These cars are so underrated. By the time Vauxhall made the D model they had nailed the handling and they outsold the Fiesta of the equivalent generation.
The petrol engine needs regular oil changes as they suffer with timing chain issues if you operate high mileages between services.
They are spacious and the dash layout is spot on. Much less of a mess with sharp angles everywhere with knobs and switches, deformed to achieve form over function like the equivalent fiesta dash.
It runs Delphi electronics which are reliable and the plastic are of a high quality. They don’t crack and have bits brake off when disassembling. If you tinker and repair you will appreciate this fact.

    Great video!!
It would be super helpful if you could provide purchase price, expenses and estimated sale price like you did in your previous videos.

Been watching your videos for a little while now bro and have learnt a lot 👍🏼. How did you bring the car back from the auction site if it didn't have any MOT? Didn't think trade plates covered that? Keep up the good work 👍🏼

I have always serviced, cleaned and valeted myself to keep costs down.
I try and buy stuff with a minimum 9 months MOT again to keep the costs down (not always possible). Buying blind is also a no no for me. Need to see a car in the flesh to get a feel for it......plus i don't trust BCA much with this stupid online only bidding.

Surely you can't retail that car in that state rust coming through and that much damage and make a profit after expenses on it, cars probably worth 1k max

How can you drive the car without MOT? As far as I know you can not drive a car without it. Can someone explain it to me?
