  • Great lil thermostat and on the cheap!
Can be used in Aquariums, Reptile Tanks, and any other thing you can think of where you want to control the power of a heating or cooling unit in order to reach your desired temperature.
Temperature probe attached that is water proof.
Timers can control the 2nd switch for something like a light.
Alarms can ring if you are outside a temperature threshold too!
It is bit of a learning curve to use if you are going right off the written instructions. Hoping this may help others out there navigating the onscreen display

I accidentally called this thermostat 'anycool' rather than 'anycontrol'. My bad!

Finally someone did an informative video on this device, the manufacturer doesn't even provide it and some of the tutorials don't explain everything, top show!

@@geekydad8565 No worries, I've literally had this device for 3 years and never knew what the L1-L2 things done and always wondering what the secondary plug was for, lol legend!

The instructions that came with it are absolutely useless! Would help if they paid for a translator to write the instructions instead of writing it in Chinglish.

Claims to be + or - 1C however mine seems to be reading 40.9 when 3 other thermometers agree it is 34.4C

Hi all, any idea how to switch the alarm off? I can see it while scrolling through main menu, but no button seems to be switching it off?

Do you know why mine doesn't allow me to go any higher than 25 degrees? When setting, if I go above 25 at all in day, night, cool, or heat, it resets to 0. Go up to 25, then it goes back to 0 again. There's a cap for some reason and I can't find out how to fix it

As far as I know there is no way to disable it, but if you take the case off, you can easily locate the buzzer module and de-solder it and remove it completely from the board.

Hi, I have the same thermostat and for the light setting is set to turn on at 8am to 6pm but for some reason it’s turning on at 1am as well. I have it set to correct current time and no matter what changes I make to the settings, it won’t turn off (it’s currently 1:43am because the damn thing turned on the lights and won’t me up. Can anyone help me on why this might be happening?

Hi What is the start and end time for the L1 setting and what is the start and end time of the L2 setting?

    • @Nao-lp6zx
      @Nao-lp6zx Год назад

@@geekydad8565 L1 is on from 8am-8pm and L2 is on from 1am to 12:59pm. I kept trying to change both L1 and L2 settings last night but it still wouldn’t turn off the uv (as in changing L2 to 8am-8pm and vice versa)

At the moment you have two timers set up and it sounds like you only want one. To disable a timer the start and end time need to be identical ie set both to 12am

@@Nao-lp6zx Unless they ship models that operate differently, the L1 and L2 for me only operates the 2nd plug ie the light. This is so you can have 2 timers for the one device. The first plug ie heater will run 24/7 and controlled based on the temperature thresholds only. This is how mine works.i disabled my L2 and heater working all the time
