@@cabanastateofmind Ah Thanks very much for taking the time to reply. Very helpful. So you guys use this washer as your primary machine? If so how many people in the family depend on it? I understand that all in one washer/dryers are not typically recommended by the manufactures for family usage in a home but usually for a single person or maybe two in a mobile home or camper. What's your thoughts on this?
@@christopherfcunha Yep! just my husband and I. I would probably not recommend as the primary machine for a family larger than a couple or maybe with one child. You'd be running it constantly!
@@cabanastateofmind I gotcha! Thank you again for the very useful information.
Washing cycle. FC lots of beeping. Stoped working still locked wont finish cycle
Hi,
For larger load like a bed blanket, can we get a larger combo machine I assume if you live in apartment or condo with limited space?
I've looked into these.. quite literally..
Insit they gave either a heat pump or a condenser. Both of these are different from the traditional dryer in that neither send moist are into the laundry. The reason the door cannot be opened during drying is that the condenser type uses a very high heater to dry the clothes by the evaporation of water from them and then the condensation of that vapour into a cold metal housing that then drops into the drainage section of the machine. By opening the door the heat is lost and the dryer time is massively increased.
Now the long dryer time is a trade off for efficiency. By having a longer cycle the machine is able to use smaller power elements and this translates to lower energy bills but the inconvenience of higher washing times.
Well done to spot the damp clothes red herring.
Also the condensation tubes on these are quite small and are vulnerable to being blocked with lint so don't neglect the cleaning of the machine.
I bought a whirlpool decor hand and I'm fixing it as the dryer element had broken so I'm seeing how the condensation part works. In more humid climates the heap pump may be the better option. Yes the drum is smaller but it has no agitator and it is kinder on the clothes and uses a lot less water.
Enjoy..
Hey,which combo do you have the 7kg washer and 3.5kg dryer or 10kg washer with 7kg dryer?
One more thing I'm looking for a condenser dryer
Does the dryer that comes in this combo a condenser dryer?
@@fizaslam Mine is all one unit, both washer and dryer in one. The one I have is 2 cubic feet. Yes it's a condenser dryer. If you check out the link in the video description it has the full specs. :)
Oh thank you
Sorry I didn't check the link before
@0:25 here kitty kitty
So you have to have the water hookups for the washer part or is there another way to do so,like hook it up to a sink, like the kitchen?
I have read reviews from people who said they hooked it up to the kitchen sink or bathtub, however I'm not familiar with how that setup works.
With the use of some optional accessories, such as a Y-connector and faucet adapter, a washer dryer combo can be easily connected to your kitchen, bathroom or any other sink. This allows you to use it just about anywhere, without the need for separate water connections.
Hey Rick
Washer dryer combos are never a good idea. Ask yourself, "where does the lint go when it's drying"?
The answer is, it builds up inside the machine, around the drum, heater element, and bearings. This can cause a fire rusk, and also will cause your machine to break down way quicker.
I had a Hotpoint washer dryer here in the UK, and it lasted about two years before the dryer stopped working completely. Luckily no fires though.
But seperate condenser, or ventless dryers are way quicker, more efficient, and safer, as they always have a lint catcher which can be removed for cleaning.
Does it work at the moment or you had to buy new one?
It still works great!
I was interested until you mentioned the dry time. That’s pretty much 4 hrs. No thanks but thanks for the heads up
Hi my name is Elizabeth i just moving into a new place to day's ago and I can't get it to dry i have the same brand as you do if you can show me how to use the drying cicle i will appreciate thank you
is this machine able to hook up via any sink? I'm looking for a portable washer/dryer
I've read that it can be hooked up in the sink or bathtub, yes. Although I think you'd need conversion parts to connect the faucet to the hoses.
@@cabanastateofmind THANK YOU
Yes it can be hooked up to a sink but I don’t know if that’s what limits the water level but I don’t see water in the washer although the clothes get wet but not enough water for me
3 years ago's review, in Canada this product is still coming soon
Good news
How do you open the circle filter trap? I've tried using a coin to open it. I'm concerned about breaking it. My clothes are consistently damp
Hello, I just purchased my midea and my previous drying machine had a like an internal water collector which I needed to empty, while this one has a lid that closes the water inside but when I opened it it poured all the water collected from the drying cloth es. Is it normal? Should I leave it like this and not try to empty it? If you empty it how do you this? And btw I bought it in Germany and all instructions are in German which I'm still not very familiar with...thank you in advance! ❤
I really like how non bias your review was. Thanks a lot.
Can it wash a king size comforter
I never had a king size bed when I owned this machine so I never tried. It might fit, but would probably be tight
Would you say it waste much more electricity due to it taking longer and being 110v?
do you have to take the screws from the back thanks ? 4x screws
Only if you don't want it to start walking.
We just installed ours today. Learned the hard way to read installation instructions first. Haha! It definitely started walking away on us. Took the packaging screws out, and it works great!
I am using an Edgstar version but it looks almost identical. Would you recommend doing a wash cycle, ending that cycle, then putting in a dryer sheet and turning on the dry setting?
I actually don't use dryer sheets (sensitive to the smell) but I think if you were going to use them that would be the way to do it.
If you put a teaspoon of vinegar with any essential scent you want into the rinse aid section (if there is one) it works like a fabric softener but during the wash session instead of the dry session.
How much will it affect your electricity bill with having to run it so much for so long?
If the clothes are not getting dry, they have a large number of these that the drain hose under the top lid was attached wrong to the front of the machine and needs to be unhooked and routed so that the hose is no longer kinked.
Is this good for an apartment ?
YES! I would have put one in my NYC apartment if I knew about them sooner
i just bought my new samsung washer dryer series 6. my dry cycle only took about 1:35 hours on almost full load or 2 hours on full load with mostly cotton. i like yours too
Hi. I think we have same model of washing machine. Can yu help to let me know if your machine making weird noise when spinning? I wonder if its normal. Thanks
Was interested in this but 3 hours to dry? Nvm. I ordered the kuppet mini washer but wont be here till late may, looking for something to be delivered faster.
Nah. Covid
Hi is your washer dryer making a whisling noice when drying ???
Cute
Is the combo machine portable
I guess you could move it around but it is heavy and not on wheels. I think they do make a model that's on wheels and meant to be movable
How much is your light bill that it take 3 hours to dryer the clothes is it expenses
Good night
Do you still have this machine
I live in an RV. Does the indoor venting fill the room with excess heat?
No, my model does not. Our laundry room is maybe 6' by 8'.
No. It recycles the hot air/steam within itself. The surface heat of the machine would not be enough to cause much of a difference if any at all.
Blue Wolf washer dryers typically use cold water to condense water vapour. It will inject a small quantity of fresh, cold water every few seconds. The water helps condense steam and the now warm water is pumped to the drain. In an RV you will need to ensure you have a large water tank, the cooler the better, or be hooked up to a water supply. These things can use a lot of water during the drying cycle. A compact vented or air heat exchange dryer might be a better option as they don't require cold water to operated, but the condenser version do eject heat into the living space and don't function as well in warmer environments.
just want to say thank you going to buy one
Great! I am so glad you found it helpful.
It's a steam dryer, no wonder he clothes are humid are dried.
Hey, can you tell me the meaning of the sun symbols? One has a minus through it and one has a plus through it . I have no idea 🤷♀️ and can’t find anything online about it. But it’s On the control panel when you dry clothes is when the sun ☀️ shows a -- or a + going through the ☀️
