Put that thing on a good dyno that has a train brake on it. Unless you can slow the drum down with a brake system, that diesel engine will never work hard enough to give you accurate numbers.
Can’t ever tell with a mustang dyno cus they can be loaded or unloaded and if they aren’t calibrated properly they read way off. I’m sure you’re ranging from 450-500 rwhp. Nice stuff freed!
Bigger nozzles on stock injectors will cause lower fuel pressure at idle, and will cause it to run rough. You’ll want a 170cc injector if you’re going with 30% nozzles to help keep the pressure up.
the 6.0 is a great engine for someone that can turn some wrenches and spend a few bucks to keep her going. Yeah they sucked if you bought a new one and it shit the bed, you'd hate ford forever. But now theyre a great running truck whilst still being what I consider a modern diesel (as opposed to a 7.3). Yours has a ton of miles on it too, just goes to show you they last and can be a good driver even if the odometer starts with a 3 or 4

Over their service life he kept detailed spreadsheets of maintenance and repairs. The 6.0's consistently had a lower cost of ownership. I was shocked. And I'm on my second six0. They're not that bad you just have to have knowledge of them or a mechanic that understands them.

It's not even the fact favoring air flow you sacrifice valuable air velocity and heat retention that's needed to help spool the turbine and only look nice first few hours then it turns into a living hell of constantly never ending issues with exhaust leaks from warping, corrosion backpressure and in the turbo those lil vgt vains are 9 lil blow torches i'm talking yanking them on and off every weekend buying pricy special locking fasteners while spackling permatex by the pound like its baby shit glued to a diaper And dont bother trying to patch any holes in that Chinese ebay garbage sinister sells shits so thin the holes just keeps growing while using the tig If you really want more flow just port the stock manifolds with muratic acid ive seen 15-20% more volume in a few hours and $20 bucks in pool chemicals besides Diesels are fuel restricted not air restricted like a gas engine. Tubed turbo headers belong on ricers and Vin Diesel movies. sorry for the rant i love tubed manifolds as much as paying child support to my 3 baby mommas lol

And they do actually put a lot of engineering into their stuff. And I get where you’re coming from on “diesels are fuel restricted, not air restricted”. But it’s actually both, not enough air will just make useless smoke, and smoke is not more power. The complex shape of the tubed headers allow the ex gasses to flow in a way that they’ll speed up, just in greater volume because of the larger size of the tubes. There’s a reason people are using tubed headers on custom Big Rig builds. Just like a gasoline engine, more fuel and air is more power, but only at the right air fuel ratio.

They do look pretty thou, be like getting my rode hard 6.0 new tits
What was all done to it? I have a truck that looks just like yours with a few mods, and tunes from Blessed Performance. and I am looking at getting a new turbo. Just trying to figure out some numbers.

And also the FICM is important . i dont have this kind oc money thats why im running a 7.3 excursion and i love it and it gets me where i need to go everytime. 6.0 s are still awsome sounding trucks that make alot of power and can bs reliable in the right hands......
I mean ppl any like 7.3s are real reliable... and they really aren't. A bulletproofed 6.0 will be less maintenance with more hp torque and comfort over a 7.3 all day

Need to get on a loaded dyno so you can put a load on it and it will make more power. Any diesel event has a loaded dyno so they can see the real power the truck can make.
Hell yeah brotha im picking up a 6.4 soon probably gonna do the exact thing. Tune exhaust (annoying 6.4shit) and injectors. You can make alot of power on the stock compounds too

I will keep my 6.0 stock with the head studs. And the bullet proof upgrades it pulls a 30` gooseneck flatbed 90 percent of the time. It was meant for pulling as it has 4.30`s gears not a trucking for cruising.
A little....but this engine can do that power at lower rpms and can do it all day pulling something.....if you tried to max out your engine for hrs, you'd have issues
