    Glad I watched this as reading the procedure I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to manually shift on the tree for the learning process. Thanks

    Thank you for the well done video you explained the info needed in a clear way I’ll share and like. When I get our channel going I’ll post a link to it. We are planning to do this too soon. Send suggestions if there is anything you want to discuss or learn about these we have experience with them and keeping them up and running good. First transmission issues we ever have had. Glad I found your video thanx man good job 👍

    After driving with my tow boss tune for a day my truck stopped going over 2k rpms, the other tunes work fine, and stock is fine. Any ideas as to what it could be?

    can you explain the Diffrence in transmission tuning and how it effects drivability i.e for towing, daily driving, and race applications. which ones best for longevity without a care for comfort or drivability?. i thoroughly enjoy the tunes i currently have on my SCT. i like it that i almost get whiplash shifts are almost instant. on my Red diamond diesel stage 3 transmission. and the tourque converter lockup is anything but weak.
    i'm in the market for new tunes to replace my warren diesel tuning from 15 years ago.
    also nice Harley truck. I got a true blue Harley truck. its my first vehicle ever. and i've owned it for 3 years now.

      @@BlessedPerformance will do for sure. appreciate the videos not alot of people talk about the 5R110W. not using 4th gear either. and how its a 6 speed. i've had my truck shift into 4th gear but it was below 0 degrees F when it did and it did it only once.

      @@justnsaliga8518 Yeah I was gonna go into detail and may some day but tried to keep this short and to the point about 4th gear.

      I,have a 2005 6.0l DRW F350 with a BD Diesel transmission and also added the BD Tapshifter when the transmission and torque converter were installed, and it is so nice having the functionality that the Tapshifter allows, especially when towing and being able to just shift into 4th gear and hold that gear as long as needed. It was well worth the price, and it also allows full or much more on the Engine braking when needed. So nice and I'm going to be going through this process again soon, as my truck has been sitting for months and batteries were dead so I disconnected and charged the batteries so will have the Tapshifter set for normal mode while doing the relearn process.

    How critical is the wide open throttle pull? The highway speeds around my place at 55 max

    • @BlessedPerformance
      @BlessedPerformance  Год назад +2

      Do you best to achieve as much as you can but even doing the majority of the process will help

    I have a 06 f350 that is has loads of engine work done and just recently blew the transmission and then I got an ats stage 2 put it and the rear end grenaded put a new one on and then on the highway just cruising it shut off and wouldn’t start. Bulled the low pressure oil pump apart and noticed it was blown so I got that fixed and it’s running good but it shifts so high. And before the pump blows again I’m wondering if I should do this. And I doubt the shop that did that transmission did this relearn procedure. Do you think it would help if it was done?

    When does it ever use 4th gear

    • @BlessedPerformance
      @BlessedPerformance  Год назад +1

      Virtually never but the strategy is designed to use 4th only in super cold situations and or when the trans is hurt

      @@BlessedPerformanceshit, trans has been fine. Recently did kak reset drove about 50 miles I did a 2nd option too something about clearing something. Idk.. Anyways was shifting ok, could tell it was relearning... Did a wot pull to pass someone and everything went haywire, then it down shifted, engine braked, now seems like it's using 4th around 45 mph. Feel different. Almost like I'm in tow haul. What did I do. 😢😢😢 115k miles excursion. 😢

    Do you offer tunning thru hp tuners?

  • @6.4DieselDoctor

    Is this the same for a 2008-2010 6.4? If so, how much are the tunes? Mine is locking up early since I added a new tune with stock trans tuning. Used ids and reflashed everything back stock then re-uploaded the tow tune (engine only) and still locks up at 40mph then overdrive at 55mph. H&S tuning and I’m not impressed with it at all. Btw, I have an x4 that I just bought and would be able to use. Thanks
