I highly suggest it to anyone looking for a good chorus. Definitely check your power supply before purchasing to make sure u can power 18v at 300mA

Recently picked up an Atom after convincing myself I needed an ODR-1 type pedal in my arsenal. I find the whole range on the knobs super usable but I dig it best with the drive set around 10 o’clock and boost the level. It really helps a tube amp feel more alive if you’re in a situation where you can’t set the volume where you’d like. The Atom has also been great for fattening up single coil tones, especially on a tele. I can see why the ODR has become a staple of Nashville. Great video fellas, cheers!

DP is on fire in this one! 🔥
    All pedals sounded very nice.
To me, the JA Sears pedal had the most character, definitely it’s own thing. Seems like good value for money too.
The Atom sounded nice, not sure what makes it different from a Nobels but you gotta love that Nobels ODR low mid girth for chords.
The Greer sounded a bit sterile/80’s at first but when compared to the Atom it actually sounded a lot more clear and three dimensional.
    Anyways, thanks for the entertainment.

ODR-1 is associated with Nashville because of Tom Bukovac. He loves it and has apparently evangelized the shit out of it over the years. It's literally because of him almost single handedly that it has the reputation of being this Nashville session guy favorite.

The Silvertone amps were like a step below the Valco and Supro amps. All those amps were okay, until they went solid-state. At the time that happened there weren't a lot of pedals to get that Drive back. I was in just that situation for a few years. No Fun! However, they old tube ones were rediscovered and prized by collectors, almost like boutique amps, but so are Silvertone & Harmony guitars.

  • @larrydj549
