Pennsylvania recently became legal for OTF’s - and I now have 18 Microtech’s - mostly the newer OTF’s and 3 folders… I will be adding multiple versions of the new Ultratech and the Atreus - my daily carry was my first Ultratech I bought last year, an orange apocalyptic Tanto - can’t wait for natural clear Tanto Ultratech’s with dual fuel, the new pocket clip and glass breaker and the zero blade play system. Brilliant work from Microtech!

I carried my ots auto for 30 years. At 30 years that would be about 16 times a day. I’m sure when I first got it it was more than that. I open and close my shoot out every morning and evening at least 2 times each.

Love Microtech, but $1500 is way too much for that

Jason you know the ultratech is not the typical size I like but I think I’m definitely going to have to try one out to check out this “Zero Blade Play!”

At first I thought the ultratech was too small but when I actually measured the cutting edge, it was very similar to my paramilitary 2 and this knife is in such a small form factor that it just disappears in your pocket

The livewire woke them up out of their money coma. I destroyed my microtech using thermite. Gotta burn the trash somehow

Nobody cares about the crud cutter imo its totally unnecessary and a distraction from the no blade play which is the big thing and hes not convincing me. He said theres a few companys when really only the g and g hawk deadlock locks up soild as far as I know...?

On the ultratech other than the front, the button is where a lot of dirt accumulates. The thing is though when I dropped my ultratech on the ground in a sandy area, some sand grains got in through the blade opening and it made the knife misfire and not work properly until I cleaned it. If the zero play makes it so that the tolerances of the blade are so tight that sand and other dirt can’t even get into the rails then it would be a game changer
