- I gotta say, seeing this bumper finally all painted, has got me so pumped. Completely changed the look of the car. Now we just need a big ole' front mount... Coming soon :)

I've only seen 2 300ZX's and I immediately fell in love with them. The ones I saw were the twin turbo models, and looked absolutely beautiful. Can't wait to see a 2JZ in this thing! On another note, the bumper was painted pretty good!

Great job on the paint job! You could have a push fan and pull fan on your "booth" and put home air filter on the pulling fan. That can help with keeping dust and particles out.
So glad you decided to put the 2J in the Z you scared me for a second. But yeah man you got my vote and goodluck the car looks great.

Car looks sick bro! You definitely gotta do something about the bay after you pull the vg... a car that pretty outside needs a pretty heart ya know what I mean? Also, a little hint, try wetting the ground some where you’re spraying, it helps to keep the dust down while spraying 🤙
One thing I really like about 2jz in Nissan's is the turbo is on the opposite side of the brake master cylinder so u don't have to worry about heating up that system. As a side note 2jz way easier to get parts for supposedly. I love RBs so much but still

You should have taken the water hose and sprayed the ground underneath the tint before you started to spray the bumper so the dust dosent kick back up

Looks super great! Question, how did you get the new paint to match so well with the Original paint. The clear coat on my bumper is peeling and the paint has been exposed for a year now and i think it needs to be repainted but im afraid that the colour wont match well. any advice on how to get it match better?

It's probably an easy fix, but I hated that thing anyways. So loud and didn't start worth crap in the winter.

Please do a sinlge turbo build. A perfectly sized single turbo for around 450hp (2jz handles alot so no worries). Much easier to do a single swap instead of getting the twins to work. Also the room is better with a single :P

Looks decent for sure, I’m worried about your lack of primer however... It’s likely to “halo” in a few weeks over those thin spots, spray bomb primer is not a good idea in any case. Tint looks great, not sure how I feel about the 2JZ just yet... You made me laugh with the air compressor lol!
I got a 5 speed transmission/alternator and short shifter laying around
Next time use high build primer. That way you dont need to use any filler on the pin holes
The holes were too big to just be filled with primer. The primer used was high build.

Bumper turned out amazing! I am curious though why you went with the VVTI 2JZ? My understanding is that the non-VVTI is easier to tune.
2JZ VVTI makes more power than its non-VVTI clone
deathxcircle that was years ago. Nowadays the vvti is easily controlled by standalone ecu’s. Since it is a swap, and he plans on eventually going big single, the standalone is basically a necessity. Vvti is basically extra horsepower, because it’s basically Toyota vtec. It moves the intake cam at higher rpm to allow more air in

Well the car looks good because it's a 300ZX but too bad you're going to fuck all that up with a 2JZ. Another 300zx that someone has to desecrate, you might as well put a LS motor in it and go all the way in fucking it up.

Kalvin have a question bro. I have a 0y dodge charger rt. And it has racing stripes that are old and faded. What would be the best way to get them off without having to repaint the car. They are sun baked pretty bad been on sense 06 I didn't put them on by the way lol. Thanks for any help bro
I would get an eraser wheel by 3M, it takes off stickers and vinyls stripes pretty easily. Just my two cents.

Poly is a great idea, but the waviness even after painting is just terrible. Still the best for drifting if you are going to beat it up, but ill probably go fiberglass again even though its a giant pain in the ass. I know, my pickiness is my downfall
