Nice video, Although It’s quite a bold statement to say you’ve done everything there is do do around here in just three months. I’ve been working in tourism here for 17 years, mainly as a guide and let me tell you there is SO much more to explore around the area than what is mentioned here. It’s an incredible part of the world!
Thanks for this great and helpfull video . As well for the videos from.Fitzroy island ,Cairns city and Port Douglas. Very helpsome for our planning . Greetings from Norway . You got my abo .😊
@@JustinBainbridgeYT You should come back and invest in showing Cairns to the world and what Cairns can offer to the world. I believe it is the next Bali in the years to come. I believe your videos and promotions would be a great asset to Cairns and Queensland.
Unfortunately not, Flights are plentiful into Cairns airport, Currency is Australian Dollar and there lots of publikc transport busses ot get you around the local area and to the northern beaches.
Nice vid, Justin. Thanks for sharing the guide. Merry Christmas to you guys. Cheers to your travels and channel from your fellow Traveling RUclipsrs. - Turtle and Bear
Thanks Guys! Hopefully it'll help people out planning their trips to Cairns. All the best for next year to you too! Safe travels and I'll go check out your channel! Merry Christmas!
It was just one we found on flatmates, basically an Airbnb type place. Your best bet will be to check on flatmates and air bnb if you're looking for a share house.
Great video! When you say hostel prices skyrocket during peak season when is that actually considered in cairns? Would September be included in this? Also, are the nearest beaches walkable or must be driven to?
To be honest, you don't really see snakes around unless you're working on a farm. There are some in the rainforests, but you'd be lucky to see one as they tend to keep away from people. I wouldn't worry if I was you! 😃
Hey! 5 days should be plenty of time. Kuranda is not too far from cairns and could comfortably be done in the morning or afternoon. Port douglas is a great day trip. So I'd say spend the 2nd half of the Kuranda day visiting some close by waterfalls (Crystal Cascades is a nice one to go to). Another day trip to the Great Barrier reef is a must. Then check out some of the beaches nearby (Trinity Bay and Palm cove are the best 2 nearby) Head to Behana gorge for a lovely picture with Walshs pyramid. Then maybe a day spent doing the waterfall circuit south of cairns.
You can but it is very hit and miss with weather, could be fine or it could be very wet and stormy. I'd go during the dry months if possible, when it rains it pours!

Thanks for sharing your direct experience ❤❤❤❤❤❤
You are very welcome! Hope you have a great trip to Cairns!
And cairns has one of the best military vehicle museums in the southern hemisphere, check it out at the Australian armour and artillery museum!!
Great recommendation! I had no idea about that, or I'd have definitely paid it a visit! Thank you! 😃

Hey do you have a video on flights, currency, local transportation, etc?
Unfortunately not, Flights are plentiful into Cairns airport, Currency is Australian Dollar and there lots of publikc transport busses ot get you around the local area and to the northern beaches.
I live in Cairns.❤❤❤
Awesome video dude!
Thanks dude! Thanks for the support!
Lovely Vid Hope I ll get there next summer !!
I like to go to Dundees when in Cairns
Great video! Is it possible to get around to the forests, beaches, waterfalls etc via public transportation?
It is possible, yes. It's easier to get on a tour for the waterfalls, but the beaches etc you can take Busses to 😃
such a good video all information very well commented you deserve definitely many more viewers! keep going
Thank you very much! Glad you got some value from the video! Hope you have a great trip to Cairns 🇦🇺

Thank u for the info sir
Nice video mate, subbed
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
Justin, also can you please guide how do we travel? Do car must in Cairns? Or can go get public transport?
I would reccomend hiring a car when you're exploring around Cairns. It will make your day much easier, it's also not too expensive 😁
Great video Justin!
Thank you so much Roy!
Amazing video! Can you tell me is March good time to visit Great Barrier Reef?
March would be okay, that's after the peak of summer. Cairns can see a lot of rain during the early months of the year, but you should be alright 😀
@@JustinBainbridgeYT Thank you for the response ☺️ Do you think we will be able to do snookering during March as it might rain.
Aloha Justin! Quick question. What do you think of Traveler's Oasis hostel?
Aloha! I've never been to Travellers Oasis, so I can't comment on it unfortunately 😃
Hey! Could you please suggest where should I go Great Barrier Reef or fitzory island..
I can go to one place only..
Go to the Great Barrier Reef for sure! Fitzroy is nice but going out to the reef is much better for snorkelling!
Can you please share your share houses ? M looking for 8 days and near to place where we can get trips.
It was just one we found on flatmates, basically an Airbnb type place. Your best bet will be to check on flatmates and air bnb if you're looking for a share house.
Do you recommend Oct or Nov for Great Barrier Reef ? Which is best time Oct end or Early Nov especially for good visibility in Great Barrier Reef ?
You'll be better off in October. Wet season starts in November, and the visibility will also get worse. 😃
Great informative video. Heading to Cairns at the end of August! Will be watching your other vids for some inspiration whilst we're there!!
Cairns is such an amazing part of the country! I've got loads of videos around there! You'll have the best time!
Great video! When you say hostel prices skyrocket during peak season when is that actually considered in cairns? Would September be included in this? Also, are the nearest beaches walkable or must be driven to?
Yeah peak season is around May - November. You would need to drive to the beaches, they vary from around 25 minutes to just over an hour drive away 😁
Can you fly a sub 250g drone around there?
@94feetphotos not anywhere in the city as it's too close to the airport, but most of the other places are far enough away to be able to fly 😃
@@JustinBainbridgeYT awesome we are planning a trip and I want to take my Mini 4 pro. Great videos.
@94feetphotos That's awesome. Yeah, Qld is really good for flying drones. You can fly them pretty much anywhere
Do you have an app that tell you where you can fly your drone in Oz??
I personally dont tend to use an app, but one a lot of people use is AirAware 😀
Double tree hotel❤
are snakes very common there ? I am planning a trip soon and I am dead scared of snakes.
To be honest, you don't really see snakes around unless you're working on a farm. There are some in the rainforests, but you'd be lucky to see one as they tend to keep away from people. I wouldn't worry if I was you! 😃

hey, if I have 5 days to spend in Cairns and also want to visit Kuranda and Port Douglas. what itinerary do you recommend?

@@JustinBainbridgeYT I think you mean Trinity Beach not Trinity Bay.
@@bobr6555 Yes! Well spotted. Trinity beach.
Cairns wonderful city. But it was better back in the 70`s and 80`s. I Loved it back then. But if your looking at Cairns to visit worth doing.
Why the hell would you go to FNQ beaches (Swamps) when you could go to West Australian gorgeous white powder beaches and stunning blue water
It's on my list to get to the beautiful WA beaches. Hopefully in 2025 🤞
can cairns be visited in Feb-March? does it have too many storms?
You can but it is very hit and miss with weather, could be fine or it could be very wet and stormy. I'd go during the dry months if possible, when it rains it pours!
What about in october?
Im crushing on you so hard 😂❤
Anyone here from cairns
