- In this video Matt Story of Blessed Performance (Owner/CEO) explains to viewers exactly how to go about using HPTuners.com to get the "Stock Read File" needed to be modified by us so you have a Custom S.O.T.F. Tune. Also the same process is involved for your FICM Tuning as well. we'll be discussing the shift on a 6.0L Ford engine and how you can master it on the fly with our brew of S.T.O.F. Tuning.

Just found out that you can do this - I’m HOOKED. Trying tonight haha usually use HP tuners to tune my 2.8T Saabs
I highly recommend this man. He’s been emailing me the last few days about my tunes and is willing to make me a satisfied customer. Thank you so much bro.
Matt, brother, a bit confused. I am only purchasing 2 files the stock to have for troubleshooting and the most popular ecobeast. Do I still save the write under OS and send it to yall or can it just be saved under write copy it and send it to yall? Matt yall are the best thing that happened to our 6.0's!
Great video Matt!!! Thank you
What if my truck didn't come with the stock tune how do I license it?
I hope I can order one later this year.
Does it HAVE to be the beta, or can I use the stable version?
I only need the ficm, I'm doing sotf with sct, do I have to do the exm/tcm ones Rio, or can I just do the ficm computer? Or should I do both? Do I have to remove any ecm tunes prior, or does it not matter for the ficm?
So did you end up actually having to buy 8 credits in total? So spending 400 instead of 200? I’ve purchased a soft tune from you and am working on converting my file and finally got it to convert to soft but it won’t let me flash it on the truck because it says I need more credits? Not sure if there’s something to do that doesn’t involve another 200 bucks because I think the reason it needs more credits is because I flashed the truck with the stock tune before modifying soft like you show in the video.
Agreed, what is the answer to this?
I wonder if it made you license a second time, because you unplugged the ficm from the system by the relay, after you plugged in the mpvi3? I know it married to all systems when you license so when it didnt see the ficm anymore it must have thought it was plugged into another vehicle again so it required a new license...? Just an ides. I dont really plsy around eith the ford line up much at all so idk but i know others vehivles that have done that to me but i tried plugging the relay in again before paying for another license and it fixed it
How many credit needed total for the stick read/ lisc write, then adding the soft file. Is that 8 total credits?
It should be 8 credits yes.
@@BlessedPerformanceAwesome thank you very much.
Yes sir @@cerwin21
Thinking about switching my truck to HP
Actually I don't have the tool yet but I'm getting ready to buy
Give us a call we can make sure we are on the same page but most likely you would have to license it for your device. 1-800-577-2698
So the ficm can be tuned through hp?
@@731u.s.a5 yes we tune them every day brother
What kind of change to the truck will be noticed? I'm just a little confused. Will it run better?
This is shift on the fly tuning.
Are the 03 6.0s not supported? Ive been trying to hook to a excursion and it won't read it.
That would be a question for HP but we can help you out with SCT SOTF
It's my understanding that you don't have to have credits to read the file off the ECM play around on the laptop and also save the file but you need the credits to write to the vehicle correct?
Yes that is correct.
Does this work with the free tunes offered when purchasing a qualifying turbo/product?
We give a discount to upgrade to the sotf
I'll be calling you soon today.
@@anthonysilva5015 thank you for the opportunity
So my car has already been tuned, do i license that tune?
If the ecm is licensed through your MPVI tool then you won't need to license it again
I want one I will take the open box!! Tell me how to get it!!
Are y'all willing to do pilot injection ficm tune and PCM tune?
We can do pilot injection
Don’t do pilot
How much do you want for it will it fit on a 03 6.0 250
If you have cruise control it works great. We have it listed on our website brother
How long does it take for you to write the tunes ? all 5 tunes that is is?
Generally some time
@@BlessedPerformance a week, 2 weeks ?
@@simple4494 what tune did you order?
@@BlessedPerformance the sotf
@@simple4494 should hopefully have it done today is the goal
Let me understand. It's 500.00 for the hardware and your tuning, but another $400.00 to buy the credits needed. WTHeck!
@GearJamminHank the credits are based on HP Tuners. My time is still valuable brother man. Just the same as yours
Discounted you say
I've had Hptuners for a couple years now. Around the same time they removed all the egr mapping. But I haven't played with it last few month's. It's fun but also time consuming. Trying to just learn the basic's is tougher then just spoofing the icp Lol. But after seeing this I need to dive back in asap When did they add S.O.T.F ?
Dramatically more than spoofing icp
@@BlessedPerformancedo you guys spoof icp? When you tune the ficms or they have a atlas 40
@ianc8165 in order to achieve true PW you must spoof icp that's not in the ficm. We move the ficm map to jive with SCT-ECM tuning
@@BlessedPerformance can’t spoofing icp hide problems? I’ve heard it’s a outdated method?
