This movie holds a dear place to me because the creator also did one of my favorite shows as a kid "El tigre: the adventures of Manny Rivera". You can even see the main characters at the start of the story as background characters.

This movie still holds a special place in my heart to this day, such a beautiful story about the Day of the Dead, the colors, character designs and all are amazing and to see that this was my hero's first movie, he's gotta do more. Jorge Gutierrez same guy who created El Tigre on Nickelodeon and Maya and the Three on Netflix.

After i watched the movie the book of life for the first time after manolo died and he reached the afterlife in the land of the remembered and got to meet his deceased family members I've imagined that when people pass away the first people they meet when they reach the afterlife are their deceased family members I know its sad when people die but at least they are reunited with their deceased family members in the afterlife
