I finally found the game I used to play about 22 years ago! Makeruna! Makendou 2 (7:53)! You put the exact same character with the exact same theme song I know by heart since I was 7 and I still hum around. I'm so thrilled!
I miss so much the era of the fighting games in the 90's. It was so damn fun, so fun. I remember getting the Japanese version of Ranma 1/2, and YuYu Hakusho, which I don't ever think came to the States. I still have them lol.

I only saw two games made in 1996. UMK3 and SFA2. And SFA2 was a masterpiece considering the SNES limitations. Makes me wonder if the right developers could've continued making decent ports of 2D fighting games on SNES hadn't not it be discontinued.
They got few Bootleg *X-Men Vs Street Fighter* and King of Fighters 2000 can only play a physical copy because the roms are copy right blocked ... no idea how they got away with doing that ? but yeah it looks just like Street Fighter Alpha 2 ..
Damnit. I remember years ago I somehow played this game. I believe it was intended to be semi-realistic in theme, and it was centered around a tournament for the arcade mode but there was some kind of single player where I was running around fighting some kind of military men. I think it might have been Japan exclusive. Again I think it had only realistic moves, naturally there was some karate, tae kwon doe etc. but I believe you could build your own character, and there was a wrestler who had a side kick. It wasn't best of the best, and the artstyle was somewhat realistic/anime. Perhaps it was a romhack or something. Sadly I don't think it was in here.

Personally... I'd massively separate the genres of 1v1 Fighting games from Wrestling games from Boxing games... 3 different videos. Or, at the very least, separate Fighters from Wrestling/Sports 🤷♂️

I remember the ninja was OP as hell. he was either green or orange and would have a special where he would shift then cut you. if anyone can find this game that'd be a miracle.

Sporting games are a great trash hahahaha ( boxe, wrestling, sumo). Generic "Street Fighters" is so shit hahahaha ( except some games like a ninja turtles, gundam, etc). there are random things like shaq fu, Bruce Lee, Primal Rage, Ball Z 3D and other dubious gameplay games. despite everything the super Nintendo had excellent fighting games like the legendary and consecrated mortal Kombat and Street fighter (other generic games were also very good as Killer Instinct and their "Fatality").
