I have waited 10 years for this!!! He deserved a nod for How to Succeed in Business and The Cripple of Innishman too, but so happy he won for Merrily!!! Couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy. Met him numerous times and he’s so humble and genuine. I hope this is the first of many to come.

Honestly, I never saw any of the Harry Potter films, but I saw Merrily, and he was just amazing!! As is Jonathan and Lindsey and the whole cast! Hurry to get to see it if you can!

Daniel is overly humble, I think. I'll defer to his opinion that Jonathan Groff's song is more difficult but fast patter type songs are not easy, especially if they are Sondheim songs. The ability to sing quickly AND accurately is a skill not everyone can master.

@@Lupin788 I don’t know where you’re from, but in a standard American accent it’s typically two.
@@rob.berliner Folks might say the 2nd syllable very quickly (after a drawn out 1st syllable) but it's alway been three syllables. Just watch any Tony awards broadcast and you'll hear the word numerous times.
Now, "movie theater" is a different animal. Doesn't quite come from "théâtre."
