The fact that child protective services showed up a day before and left the kids in the home says everything you need to know about child protection services.
I mean people who abuse their kids will go to lengths to avoid getting them taken away. They could have power cleaned the house the day before. YES the system is broken, but it's not always their fault.
7:52 "Maybe *put up* your drug paraphernalia." (And by "put up," I think the cop means "put up for sale" the paraphernalia - in order to make extra money?) I think this is further supported by her response....as the woman responds to him suggesting she "put up the paraphernalia," by saying: "it's not mine." The objects not belonging to her would not affect her ability to "put them away," but the objects belonging to someone else would _definitely_ affect her ability to "put them up for sale" and sell them.
the way she can’t take responsibility for a single thing they point out and always places the blame on someone/something else, including her own kids, is horrifying
Yea like the cockroaches and the feces on the wall, but don’t worry, she was gonna take care of that 🤦🏻♀️ I just wanna know how feces get on a wall 🧐😳😫🙄🫣

The fact that she was inside the house listening to those horrible screams from the kids and just straight up ignore them tells you everything you need to know about this ‘mother’
she's likely suffering from mental health conditions as no sane human lives like that. From the way she's speaking she needs serious mental help and rehab and her children need a decent living environment in their lives. That shit's traumatic.
@prideorhonesty6242 hmmm. Ignoring things even if our brains do it naturally isnt always the best thing. It might be how she gets by, but it also seems she needs a lot of help beyond just a little house cleaning. Life can be rough, but it doesnt have to be chaos.

Yep, If I have so little, I will take care of it 10 times more. The state of the building itself (like the walls, doors etc.) may be out of my control, but keeping the things I have clean is free.
Handicapped vet, on hudvash, clean my house and yards, have had neighbors like this...trash the house, give everyone rats and roaches, and when they move, it's like a rat bomb
My husband and I were licensed foster parents for three years. We took in emergency placements like this in the middle of the night. The damage neglect does to children is heartbreaking. We adopted our last placement - a baby boy from the NICU born to a woman who used drugs and drank throughout the pregnancy that ended prematurely at 28 weeks. Our son was taken c-section due to active herpes. We couldn’t take the emotional toll of it all. My heart breaks for these little ones.
I plan to do something similar when I grow up: I have a fear of being pregnant and anything growing in my body but I know at some points I want kids and there’s tons of kids in situations like this that need help! You’re doing amazing work and I look up to you for it!
@@itscc2004I had only one child, but the pregnancy was quite awful, leaving me with permanent health issues. I knew someone else who ended up with permanent depression, and someone else who had to be sectioned for a whole year. So, yes, pregnancy can be very traumatic and damaging. But to adopt and foster is a marvellous thing to do, to be there to give needy children a good, steady, safe environment. My neighbour has fostered children for many years, taking on all the most difficult cases, treating them with patience and kindness no matter the difficulties they present. She's retiring from fostering this year, due to personal health issues, but she has been an excellent mum to many children over the decades.
I've been around many, many young children. I've never heard a child cry like that. The only way I could imagine a young child crying this way is if all of their cries, whether it be for food, a clean diaper, love and attention, have been ignored for so long that they become desperate and terrified. A child that young wouldn't understand or know how to handle this sort of situation. They no longer cry because they're hungry, thirsty, etc. They SCREAM because they are terrified and don't know what else to do. My heart hurts for these little ones.
They don't care. Often they make things worse and still carry an air of superiority about themselves as if they're saving kids. Never seen anyone be helped by cps, only harmed or ignored.
I wouldn't be surprised if that was just her version of events. (Or at least, I certainly hope that was the case!) The fact the children weren't taken out of that death trap straight away is appalling though.
@@TerminalNostalgiasadly, there just aren’t enough homes available to place these children. They can’t remove them if there’s no where for them to go. Sad situation all around.
I was raised exactly like this and watching this completely broke me. I didn’t get the luck of getting out before I was 18, and I’m beyond grateful those babies have been taken out and hopefully will get a better opportunity and grow up so much safer than I did. I have no doubts the parents loved them, my mom did too, but when it comes to addiction it always takes over the responsibility of a parent. It ruins everything. I hope they’ll grow up safely and maybe one day if their parents become clean that they’ll be able to safely meet them again and fully understand. and if not, that’s okay too. I would understand that as well. I’m just wishing the best for these babies.
Same here around drugs and roaches basically had to raise myself and seeing this was heartbreaking really makes you realize how much you block out of your memory but not living that way any more god bless and keep striving
Sorry for you... ☹️☹️ stay strong, and move forward👍👍 Though I grew up in a poor country, in a lower middle class family, I along with my siblings was taken care of by my parents to the best they could afford to. We didn't have toys, nice clothes, or a big house, but we lived in a clean house with supervision by our mom 24x7.
Shoutout to those neighbors for calling the police if you see or hear something say something!!! Children need our love and attention even if they aren’t ours.
My child is autistic and can have quite bad screaming fits, I had new neighbours move in next door and during one of his meltdowns they called the cops thinking i was mistreating him, I was so mad with them at the time but after I calmed down then i agreed its always better to be safe then sorry when it comes to kids. I let the cops in to see my child was fine and his surroundings and thrn they left so all turned out fine.
@Candice I would feel grateful that they were watching out for your kid's welfare. Having neighbors that are willing to do step up for your child is a good thing. It takes more than parents to keep our children safe these days. It takes a whole village.
Imagine being such a freaking mess that you claim your 1 and 2 year old kids were "just playing" at 1.30 AM... And that's just the tip of the iceberg. What a disaster, those poor babies.
Honestly, I feel bad for everyone involved. No one plans for their life to end up like this. I'm not excusing the parents, but this is a pretty clear case of addiction completely destroying lives. The rut that these people have gotten themselves into is so deep, it has to be humiliating.
@@yeahreally9185 Yeah the governor is one of those restrict womens choices as much as possible. Hes even on board with SCOTUS trying to shut down contraception
Fucking heartbreaking. That wasn't a normal childs cry. That was a traumatized scream for help. God help these kids and the people who surround them. 🙏🏼
Their neighbors saved those kids lives. Reminder to stay vigilant, if you see kids in distress don’t be afraid to reach out and ask if everything is alright. And if you know something is off, call it in. Just because it’s not your kid, they could still use your help.
This and the Turpin case make me wish I had the courage to say something to authorities about the conditions my parents had me and my two younger siblings living in when I was younger. To this day my parents live in a gross hoarder/smoker household and refuse to believe anything is wrong with the way they live. My mother takes great offense to me saying I had a bad childhood stating she did the best she could. It's a shame how often cases like these go unreported. Thanks again for the excellent reporting.
I was a poor little girl in WV and my father only made 11,000 a year in the early 2000s with a family of 4. My mother and father kept us clean, fed, and happy. This is inexcusable. Love is the difference.
Drugs are the difference, not love. These are addicts. I fully believe they love their children, but their abuse going to kill their kids eventually or themselves
@@genxtech5584love supersedes addiction, I’m not saying love cures your addictions but I know plenty of people who were knee deep in booze who still provided for and loved their children, no amount of drugs makes this acceptable, stop trying to reason away your shitty childhood it helps no one, your parents didn’t neglect you because of drugs, the did it because drugs were more important and they didn’t love you.
I can absolutely state w 1,000,000% certainty that this child is hurting, and being abused. I as a child remember screaming the same way when I was being abused in every way a child can be abused.
It hurts scrolling through comments of videos about abuse, and seeing a lot of people who actually went through similar things, I really hope you're feeling at least a little better now.
So I've delivered pizza before and I can honestly say that seeing some the environments kids are in it's absolutely heart breaking. They could be in a complete mess of a home and they'd run to the door with smiles just to say hi. Their innocent and don't understand until it can be too late.
Your comment broke me. I think many of us try not to think of the horrors on this world because taking it all on would crush us to the point we couldn't even function. Damn..why do people do this?!?!?!?
Not to sound judgy or anything.. or insult you..... I would put in a complaint so CPS if I saw homes like this and children living in it. Just my thoughts.
One time I was cleaning I have six babies and I ordered pizza for dinner to make it easy on my self I had a towel over my shoulder my hair was a mess and I was in the middle of washing crayon of my wall and sweating my butt off when I answered the door I had the baby in her carrier on my chest and five little boogers swarming my legs the lovely women who answered die a double take at all the excited hellos and grinned ear to ear and said your doing great momma let me tell you it made my day she later did a sneaky drive by delivery of a couple lava cakes and a salad and a note that said thank you ma'am for being the most beautiful soul I've seen on my deliveries your babies are blessings but blessed to have you too. Ps don't share the lava cake ;). I was feeling so wore out and upset and I looked like I got hit by 2 trucks I swear and the kindness and little gesture made me so dang energized my mood went from gee I'm done with today to I think I'll stay up late and treat myself.... @@daviddorthy8906 Your story brought a big smile to me and it sounds like you were a really busy Mom and nothing like what was seen on video. I had 4 children under the age of 9 and that kept me busy with 2 at school and 1 toddler and a new born baby. I suffered postpartum depression and survived. My children were immaculately clean and so was their home. To me there was no excuse for their home except laziness and not taking conception.
I was proud of the way the Police Officer handled the situation. He stayed calm, cool, but very direct & matter of fact. Thank you sir, for your service to those kids!
As a DCS worker. No children would have been left in that environment. That momma was lying through her teeth. I see a women with severe post partum depression and i hope she has gotten the help she needs.
My wife dealt with post partum depression after our 4th and final child. For you to claim it explains this to any degree whatsoever is actually insulting to women who deal with it. Having your kids live in literal trash infested with cockroaches and drug paraphernalia laying around everywhere is not post partum depression. It's just neglect and abuse. There's no excuse to this. It's criminal.
Considering how many times CPS has failed children and left them to stay in abusive/neglectful homes, it checks out. I 100% believe an agent came over and said "Yup, good enough" and left
Hearing that baby screaming is so heartbreaking! And she had a week old newborn! Thank you to the police officers that took this seriously. The one guy said he didn't have kids but he knew when diapers need changed! Those poor babies probably have not been bathed in weeks.
It is. ❤️ and they're just happily doing their drugs or whatever they're doing, they don't seem bothered by the fact that their children are in distress. The cop pointed out the bugs and she said what she supposed to do and he said put away your drug paraphernalia. Gosh, I really hope the kids are put somewhere safe until they can learn how to be parents. If that's possible.
Unfortunately, it sounds like the cops are doing their job but the DA or whoever isn’t. Just letting them get away with abusing these very young children. Hopefully they don’t have physical custody of them again.
These poor babies crying just break my heart. That mother better not get her kids back. Anyone that lived like this, be strong, there’s hope for you, you’re in my prayers.
You have no rights to dictate or take away someone’s chance of seeing their children again. Do you think this is Switzerland or some Nordic country?! Most kids that go into foster care system in the US doesn’t come out happy and many get abused or mistreated. These two are drug addicts. Sure they’re neglecting these children but people do deserve second chances, and you saying they never get chances to see they’d kids?! WTF?? People like you exist so that’s why dysfunctional society exists. People are allowed to make mistakes and recover from it and not get punished forever for it. You are absolutely incorrect to say “hope these parents never see these kids again”. Not your decision to make. Rehabilitation is a part of well functioning society. How entitled are you?
“I’m doing the best I can” I heard that all the time growing up, and I absolutely hate it when parents say that, because most of the time it’s never the truth. Doing the best you can doesn’t result into this mess.
I grew up like this, no one ever noticed. No one ever helped. I promised I’d never have children until I could heal from this trauma. Seeing this breaks me, I’m so happy they got help.
Grew up the same way, except for being lucky enough to have a father that truly loved and cared for us. That last part about the husband filing a missing person's report on the wife is exactly how my dad found my mom on a boat with another man. She had been trying to leave us for longer periods of time until we became desensitized to it, and finally decided to take her chance at leaving us for good. She had everyone fooled, always playing the victim. I can't wait for the day she needs her sons to take care of her, and we'll be nowhere to be found
I was raised by a mother who didn't want us. The thing that infuriates me the most in this video is how the parents continually blame others for the conditions and deflect responsibility. The whole victim mentality here just pisses me off. I pray for a better life for those children.
The mother even blames the children themselves for the living conditions. Anyone who's grown up in an abusive home recognizes this behaviour. We've been there.
I also had a mother who didn't want us. She was traumatized by my abusive father and couldn't bond with us from birth. It really has a lot to do with mental health but they call it "child protective services" for a reason. There needs to be people there protecting the child and letting the parent handle their issues separately.
@@tamaraparrish7311 It doesn't matter what the parent is going through or has been through; if the child is being mistreated, someone needs to intervene.
This woman is under so much pressure, we can feel IT. 3 babies. Just delivered, no money, drugs, booze, mental health issues. Her fiancé well.........not much support from him. Poor kids
She literally just gave birth less than a week ago. It sounds like she may have had a C-Section. She shouldn’t have been expected to be caring for all those children alone after a major abdominal surgery. Yes, the neglect was real and the place was a trash pit. That’s awful. But, clearly, this woman needed way more support from family and/or social services/post-partum nursing care at home than she was getting. Poor kids. Poor woman. It’s a shitty situation.
The worst part, is this person probably actually sees nothing wrong with what they've done and how they live. My own mother denys my shitty childhood, to this day.
I'm sorry that your mother doesn't take accountability. My mother that I call my birth mother, was the very same way. I tolerated her toxic Behavior in childhood and then even when I was an adult. I put up with it for a while and then one day I just said enough is enough. I never talked to her again. Sometimes it's for the best. Or you can try to give her boundaries. My BM couldn't handle foundries so that was that. I wish you all the best.
this person is probably very mentally ill. They shouldn't be having kids in this condition for sure but the fact that she doesn't immidiately try to manipulate and lie to the cops even if she's being hella negligent tells me that she needs a lot of mental help and rehab. That's no way to raise kids.
as a victim of child neglect this chills me to my core. I can't stand to hear/see those poor kids in these conditions, HUGE thank you to the officers who saved those children.
I’m so sorry you went through that. I’ll never wrap my head around how anyone could abuse or neglect a child and hear them screaming and crying. It chills me to the bone. They always get off on small charges too. These are the first people that SHOULD have the book thrown at them. If you can do this to a child, you’re capable of anything.
As another child of neglect, I can’t help but see my mom in this woman. She’s clearly very unwell. I hope that child doesn’t grow up with the conflicting feelings that I had: she’s sick, so can I forgive her? Does she deserve it? If she was sick, and she knew it, why did she have kids?
i dont know why do people like this even think of becoming parents if they dont want to take care of their children just dont have kids if you cant take care of them or atleast give them to social services why this cruelty.
I was removed from a home just like this as a 3/4 year old. Was also found in a car alone at night by a police officer. I’ll never know their names and their faces are fuzzy, both those officers will always be in my heart. When home wasn’t safe, that uniform was.
Please, communicate that to your parents. Don't just assume they know, please take the time to sit them down and tell them how grateful you are and what specifically you're grateful for. Trust me, they will appreciate it so much.
The only thing about my parents was that they lied sometimes but they were the best parents I could have asked for-even though they are a little strict.
Yeah I acted out a lot when I was a kid and young teenager. I thought my parents weren't fair, too strick and too aggressive with their discipline. Even if that were all true, they still loved me and took good care of me and my 6 other siblings.
No! They are back with "mama" it was only a "misdemeanour" and anyway, they were that night taken into the @care" of the aunt - hopefully not the aunt that "trashed the place"🤬
Right? It wasn’t children crying because they’re children and they do that. They were SCREAMING. That ain’t normal. Especially considering lots of people called this in
“You’re bringing lives into this world when you can’t take care of the ones you have right now” - police officer. Thank you, officers! I still don’t understand these people who continue to have children when they clearly couldn’t raise them in a happy and healthy environment.
@Patricia Hopkins you obviously don't know how people game the system to get additional benefits. They have that many kids and are not married. There's a reason for that.
What’s scary is that there’s a huge possibility she’s going to regain custody of her children and just repeate the cycle. People like her don’t change.
As a former foster parent, I would get calls in the middle of the night asking if I could take in endangered children like this in emergency situations. I weep for these precious innocents. 💔
This is absolutely disgusting. However: If this couple needs help cleaning the house, what good is arresting them? There’s no government agency to help you. But there is one to arrest you for not getting help.
How come you never see a doctor In the interrogation room for manslaughter? after he performed an abortion. Tell your shitty story to a doctor who does abortions, How terrifying and heartbreaking this is.
Bless him? He said “you’re going to damage my car as she hits her head on the glass. She needed help not jail. Breastfeeding makes you drowsy the first month or two. He wouldn’t know that because as he stated, he’s not a parent. Drug paraphernalia was probably rolling papers & they separated thst family instead of helping them find resources to make thrift living conditions better. This is where defund the police would be beneficial because there could have been a counselor sent out to talk to her. This is heartbreaking all around. I hope someone lifts them up! ♥️
As a mom to a one-year-old, I can confirm that babies and toddlers are loud and vocal. But that is BEYOND normal vocalization for a kiddo. That is major distress. Thank you so much, officers, for helping those kids out of there! My heart just shattered hearing the scream of 'Mommy!' with no response from her...
I have a 2yo that screams at the top of his lungs if something displeases him, and it can be something as simple as his 7yo brother looking at him wrong. But they don't generally wail and scream for extended periods of time, as its exhausting and draining. Generally, once they get your attention, they settle. To continue like that is not right, they've been neglected and ignored...
Seriously. Just hearing that little baby scream like that brought me a lot of distress. how can people hear that and not want to comfort and cuddle a kid. Man, my nephew will slightly cry, and my brother and I are right there to check what's up.
I have a three year old and a 5 month old and been around lots of kids. I have never heard such a gut wrenching cry from a child. I'm heart broken for them.
This is a blessing in disguise for the whole family because no one should be living in a house like that. The police are just looking out for the kids which is great. Otherwise those poor kids would have still been living in those conditions.
Children scream like that when their needs aren't being met. I had a two year old student who would scream at the top of his lungs if his needs weren't being met right away. He was louder than the children in this video. Turned out the reason he'd been taken by DCF was because his mom had kept him in a baby stroller for the first year of his life, and she never let him leave this stroller. Not only were his joints undeveloped, but he hadn't been given any love or care during that time. So heartbreaking.
My mother raised us 3 children single as my father passed away 6 months before I was born. We NEVER WENT HUNGRY, yet my mother would still help some of our neighbors with food for their children. This mother must be sterilized and also lose custody of her children.

I hope these kids get away from her and the father and end up in a place where none of this is happening- all kids deserve a parent but not all parents deserve kids.
she is obviously very ill. She needs help. The kids should be taken regardless and hopefully to a better home because knowing the system how it is, its unlikely their placement home can be much better.
Right? She brought those kids into the world, they didn't ask to be born. She could of asked for help instead of putting them through neglect like that the screams where horrifying. Poor angels
I'm not making excuses for her but seems she might be suffering from postpartum. Also bet she doesn't even wanna be with him but she is stuck. Probably why she tried to run (her going missing)
The thing that disturbs me the most is that she’s become used to the bloodcurdling screams we’re hearing here. If my child ever screamed like that, which she never has, I’d be calling a fucking swat team.
There is a difference between a child being mad about going to bed and then there is this which is horrible especially if it goes on until 1:30 in the morning

Not debating that this conditions were unacceptable and unsafe especially for babies. ….We had cockroaches everywhere as they kept entering via drains from near by mine. My parents tried everything for years and even when they got rid of the roaches they came back in. One day after having them all over for over 5 years we have found the nicotine based poison which was not known in my country until that time and it worked and finally we got rid of them. Beside this I was not neglected and generally speaking my parents tried hard to manage to look after us with very little money. I feel this woman needed help to come and handle the kids so she can rest.
Yeah, I have a 2 yr old, and I heard 'trapped' clear as day. The messed-up part is that's language that is learned. That toddler understands what trapped feels like
"I don't know, maybe put up your drug paraphernalia?" This officer was calm, straight forward and not allowing her to play that victim card she so desperately wanted him to go for. What a despicable woman to try and "oh woe is me" when her situation is her doing. Those kids would have been better off abandoned at the fire department than to have ever spent one minute in her presence.
I am poor and i live in a small trailer with my mother and one of my brothers. When i was younger one of my other brothers lived with us. No matter how poor we have been, my mother has tried her hardest to feed us, take care of us, get clothes for us, keep the house clean, everything. She'll spend all of the money she has to keep us in good shape. Its crazy to me that parents will be so selfish.
My heart breaks for these children. Just....how do you bring your newborn home to a garbage dump with bugs? I pray these babies are safe, clean, healthy and loved now
When my son was a baby we moved into a low income apartment. It had roaches. I immediately demanded that the manager spray. Then I laid down roach gel, powder & kept the apartment sanitized & clean. Got rid of the bugs so my baby wouldn't be in that environment. It can be done. There are no excuses.✔
I knew a couple like this that had a baby daughter that they clearly neglected. She was two months old and weighed five pounds. They were strung out on pain meds all the time. I just straight up asked them if I could take her home with me and she ended up living with me for the next 18 months. I tried to adopt her but it fell through and they moved out of the state. I found out they had three more kids after they left and they were all taken away at the hospital for several months bc the mom always tested positive for drugs:/ then she died of an overdose not too long ago. I'll always remember and miss "my" little girl.
That sounds horrible. I'm glad you could at least help that small child for those 18 months, very responsible of you. I hope all of those kids are in a better place now, and it's going to sound rough but i think it's better for the kids that the "mother" is not here anymore...
Thank you for rescuing that baby. I had the same story, at 2 months old I weighed 6lbs and was on the verge of death. I had 2 older half siblings aged 4 and 6. The 6 year old saved my life by going to school filthy and malnourished it prompted a social worker visit to the house. I had pneumonia, a severe and dangerous diaper rash, I was dehydrated and stopped breathing, they called an ambulance and I was revived 3 times in the hospital. Then all 3 of us were put in foster care and the father of my siblings came and got them from out of state. I was just passed from foster home to foster home. I have emotional problems and health problems my whole life. But at least I survived. My mother, as far as I was told, was not on drugs during that 2 months after I was born, she was simply impoverished and had severe depression and mental health issues and all she did was lay on the couch and smoke cigarettes next to me. The older two had to feed and take care of themselves. It was so sad and of course when parents know they are neglecting their babies they don't take them to the dr for fear they'll get caught, the kids removed, and possibly in trouble. So they never seek help. It makes me angry thinking about it. She knew she had mental health issues and incapable of taking care of 3 kids but was too selfish to give us up because she was getting welfare for all 3 of us. I would've died had I not been rescued that day and she wouldn't have ever notified anyone just kept collecting welfare. She had another child 2 years after me she raised and he turned out a horrible useless raging alcoholic and pot addict who had nothing to do with the 3 babies he fathered. I'm just thankful I finally ended up adopted at age 5 by good people. Did you ever notify social services about what was going on? No child should have been put back in their care.
you know as a foster child i know you’re probably the best thing that’s ever happened to her. whoever takes care of her now will be through government and hopefully if the effects of that don’t ruin her life some nasty old man in the system will. you should have fought harder if she was really your little girl, you let her down.
As mad as I am at the so called parents I’m even madder at the court system. Going from 3 felonies down to a misdemeanor is a joke and is a reason this stuff never gets better…
That's what is wrong with our court system. These officers did everything right, then some blatant stupid ass judge let's them off. That's why you should ALWAYS vote NO at voting time when you are asked if you should retain judge so and so. They leave them in office too dang long!

Hell, in their drugged out states of mind they probably didn't even realize how much hey they were neglecting them, and actually believed they were doing right by the children. what we see as a society as fair justice and what the law sees as fair justice are not always the same thing. but it has to be applied the same to everyone equally. Intent is much harder to prove. And had they wen to court and went after the felony charge without the proof of intent they would have lost the case, they wouldn't have been able to charge them again, and the children would have been released back into their custody. Is that what you really want to have happened? And while i agree that the sentence that the judge handed down was to lenient, we also have to take into consideration that we don't know if there were any added on conditions. such as drug rehab, parenting classes, etc. We also know that misdemeanors don't carry long sentences. that's just a fact of life. we don't don't know theand while we don't current welfare of the children, we do know they weren't returned to the family. that would be in the records and would be public information. so pray that whereever they landed is a mach beter and safer place than where they were. keep in mind, that most drug/alcohol addicts become that way because they are trying to cope with some kind demons of their own. and that addiction takes them away from that pain they are feeling. i'm praying that since the children were placed with other family members that what they were trying to run from didn't tart from within the family. i pray for the safety of the children and not worry about the what or what not we feel the courts should have done. Karma will eventually catch up to those wo and her justice is will not be kind o hem. But the children are innocents.. they need our prayers.
Yep. How can a court read those reports, possibly see the footage that we just saw then allows 3 felonies to be taken down to 1 misdemeanor?!? The system is a joke. Sadly they only seem to care and take full action when a child gets severely injured or dies. Shame on those parents and the state. This was heartbreaking...
@@tammiemartinez6485 And what exactly did we see? did we actually see any cockroaches? did we see the filthy diapers? we saw a junkyard for a lawn, and a filthy house. and heard the police talking about stuff. Now just to clarify something i do NOT agree with their sentences. i was just wondering what you actually saw as opposed to heard a police officer say he was seeing.. bc i didn't see anything besides what i mentioned.

Those officers were a lot nicer than I would've been. I was extremely poor with 4 children aged 1, 2, 3 and 4 at the time. They ate and IF there was anything left I did. Their clothes weren't that great but I sewed any holes and they were clean. And they were bathed daily. There's no excuse!!!
I’m so glad they both got arrested for this. It’s so disgusting and I’m craving so hard to even watch this. Makes me cry so hard bc I was once in the same exact situation those poor babies were in. I feel for those babies. Heartbreaking.
And the sad thing is that there is no safe way to stop the people like this from having children because no government can truly be trusted with control over who can and cannot procreate.
I’m 100% applauding everyone in the comments section who are heavily protesting against the blatant negligence and severe lack of even remotely decent childcare from BOTH of these so-called “parents” your hearts are all absolutely in the right place!👍
Heartbreaking is, unfortunately, the right word for this incident, @jenniferfrazierlpc7171! Divine Justice, however, will take care of these two monsters in this life and the next!
@@lizardking5210they’re not just thirsty. That may have played a part in it but babies have no objective permanence. They’re mother locked them in a room and blatantly ignored them, long enough for the neighbors to hear and call due to concern for the baby’s safety. They’re diapers had literal sand in there to dry up the poop and pee. This was purposefully neglectful and malicious and it pisses me off that these two got out of their three felonies.
It was saddening and sickening. I wonder who looked after the two kids while the Mother was in the Hospital having another baby she did not need ? While he was at Work ? They might of been locked up in that room for days ? Those poor poor Babies.
It’s weird how cooperative and understanding the guy is. It almost feels like he knows they’re terrible parents and is relieved at least his kids get to be out of that situation.
Welcome to the world of Gen Z "parents"; dumb as f--- and unfit to ever be in charge of the lives of children. This (this video) is what happens when Gen Z and Millennials (to a lesser extent) become parents, focusing on new age nonsense like climate change, 300 genders and "social justice"rather than on maintaining a functioning traditional family...
I was taken away from my parents at the age of 3 due to the neglect and conditions in the household. I always thought the cops and child services were inherently bad because of this. I didn’t know for a long time that I was neglected as an infant. Seeing this, and knowing that the people that removed me from the home were acting out of the kindness of their hearts and compassion, it changes a lot. No matter how controversial child services can be, their intentions are honest and sincere. It’s good to know there’s some kind of service in place to help deter the impact of growing up in these conditions.
problem is that DCs doesn't have the authority to take someones children. also what should be happening is that if DCs is called in they do everything in their power to keep children with their family because that is what is in there best interest. what should be happening is that legitimate help without the threat of your kids being taken should be available to anyone who needs it. Ripping families apart without someone having proof of an actual crime is criminal in and of itself.
@@amberemma6136 if you see children living in a garbage dump infested with bugs, crying their lungs out with zero regards for their wellbeing and safety from their own parents, i'm pretty sure it's in your best interest to get those children the fuck away from that deplorable state. the absolute state of that place is proof that the children is in neglect. i hope you're not a mother if this is how you think.

I’m a nurse and I used to work in child social work…..I had to quit due to stuff like this. I had three young kids at home and I’d constantly have flash backs to the children I’d see in my work investigations and it messed me up a lot. To save my sanity I went back to adult nursing. Anyone who has to deal with children who are being abused or neglected never forgets what they see.
im trying to change my job to work in child social work. I wish i'll have enough strenght to endure it but it's really what i want to do with my life, help the little ones :(
apart from all the times child services looks at a clearly dangerous, neglectful or abusive situation and gives the parents a passing grade because they can't be bothered to have to do the paperwork after taking the kids away...not to mention all the times they take kids out of perfectly normal and healthy situations over nothing.
You should go back. Because we need good people that actually care. Of course you'd probably get fired if you cared. They're literally taking good happy kids from good families, and leaving the unhappy kids with unhappy drugged parents. It's turned into such blatent trafficking for rich families that get paid by the state.
I left group homes as well for the same reason. It took a toll on me. Especially the SA, I found myself wanting to get Justice for the child victims myself, never acted on it but the thoughts alone, I knew it was time to go into the field I went to school for, Data analytics. I think this is further supported by her response....as the woman responds to him suggesting she "put up the paraphernalia," by saying: "it's not mine."
The objects not belonging to her would not affect her ability to "put them away," but the objects belonging to someone else would _definitely_ affect her ability to "put them up for sale" and sell them.

That last part about the husband filing a missing person's report on the wife is exactly how my dad found my mom on a boat with another man. nobody cares about your life story, don't just go on the internet bragging about your life story cuz nobody cares dude
The first stage of trauma is denial and a lot of people just stay right there. I'm sorry about what you had to deal with.
"I'm doing the best I can."
And it's not good enough.
People need to start admitting and accepting their shortcomings and act accordingly.
This woman is under so much pressure, we can feel IT. 3 babies. Just delivered, no money, drugs, booze, mental health issues. Her fiancé
well.........not much support from him.
Very true
You're pretty.

We're not your therapist. Why do you think people care about your life story?

Please, communicate that to your parents. Don't just assume they know, please take the time to sit them down and tell them how grateful you are and what specifically you're grateful for. Trust me, they will appreciate it so much.
The only thing about my parents was that they lied sometimes but they were the best parents I could have asked for-even though they are a little strict.
Yeah I acted out a lot when I was a kid and young teenager. I thought my parents weren't fair, too strick and too aggressive with their discipline. Even if that were all true, they still loved me and took good care of me and my 6 other siblings.

Yea the lack of response from mommy with those screams for her and daddy tore me apart to the very core.

@@shantelstonehouse A misdemeanor (American English,[1] spelled misdemeanour elsewhere) is any "lesser" criminal act in some common law legal systems. Typically, misdemeanors are punished with monetary fines or community service.
In the United States, misdemeanors are typically crimes with a maximum punishment of 12 months of incarceration, typically in a local jail as contrasted with felons, who are typically incarcerated in a prison. Jurisdictions such as Massachusetts are a notable exception; the maximum punishment of some misdemeanors there is up to 2.5 years.[20] People who are convicted of misdemeanors are often punished with probation, community service, short jail term, or part-time incarceration such as a sentence that may be served on the weekends.

I pray these babies are safe, clean, healthy and loved now
The kids will likely grow up clones of the parents.
And nothing was done to remove them. Our society is as pathetic as these parents.
I hope you're adopting.
Poor tiny baby with roaches
I knew a couple like this that had a baby daughter that they clearly neglected. She was two months old and weighed five pounds. They were strung out on pain meds all the time. I just straight up asked them if I could take her home with me and she ended up living with me for the next 18 months. I tried to adopt her but it fell through and they moved out of the state. I found out they had three more kids after they left and they were all taken away at the hospital for several months bc the mom always tested positive for drugs:/ then she died of an overdose not too long ago. I'll always remember and miss "my" little girl.
I’m so sorry. I wish she was able to stay with you.
Why did the adoption fall through?

That's what is wrong with our court system. These officers did everything right, then some blatant stupid ass judge let's them off. That's why you should ALWAYS vote NO at voting time when you are asked if you should retain judge so and so. They leave them in office too dang long!
@@melodie155 1)a judge only rules on a case that is presented before him/her. he/she doesn't get to decide what or if charges will be made, that is on the city/state district attorney's office. They can deny a plea deal offered by the DA, that rarely if ever happens though. 2) there is a reason for plea deals in many cases. which i don't care to get into. in this case in particular there was plenty of proof of child neglect. however, there may not have been enough proof to get the felony conviction. there has to be an intent to do harm to get the felony conviction. This was not the case here. these were a couple of meth heads that had no business having kids. as they couldn't take care of themselves much less anyone else.

Dude, I'm loving the cop's responses
"Yeah it's called a kid" True legend
Unfortunately not always the CPS are, also one of the biggest child traffickers. Sad but true
Not true
Cps in our state is shadey at times and doesn’t help who actually needs it
@@haveTRUEtranSparencyEMiLy why is it not true? just because you know a few bad stories doesn't mean it applies to the whole field. I had a bad experience with a golfer when I was a kid, he gave me a slap for trying to steal his golf ball, I'm not gonna think all golfers are bad, but that one was a bit of a dick. There are bad people ofc, but more importantly, there are bad systems. CPS is not inherently a bad system, they're a group of people trying to look after the younglings, then go home and chill. There's bad people that shouldn't be there ofc, but that doesn't represent the intentions of the field itself
The fact that she isn’t completely embarrassed but actually had the audacity to raise her voice when they asked her questions about why her kids living space looked like a dump pisses me off to no end.
It’s because she’s messed up, she’s slurring like crazy.
She’s pissed because she got caught. Her laziness and gross neglect of those poor babies is out now for everyone to see. I hope she never gets her kids back.
She isn't the only one in that house, though.
@@Mako918 okay does that excuse the fact that she’s obviously doing nothing to make it live-able for her kids? Tell us your house looks like that without telling us 😂
They're likely mentally handicapped.
How on earth can cops psychologically survive these calls. Bless them.
😢 this is horrible! The poor children and their screaming! Heartbreaking and overwhelming! It makes me sooo sick to the point of vomiting! Bless them sweet babies! 😢😢
Those arent even scream of a sad kid, those are screams of agony. I hope the kids are safe and the parents find a way to become good parents and take care of them.
😅 I hope they get fostered by there aunt or get fosterer by actual parents. He smacking her head cause she knows she's been caught
They won't
imagine the rash they must have
these people shouldn't ever be around children let alone raising their own.... people that do all of this and leave not one but THREE children in these disgusting living conditions do not care about their children. If they did at the VERY LEAST the childrens rooms and kitchen would be clean
7:20 the so called "mother" : "like I don't even know why you're mad" proves she shouldn't be allowed children.... i don't care at all for the parents i care about the children that are struggling to survive in these disgusting conditions.
I wish i'll have enough strenght to endure it but it's really what i want to do with my life, help the little ones :(
Thank you for all that you did/do ❤
apart from all the times child services looks at a clearly dangerous, neglectful or abusive situation and gives the parents a passing grade because they can't be bothered to have to do the paperwork after taking the kids away...not to mention all the times they take kids out of perfectly normal and healthy situations over nothing.
One day, maybe I’ll go back, I’ve even planned on turning my home into a safe home later once my kids are grown and we move, my way of still giving back. Virtual Hugs.
Ive grown up poor my mother and father worked their butts off to keep us clean and have full bellies we struggled my dad and mom both were in the military and had physical and mental problems but never NEVER did they let things get like this its absolutely heart breaking to think people could let this happen to kids i pray for those kids and God bless the cops that have to see that and keep their cool
I will NEVER understand why people who deserve children the least, are the most fertile.
As someone who experienced a situation very similar to those kids, that officer standing up for them hits so hard.
Lololol 🤣😆🤣😁😂😂😂
