Yes they are. We are lucky to live and work in this area of the country, makes the urban deliveries we have to do much more bearable. Thank you for commenting.
Merge in turn works smoothly when the police are right there!! Always more disappointing when "your people" make getting on the motorway more difficult and dangerous. Those "smart" motorways with no breakdown lanes look so dangerous...vehicles breakdown and there is nowhere for them to get off the travel lanes. Amazing how a little bit of patience by one person makes the traffic flow easily for everyone. Cool waterwheel!! You went through some pretty towns and countryside with some sweet rides at the end! Have a great week!
Hello there, those Smart motorways are not very smart and I'm certainly no supporter of them, a cheap and dangerous 'fix' for traffic congestion. That cool waterwheel was still working only a few years ago and stands in the small village of Cromford which is home to the world's first successful water powered cotton spinning mill. (1771, I think) A new waterwheel has just been installed at the mill itself costing around half a million pounds, but it now produces some of the electricity for the old mill. Hoping to show a bit more of our local area now and again to give folks a sense of what it's like here. Have a pleasant weekend.

The amazing thing is that it had to be hard wired, so after returning from work to find it had been delivered and seeing the confusing instructions I thought I'd get it done the next weekend as I had not had an accident in many years. Of course next morning I was involved in a crash as an Asian woman heading towards me on a main road just headed straight at me, just gradually at a shallow angle. I swerved the truck off the road as she disappeared under my steering wheel. There then followed a three year battle before she finally admitted all responsibility for the accident. This was the day before our court date, which she had kept getting postponed over and over. Thank you for your comments both interim and otherwise Graham. Not sure how you could say that about British bikes, I thought they never went wrong! 😉😂🤣🤣
@@cloudmaker Having had many British bikes in the family over the years, I can agree with that. 👍🏼
You always knew when it's time for an oil change... when they stop dripping... 🤣🤣

Amazing...... criticise cars for passing on the lefft but 3 bikes do it and nothing from you !!!!!!
I can only say well spotted, good observations there, and yes you were right when I looked back at it. 👍
I would have stayed where i was, you should know how to filter. The slip road is plenty long enough to achieve a merge. If he had moved over you would have probably laft him hanging.
The hysterical trucker strikes again. Tipper drivers, motorcycles and taxi..... the worst drivers on the roads
Ah no I'm not one to leave other drivers hanging I have many clips showing how to let other vehicles in easily. Ah you seem to have missed out car drivers on that list. 🤔😉😁😁 I wonder how you managed to miss that group? Thank you for the comment.
