He even had business cards about being a super expert geocacher and held events and "what a great way to get your kids off of a true terror for them!the internet !" So many things about how the cops acted was so weird and off-putting. Remarking that it had taken a long time for the caller to make the 911 call while faffing about themselves for ages. Threatening to send in the dog when they had been told a beaten woman was being held against her will, AFTER they already got the suspect out of there. The language used in general, calling the victim a "chick". Joking around outside. Keeping the kidnapper right outside able to talk to the victim. Not even trying to help her walk to the ambulance. Ugh, just bad all around.

You have elderly parents and a small child in the home. If you call 911 right then and he’s watching there’s a good chance he’s coming through that door and annihilating your family. So you play it cool, go about your routine, send your kid off to school where it’s safe and secure your parents.

It’s outrageous, frustrating and just plain maddening! Their jobs are to protect and serve, not stand about and gawk at the victims! What were they thinking?! After everything she went through, that was the last thing she needed! 12 officers just standing around like it was a show put on for their entertainment! And to hear one say, “I’m glad we stuck around for this one, geez.” was something I can’t even begin to comprehend! It’s unfathomable that police would behave in such a poor manner! The police can’t trump what the judges decide. And I do agree that a lawsuit absolutely should be filed. But not on the police department. The criminal justice system is what needs to be tried on this. They’re the ones that knowingly put him back out on the streets after having already committed this same heinous crime twice already prior to this! And yet they went easy in him both times! So there absolutely may very well be something that can be done in this girls case. They just need to get a lawyer that will dig for those loopholes. And let me tell you, suits like these usually have very large payday. Lawyer jump on this shit fast if it holds water! I once had a stalker (online) who was extremely aggressive towards me and, from what i heard from his roommates, was extremely violent. He would beat anyone who disagreed with me or challenged me on anything. And after all the verbal abuse and defamation, he would ask if we could cuddle and start trying to flirt.
When this guy called out: "I love you, Chloe!" It sent chills down my spine. This guy is just like the stalker i used to have. If he is released, he's going to go looking for her - just like he went looking for his ex. That "i love you" was manipulative and will do nothing but instill fear. The question is: does he know that, or is he so mentally fucked up that he truly believes that's what love is?
It was irresponsible to let this guy go after his previous kidnappings and assault. And frankly, leaving his ex on the road should have been considered attempted murder. If they let him go AGAIN, then they'll be putting Chloe in immense danger. Because not only is this guy a repeat offender, but he's shown himself to be someone who will track down previous victims and try to kill them. He's an unhinged stalker, kidnapper, manipulator, and potential murderer... who won't stop until he's put away or put down. They better send him to prison for life after this shit.
I mean just look at the way he smiles and jokes with the cops at the end. No remorse for what he's done, treating it like he's just hanging out. He's going to do it again, and his next victim may not be so lucky. He is ruining lives, and he's walking free.

You know if they didn’t throw the book at him after he nearly killed the last one, they’re not going to do much more this time either. I can’t believe they allow someone like this to walk free! You are 100% right in every last thing you said! And yeah, him joking with the cops is what gave me chills. Like you said, no remorse! It’s scary to think he’ll be back out with in a year or 2. And if he somehow makes bail, she’s not gonna be safe. I really hope she has family some place else that can take her and her kid in and keep her safe.

This is why judges and parole board should have some accountability for their piss poor decisions.

    Law enforcement is failing us.
Hearing he was previously arrested for holding a woman captive for four days, tying her up and beating her and ONLY GOT 18 months!! Whatta joke.

"I love you Chloe!" Chilling what some people consider "love" and what they actually mean when they say that. It can be the most heartwarming.....or the most CHILLING thing you could hear.

Whoever was involved in any way in this guy being on the street should also be held accountable for this happening. It is absolutely absurd.

Blows my mind how long the cops stand out by building cracking jokes in original video before going in . They were lucky she wasn’t being killed inside while they stood on other side of door . Mind blowing

I like how blunt you are. Instead of saying something like "perpetrator" you say something like "sadistic monster"
