This woman is incredible. The patience it took to socialize a feral cat and make him love you-this woman is a miracle worker. And look how happy her kitty Bruce looked at the end! A real cat whisperer!
Brought me memories of my beloved Mama. She attacked me in the process took years for her to love me. She had a sweet love for my brother.. he was her favorite person. Mama was with me for 14 yrs..
It took me three months to properly re-socialize and befriend an elderly tortoiseshell calico, I named Grandma Kitty. I think that she was abandoned by her previous owners. I gave her three more love filled years than she would have had if she stayed in the streets. I knew she was elderly and needed special attention since she was missing a good bit of her teeth, couldn't really gain any weight, couldn't meow at all, coughed whenever she started purring hard, and had trouble with bowel movements. But she was the sweetest cat I've ever had. She quickly befriended the other cats and dogs in the house and formed a very close bond with pit-mix named Geisha that even had Grandma Kitty laying in a plastic kid pool turned welping box with Geisha's litter of puppies. I miss her so much...
Yes, she deserves every ounce of affection Bruce is going to shower her with over the years. He is such a cutie and looks so happy, all because she took her time and didn’t give up. ❤🥰
He's an outdoors cat why not leave it half and half have door ajar so he can come and go as he pleases, he won't run away, now he's found a kind caring human
Same here I never owned a pet before I go my girl Apricot But she changed my life in so many amazing ways and I can't go to sleep or wake up not being happy when she's there to show me how much I'm loved
This is how we took in our feral girl Josie. I had been feeding her for about 6 months with me sitting on our porch just talking to her. I was finally able to pet her and she just melted after that. She was starved for affection. We finally brought her in the house one cold Canadian winter night and she has never left. That was 5 years ago and she has the best life with her 3 cat brothers.
What a lovely story. We adopted a feral cat who loves us but hates our resident elder cat. We are forced to keep them separated all the time. Thankfully the house is huge and they have enough space but I still dream of that day when they'll love each other as much as they love us
Wow it took you 16 years for you get a kiss..I'm at a loss for words. Except God bless the love and kindness and patience you have for your now precious fur baby..your story is so amazing ❤
You have to really love someone to maintain that kind of patience. But obviously the rewards were HUGE. The love story of a sweet lady and a cautious cat has a very happy ending.
A year is a bit long. But I bet it was lovely seeing you this cat come around I hope he has a long happy healthy life with his owner who is so awesome and patient. God bless them both.
He was just confused, he didn't know if he deserved love & affection nor how great it was. After he found out, he looked like the great outdoors didn't exist, as far as he is concerned!❤
You can show love and affection by putting food out for a cat. If she wants to eat it or not, it's her choice. That is called freedom, right? Just replace this cat in this story with a girl and this cat-trapper with a man. Would you call him a Saint?
I've succeeded like this with several ferals. Believe me, it can be done with adult cats, not just kittens. Persistence and patience over time and a lot of love.
I believe it. My grandparents looked after a stray female on their land who brought her feral family with her, that included the feral father who hung around. They managed to capture all the kittens to get them fixed and Poppy who they named the mum. Poppy lived with them for years when all the kittens grew up and took off. Poppy passed away a few years after my grandmother did in 2013. 🙏
Hats off to you. Wow! The incredible amount of Saint-like patience you must have to tame an adult feral cat. Unbelievable. People say it can’t be done.
It's likely he has a domesticated parent or relative(s). Although the feral genes are dominant most of the times they're still easier to train than 100% feral.
I am currently taming a stray. We feed him everyday, he comes to eat, hisses at me, then lets me pet him when he’s eating. He has a little bit of scar tissue on one half of his face from when he got bitten by a predator. His name is Prince William and he’s probably one of the cutest cats I’ve ever seen, he has a sort of round face and he’s a brownish-gray with sort of half spotted half striped markings. He has a white nose patch and a white stripe that goes up to in between his eyes, he has pale green-yellow eyes. I make more progress everyday Edit: now he is fully tamed, he comes inside. He has developed a bad limp after fighting with another cat, and I worry for him a bit because he is not a young cat.
The fact that his face is round is probably cuz of testosterone build up in cheeks (as seen in Bruce also) as a result of him being not neutered. He will chill out noticeably once fixed & it'll also extend his lifespan.
That's really promising he lets you touch him at all! My Tuxy girl, a tiny tuxedo she-cat, took years, literally years around 2-3, for me to let me touch her at all. I just fed her every day, put a little cat house and heating blanket out to give her shelter, didn't get angry at her when she'd hiss/scratch me. Now she climbs on my lap, shows me her belly, let's me carry her, etc. Animals make you work for their love, but it's the most rewarding feeling in the world once you've got it. Good luck for you and your kitty!
Good job! I also tamed a stray kitten. She was alone with no mother, I would go feed her and push away all the other neighborhood cats who wanted to get her food. I think that's how she learned that she can trust me. Then I introduced her to my house. She was scared at first but got used to it. We slowly transitioned from outside to inside, and every time I would go to get her, she wanted me to pick her up and carry her like a baby. Now she's 2.5 years old, quite vouloumous to say the least, but she still wants to be picked up every time 😂 my back is killing me sometimes but it's worth it for my baby fluffball.
Seeing bruce realizing that living as a housecat is very convenient in a warm house full of pillows, unlimited food, and lots of love gives me the serotonin boost i need ❤️
Trying for a whole year to get Bruce comfortable enough and actually pet him was totally worth it. He is incredibly a love bug now and he is gorgeous. 😮❤😸
What a totally handsome cat! This is proof that not all ferals are incapable of becoming loving house cats and companions. I lost my very first cat, a former feral, that turned out to be the best cat ever. We lived together for over ten years before kidney failure took him from me. He never damaged or scratched anything n the house and was always the best cat I could have ever wanted. I really miss my friend and buddy.

This is absolutely beautiful. He looks so much like the feral we rescued size and all. Mr. Tennessee Whiskers would stare into our house for hours upon hours. If we closed the curtains he would find any open spot to stare into. He was the best creeper. Now he lives inside, rides in a cat stroller and sleeps in an actual baby bassinet. A lot of ppl don’t realize how incredibly sweet and just baby cats can be. I can’t have cats at the moment bc my kid is so incredibly allergic to them, which is sad bc she’s been obsessed with kitties since before she could speak. But we’re working on it. Her cat allergy isn’t as devastating as it used to be, so fingers crossed. But any cat can be that sweet baby you want, and I swear by hand raised kittens if you want a higher chance of getting the biggest cuddle buddy. My fam raised 5 kittens by hand after their mom almost died and had to be hospitalized. 3 became the biggest love bug babies, 1 a sweet boy who wasn’t quite as baby, and Miss Grey, we probably shouldn’t talk about the demon that cat was. But the 3 that were the sweetest were raised by me and my sister. Primarily by me. I was a lonely teenager in a new city and I poured every bit of my unrealized nurturing into him. All my teenage “omg I want a baby”, was transferred to those kittens. I ended up with kittens that were so sweet that ppl who hated cats fell for them. Ppl who were scared of cats became obsessed with them. I truly belive that orphaned kittens that are raised with love and care become incredibly special cats. But be prepared for needy cats who follow you everywhere and won’t leave you alone when you want to sleep in. My one cat, Fearless used to pull my nose ring out with her teeth in the middle of the night so I’d wake up and give her attn. My other kitty Alli Kat would smush her face into mine while rapturously drooling and purring every am to wake me up. Mr. Black would nurse on my ears to such a degree that I had to start putting bitter apple on my earlobes bc they were pruning up. Dude would leap from the floor, then climb up my body to get to my ears. They were absolutely crazy for me, and every time I left and came home I was greeted by them rolling on the floor in ecstasy, and a chorus of frantic meows to welcome me home. When I worked at a vet clinic the kittens who got dropped off way too young and hand raised by us, were also the biggest babies. So srsly if that’s the kind of cat you want check with rescues to see if they have any neonatal kittens they’re hand raising and put a hold on a couple.
@@jimg9820 She wants rats but I’m not willing until I trust she can take care of them and it won’t be completely left up to me, which is how it’s been so far with our dogs. My niece has Guinea pigs and my kid likes them but they aren’t her preferred pet. Fortunately a fateful encounter with some poodles taught us she can tolerate dogs that have hair instead of fur, tho she’s allergic to dog salvia so she has to limit puppy kisses and immediately wash where she was licked. So far we’ve had a Poochon we Bichon mix we adopted, who’ve she’s been ok with. We also lived with my sister’s standard poodle who we now have partial custody of bc he’s both me and my sisters baby. But my kid has had this dream forver to wake up on Xmas am to a kitten under the tree. Unfortunately every time she goes to her dad’s house who has a cat, she struggles for almost a week afterwards. Fortunately her eczema isn’t active right now but the severe sleep disturbances, mood swings and panic attacks still occur. As well as the more common symptoms of swollen itchy eyes, etc. On the whole I feel lucky we can have dogs. I always loved dogs but preferred cats, but now I love both equally. So I hope things will get better so when can have kitties, but I’m happy we can have any pets at all that aren’t fish or frogs. Appreciate the advice! ♥️
I'm very allergic to cats but I'm able to have a cat. Purina makes a cat food called Live Clear that decreases cat allergens by 50%. I also keep the cat out of my bedroom so there's at least one room that is allergen-free. I also take Allegra as needed. I used to get itchy eyes and throat and a stuffy nose before I implemented these things.
I second Purina Pro LiveClear. DEFINITELY helps with allergens. It's a bit expensive though so I will mix some with other cat food to stretch it a bit longer!
Ah, man, I love those street tomcats so much. Their huge heads, and the tough demeanour that changes to affection step by step, once they start trusting you. Winning the love of a cat like this is among the most satisfying things life has to offer.
I love this. This woman is such a kind soul. It is adorable to see Bruce go from fight or flight hissing to a fake hiss just to hiss while he is all toasty and comfortable to no hiss at all.
If you want the very definition of love, compassion, kindness and patience, then look at this wonderful earth angel lady ❤❤❤❤❤❤. To be able to socialise a feral kittie is extremely difficult. In many instances, they cannot be socialised. There are ofcourse exceptions to this, as is proven in this beautiful clip . This kittie will give his love ❤️ 😍 💖 ❣️ to this wonderful lady for many years to come. I also believe that he will be an indoor kittie as he now has a loving human and safe forever home. ❤❤❤❤❤❤.
I have a cat rescue and its hard but rewarding work. What this lady did was heroic. Patience and love are very powerful. God bless this woman for her undying commitment to this creature of God 🙏❤️
These stories always leave me with little tears of joy. After many years of taking care of feral cats and getting them spayed and neutered, etc. I now have a 17 year-old feral cat that I take care of every day. He spends half the day in my house and half the day outside.he could stay fully in my house, but he still loves going outside. Love him so much. And he lets me do anything. Pet his belly smooch him sleeps in bed he’s the best.
Well done!! 💘😺💘 Thank you so much for having the patience & time to tame this beautiful sweet kitty! 😺 You've proven in such a beautiful way, that feral cats are able to express trust & love toward a caring human being.
Awesome. To know that there are so many people who make this sort of concerted effort to help another being. Which you know that cat was at the weathers demands living outside as he did. Which to me is so scary. I am thankful this channel allows me to see these sorts of efforts and really miracles created by people with empathy and Love.

Aww...what a sweet melting mush mush, I adore him. The transition from feral to your forever beloved Buddy/Bruce. Thank you for your patience with him and loving him ❤.
This makes me miss the feral cat I was making strides with who lived in my back yard as a teenager. She had multiple litters who were the best cats ever. She trusted me more than anyone but I could still only “pet” her by putting my hand on a window screen and she’d rub against it. Except when her hormones were going crazy right after giving both, then I could pet her. She was fine with my presence in the yard because she knew I wouldn’t push her boundaries. She even chose to come inside to have her third litter, which I thought was huge! She normally flipped out feeling trapped if the door closed when she had wandered inside. Sadly we moved away before I could fully socialize her. I miss you Scaredy Cat!
How wonderful this happy tale is! I worked in rescue and got a very sick, FIV+, very feral kitty once. The vet said "oh, he'll be dead in 3 days." I said, well, I'd like him to have love before he goes. So I took him home. Got him neutered, and his teeth pulled (has to be done for sick FIV+ to relieve them of mouth pain and infection.) He went from being like a rabid raccoon to the biggest snuggle bug. My pet sitters all found him to be their favorite. He lived 12 more years with me. RIP Pegasus. They can really turn around, they WANT love and comfort.
Your story brought joyful tears to my eyes. I love the way you were soooo very patient with him and absolutely loved how he came to be YOUR fur baby. What a truly beautiful, heartfelt story. May God Bless you and your new little, adorable fur baby. ❤️🐾❤️
This is simply amazing. Her EQ is off the charts! The level of respect, patience & understanding she demonstrates is tremendous. And thanks to these qualities, Bruce is not only domesticated, but also feels very loved & is giving back the same in return. My guess is, that she is not only this great with animals, but quite likely humans as well. Well done girl. ♥️🐈👍
This is an amazing story of perseverance by Sarah. And the end result for Bruce is the most heart warming of all. Fantastic story! ❤from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺
As a person who has adopted seven feral 'furry-balls-of-joy', there's nothing like when a kitty accepts you for the first time. When they cross that threshold of fear...love takes over. GREAT JOB!
Cats are adorable ❤️ I once had a cat. She used to purr deeply as I carried her in my arms. Loved it ❤ Once I mistakenly dropped her on the floor. Shocked and bewildered, she just stared at me with heartbroken eyes. The next day, she was gone. She never returned back home. Cats are adorable, but so unpredictable and unforgiving too.
@@Nerinav1985 I'm so sad to hear about the purring kitty who went away. It would break my heart if something happen like that with any of my furry-balls-of-joys. I look at your face in this clip, and I see the most beautiful woman in the world. That's what seeing kindness, love and patience at this level does to me. It gives me hope that great human beings still exist and do make time to make this world a better place. Only a few people will understand just how difficult and time consuming domesticating a feral cat is and paying the vet bills. I love seeing the two of you making each ones life a little sweeter just knowing each other. May God bless you both and may happiness be your constant companions. If some movie star writes a check for 50 dollars people go crazy and treat them like a god. It's hundreds of times harder to do the actual work, put in the effort, donate all your time than it is to write a check.
You are one amazing person. God bless you, Sarah, for giving Bruce the time, patience and love it took to win him over. You have a dedicated friend for life! And I love his "tom-cat" cheeks.
Such a beautiful story. I had a tear in my eye. So much for me being a hairy biker. I love cats and love how people can take the time to make cats lives beautiful again. We have 2 rescue cats also. Congratz!

Your kid may not be allergic to rabbits or guinea pigs, if you really want them to experience a furry companion.
@@careyclouser1022 Thank you for the food suggestion.
I second Purina Pro LiveClear. DEFINITELY helps with allergens. It's a bit expensive though so I will mix some with other cat food to stretch it a bit longer!

Unconditional love made the difference. Let us all try to be a bit more like this woman! ❤❤
Bless this woman. Two beautiful spirits coming together. ❤
That took a helluvalotta patience and long-suffering. Kudos. Bruce, you're living the high life now, buddy!
He's SO friend shaped and I love him with all my heart.
Ah, man, I love those street tomcats so much. Their huge heads, and the tough demeanour that changes to affection step by step, once they start trusting you.
Winning the love of a cat like this is among the most satisfying things life has to offer.
The cat is lucky to have found you. Well done.
Aw, sweet Brucie ~ the longing for love and the fear of love. Beautiful to see his transformation.😻
He looks like a little Lynx 🥰
Hes adorable! Ive been in same situation. Took a year to gain trust and have cat feel ok in my house. After that, he was so sweet and best cat ever.
I love this story! Bless your heart ❤️! He needed love.
It's all about trust with these sweet beautiful little creatures.
Adorable video, good job.
He's absolutely beautiful - 2 lucky souls!
3:18 Those eyes.... tells it all.
LOL, I love that look he gives you in the very last image of you both, he looks up at you with such love in his eyes!
Well done!! 💘😺💘
Thank you so much for having the patience & time to tame this beautiful sweet kitty! 😺
You've proven in such a beautiful way, that feral cats are able to express trust & love toward a caring human being.
Awesome. To know that there are so many people who make this sort of concerted effort to help another being. Which you know that cat was at the weathers demands living outside as he did. Which to me is so scary. I am thankful this channel allows me to see these sorts of efforts and really miracles created by people with empathy and Love.
This Lady is An Angel! Truly Happy that she continued to feed, care & socialize this Kitty. Really Happy that she turned him into a Lovebug & has adopted him! He's a Handsome Sweetheart Lovebug! He now is in a Loving Furrever Home!!! 💙🩵💙🐱👩💙🩵💙
Patience, love and compassion is an amazing virtue. ❤
Bless u for being so kind & patient w this guy...clearly he didn't have good relations w ppl but u were persistent & it finally paid off 👍
My into to my husband's cat wasn't good at first...I accidentally stepped on his tail & he hated me for yrs.
It takes a long time to win a cats love..I know 🙃
This is how I ended up with a number of cats. Once they come in and live the good life, they don’t want to leave!
Ha! How true!
Great job, lady. What a lovely expression of care. Small miracles.
Aww...what a sweet melting mush mush, I adore him. The transition from feral to your forever beloved Buddy/Bruce. Thank you for your patience with him and loving him ❤.
She is an extremely motivated & patient rescuer. Getting repeatedly scratched up & probably bitten but STILL not giving up. Good job!
God bless you for loving the poor animal and not give up . 🙏🙏
Спасибо вам за вашу доброту. Это большая редкость ❤
ThankYou......He just needed some understanding.
What a big and beatiful cat! And so are your heart and patience, lovely!
I'm so glad you found each other, he's a beautiful cat!!! ♥️👍🐈⬛💯♥️
So proud of you
Love and kindness never go away
You are so sweet, at the end feral cat so sweet
Cat + Lady = ❤
I really admire the patience and dedication you showed to this handsome guy. You really earned a beautiful relationship with this cat
Incredible what a little love and patience can do ❤🥰😍
Bless him, the chonky lad - so lovely to see him eventually have a life of comfort & love, because of one woman's patience & understanding.
Любовь и добро НЕ могут НЕ растопить страх! 😍🙏❤️
True!❤❤❤❤
This is an amazing story of perseverance by Sarah. And the end result for Bruce is the most heart warming of all. Fantastic story! ❤from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺
As a person who has adopted seven feral 'furry-balls-of-joy', there's nothing like when a kitty accepts you for the first time. When they cross that threshold of fear...love takes over.
GREAT JOB!
Cats are adorable ❤️
I once had a cat.
She used to purr deeply as I carried her in my arms.
Loved it ❤
Once I mistakenly dropped her on the floor.
We can only hope that when something unfortunate happens between us & them, that they know we love them with all our hearts, and would never intentionally hurt them.
It’s so good to see good people taking care of animals.makes me say I think we will be okay in this world today.a lot more to do .thank you for all u do
The world needs more feel-good stories like this one. ❤❤❤
Yes! Stories like this make my heart smile 😻
I am crying like a baby...this made my whole year!
The patience, the willingness to give him time while believing he will eventually find out how amazing this human is...incredible.
And what a beautiful reminder that every animal needs and wants to be loved.
Sarah and Bruce, two names I will never forget. My heart is full! 🥰
This is just so sweet!! I’m glad it proved to be worth every inflamed scratch and yowling moment to get to the snuggle part! What a thankful return you received! So happy for both of you 🥰❤️
I look at your face in this clip, and I see the most beautiful woman in the world.
This is very precious.. youre both lucky to have each other.. extra credit for the mom, u are an angel ❤
Aww precious Bruce ❤ Those ol tomcats are so special, and there's nothing more rewarding than winning their love ❤️
If you give love you get love back tenfold. Good on you for giving.
Such a beautiful story. I had a tear in my eye. So much for me being a hairy biker. I love cats and love how people can take the time to make cats lives beautiful again. We have 2 rescue cats also. Congratz!
Great job! It cheers my heart that there are people willing to devote the time it takes to teach scared cats the joys of owning a human.
Love, love, love this story, and to see how far he's come at the end! Bless you for your patience and for never giving up on this precious boy! What a handsome he is! 🤗❤
Lovely boy ❤ Thanks for him 🙏
Congratulations on turning that beautiful feral cat into a loving cat nicely done and how rewarding for all your patients ❤❤❤❤❤
I too have a feral that I've been working with for about a year and she only started coming in the house about a month ago. She's still real skittish and freaks out when I close the door behind her so I'm taking it slowly. I hope I can settle her in before the snow flies.
You don't need a male companion, now that you have Bruce. Bruce will never cheat on you, that's for sure. Btw, you are an incredible goodhearted person for helping this precious little soul. Bravo!
Amazing lady.
From wary glances to warm embraces! 🐾❤ Witness the incredible journey of patience and love as a woman turns a feral cat's year of skepticism into a lifetime of affection. 🌟💕
Such a handsome boy. Thank you for giving this guy a chance ❤
Slow and steady wins the race. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Love this! I am going on over a year taking care of an elderly feral cat. She will not stay inside, but will come in daily to be brushed. She lives in a heated house on our porch. It takes time to get them to trust you and totally worth it when they do! Hats off to you for being a great cat mom!!!❤
You are such a wonderful person and he's such a handsome boy! 🩷☺️
Once you have their trust and Love. It's forever.
OMG! He’s beautiful! What a lover!😆 Many thanks for working so hard to socialize him and providing a wonderful home! Bless you both!
wonderful human person, wonderful cat,who was abused before and had to fight to survive❤
Aww(h)
What a gorgeous ball of fluff 😻
Bruce chose you on some level, but didn't have the roadmap to how. So glad you were patience and didn't give up on him 🤗
Thank you and wishes from Arctic Norway for many many years of guardianship to come ❣
You are an amazing person. Bless you heart.
Thank you for helping Bruce 😊🙏😸
I APPLAUD this woman!!!!!! Such diligent patience! And to NOT give up! This video speaks volumes about you and your big heart! You are beautiful, and a total stranger loves you tonight!!! Thank you, just for being You!! ❤️❤️❤️
Found my sitting in the snow in Prescott, AZ.
Took me 2 months to get her to trust me.
Breaking that wall was an amazing feeling.
Just a beautiful cat and his beautiful mum
