Reupholstering these dining chairs I bought for $25 for all!
The sconce is secondhand, as is the picture frame, table and everything on the table :)
I’m loving these little makeovers you’re doing bit by bit! It almost feels like catching up with a friend. Looking forward to seeing what’s next 😊
Great finds and the kitty is a sweetheart.
Loving your content so much! It’s so nice to watch an Aussie doing interior design stuff ❤
hello fellow aus!
Love your videos and style Shaunna.
As a disabled person, you are inspiring me to do the things i want to do even if it takes me longer than usual. Thank you!
thank you so much. that'd means alot! getting back into life progressively even when I dont feel like it (within reason ofcourse) has been one of the most healing things I've done. I don't know what type of illness you have but if you habe cfs you can msg me over on instgram, I have loads of great resources to share.
I adore this channel !! Everything I've seen in so enchanting, so happy I found this channel
Your painting is so beautiful ❤️
Moving the bedroom where you want it is a nice tradeoff for the giant tv.😅😊
First time watcher here. It was the little painting in the thumbnail that got me interested - and then to know that you painted it yourself. Wow. You are very talented! I will subscribe to follow your painting proces.
so nice to hear :)
When you showed the place mats and said that you would dye them, I was like "oooh I hope she will dye them green" and you did not disappoint :)
I loved to ear the birds. Such an unusual singing for me (as an European). I also would love to see more of your study paintings. They are delightful and you should totally make prints of them (for us to buy).
we have some crazy bird sounds here in aus :)
You have such a refined sense of taste and I am so in love with every choice you make!
So many things to love in this video. Mira is beautiful and resembles my two cats with her white mittens and long white boots! Your treasures are fun and thoughtful, your chair renew so successful, and your painting, my gosh, I really loved watching your brushstrokes! Thank you for sharing. Laurie
The most important part of the dining nook is to dine ❤ the most convivial space in the home along with the kitchen.
My current favourite channel of this year im obsessed. From start of video, relaxing, no gimmick no extra, soothing watch n see wonderful things you do with home decor very original. We missed you!! 12:06 superrr relaxing
thankyou! that's so sweet
I received the print I ordered from you. I love it! Thank you!
yayy great to hear, thankyou !
I'm so excited to watch the rest of this! I had to come comment because you're listening to Caroline, do you watch her channel? I love her. I wonder if the algorithm gave me you bc I watch her, honestly. However it happened, I've been very happy it did! I love all your makeover videos and your style. I've begun natural dyeing so it's fun to see what you do as well!
I love that mirror you found!! It’s beautiful 😍
Ooh la la! Turned out great. Looking forward to seeing it in the flesh in 2 weeks 😃
Looks beautiful 💕 I hope you don't mind me swiping some of your ideas for my house hahaha! 😆
Yay another upload 🤗
That is a beautiful little painting and a lovely sconce. I think once you have lived with that dining corner for a while you might come up with a different paint colour for the walls - you have an amazing ability with colours (like the table mats) and I am sure you will come up with something that lifts the warm bronze and brown tones and makes things sing. I can imagine painting the picture rail and having different colours above and below it could work wonderfully. You did a great job with those chairs. For future projects I would suggest trying some Howard's Feed'N'Wax - it is orange oil and beeswax, and it's amazing how much dirt it removes and how many scratches and blemishes it covers. If it isn't enough to restore the surface, they make wax products to match the different woods and they will restore even a quite blistered, scratched or watermarked surface. I now always try them first before going through the tedious process of removing finishes and retouching. Thanks for your videos. If you dread the intros, maybe you could just talk over some footage of you at work. Despite your dread you do a wonderful, natural job and I always enjoy it. And the lovely cat. Thank you.
I love your style. It is super unique and would be hard for me to pull off on my own which is a super inspiration for me.
Really love the sconce and your painting! Also the color of the placemats is beautiful. I think you need a painting or mirror on the wall adjacent to the one with the sconce. Looks kinda strange to have your painting in the middle of the wall and nothing on the other one.
i think a bit of teak oil was all you needed for the chairs- they turned out lovely
Can I ask what state you are in. I’m in Victoria and have just stumbled across your videos and I’ve subscribed. Looking forward to getting to know your content
Finallyyyyyyyyy 🎉
Don't feel like you need to intro your videos if it makes you anxious! Just get straight to it :)
I think I won't anymore :)
Idk why but your audio only works on the left side. Great vid as always tho~
thankyou I'm working on it ! :)
