The 35mm sigma is really nice, tried a friends and really liked it. It gives a different bokeh go the sony, not sure whether that’s down to optics or the blades inside. But both lenses are very nice. Extra bit of light also with the 1.4 but 1.4 is so damn shallow. But i own the sony and i’m personally very happy with it. Never let me down. There’s no right or wrong in my eyes!
I have the samyang 45mm f1.8 which is a great little lens with character. Similar enough to not have a 35mm prime unless it was say the sigma 35mm 1.2. Also have the 24mm GM
This was great I shoot canon but I have the a6100 also I would like too start using it was looking for a good lens I like prime lens that’s all i use with my canon.
The 35mm in general is a great focal length. I used it for a full shoot yesterday and didn’t need anything else. Yeah, sometimes you need more range but for most things, i think it’s great. Something to be aware of though. On an a6100 it won’t be a true 35mm due to the sensor size. It would actually look like a 55mm. Thanks for the comment!
