Did not Jesus love you???? Love them back and leave the judgment to God
      Question
Do you spend at lest an in prayer calling on Jesus ? I got saved in 1982 and seen the tricks of the devil
Carlton says the New Testament is man’s opinion of God !!
He has sadly left the way to go to hell if he does not repent

Hey Carlton. First off, I think you are a phenomenal creature of God. God has given you such a marvelous mind, and a beautiful singing voice. I'm not going to get into my entire story, but the readers digest version is that I was raised in Charismatic Churches, went to a private Christian school by the time I was in high school, went off to film school, lost my faith (couldn't stomach the God who I was convinced hated me if He existed at all) got very sick (with Ulcerative colitis), had a re-dedication to Christ experience, and now I find myself still with many questions, but I have found the peace that God is in control and everything is going to be alright.
I love you, brother. I have watched the rough journey that God has had you on from the Dateline interviews, to the grilling you got on Lexi's show, but you knew something like this was coming, huh? I've seen many clips of people prophesying that you would have to trailblazer on your own. I've got my eye on you, Carlton Pearson. God isn't through developing you. Keep yourself humble and submitted to Him.
    Take Care!

You know, Bishop Pearson, the way the Gospel reads, Jesus both routinely and passionately preached against the mainstream religion into which he was born, too. So, you appear to me to be in great company, Sir, so stay encouraged. Thank you for offering spiritual clarity in such a religiously befuddled age as this. Honestly, I can't tell the difference between the church today and United Way, except that United Way's leaders - who don't even publicly acknowledge God - aren't making major media headlines for sexually molesting young boys or their bishops being their closeted sugar daddies. After almost fifty wasted years as a Christian, I abandoned it and all that came with it. I learned this cautionary lesson as I walked away. If eternity is anything like those who make up today''s organized Christianity then I'd rather take my chances on their well-preached hell. "Religion is a blind fish swimming in an ocean of hypocrisy." God is Love.

Hey Carlton! I too felt the death and zombielike spirit in the church. Including the resistance of evolution. I couldnt take the judging, rejection, dirty looks, cliques and unapproachable faces anymore. Not to mention i was expected to tithe & give but couldnt even reach my pastor when my mother was dying. My mother came from the old church where a mbr received a visit, call or encouragement from the pastor or church when a family mbr passed. Since i was in a different state my mother wanted me to be embraced and comforted during her transition. Tho the pastor never returned my many calls & even a letter from me, a tithing mbr, i didnt leave that church when i returned from my mothers homegoing because i wanted to b sure i was giving them a chance to embrace me i wasnt bitter or over reacting since i was a fairly new mbr of 3 yrs. Listening to u now makes me feel like im not alone. As i had never heard of church hurt before but it is a real thing.
I did eventually leave and found other churches during my evolution only to experience the same thing. If there was a place i could fellowship and feel included i would love it. This experience taught me that the greatest love of all is inside of me.

Beautiful Sungoddess wow! Thank you for sharing your story! Your experience is similar to mine. I also was raised and brought up in church and had some very hurtful situations happen with “church folk”. It’s very disheartening but i realized that God allowed it to happen to push me in the right direction to discover who He really is and to be freed from religious doctrine.
You might want to look into a Unity church in your area. Unity or universalist churches are more accepting of everyone so you might look into it.

Broad is the road to destruction and many there will be that find that road, and narrow and straight is the way and few there be that find it. I know what you're talkin about. I'm studying you for the first time, and I've always thought there was a different way of looking at Christianity, and I thought the same way you did years ago, but I was not in a position to preach it, because I was not a preacher. I left the church when I was at the age of makeing my own decisions, simply because I could not stand the double standards and the prosperity Gospel any longer. The people had a form of godliness but deny the power. And never saw any true miracles other than that of breathing my next breathe. So I put my faith in the finished work of the Cross, and I don't listen to anyone that doesn't teach the finished work of the cross exclusively.

Hey Jeanette, so what do you think about him?
No, I don´t think so. I mean, yes, their views are different... They stand in conflict, but not as people, but their teaching. I just see Todd White actually talking like Jesus & quoting so much Scripture, not o-n-l-y experience and a few words researched. I don´t know, but I feel like the rest of the NT doesn´t line up with what Mr. Pearson says, although he researched some words... But the context is also important, right?

    • @jeanettesilhouette5678
      @jeanettesilhouette5678 8 лет назад

Man, I'm so full of thought that I could write a whole page. But I will try to keep it short. Mr. Carlton keeps using the scripture where Jesus says, I am with you always, even until the end of the world (age). Mr. Carlton keeps referring to the Hebrew definition of "world" actually meaning "age" and that may be true. He also keeps referring to the last half of that scripture. And now even to the point where it appears that he is phasing Jesus out because we are at the end of some "AGE." He doesn't emphasize, at all, the first part of that scripture. Jesus said He would be with us always! I think Jesus was saying that it didn't matter which or what "AGE" or era or earthly disaster, or anything that may come or go. The fact is that Jesus said He would be with us ALWAYS. Do we have to look up the word "always?" Carlton wasn't saying things like that in the beginning of his new trek. But now he has begun to phase Jesus out. I'm not sure that this is the clip where he emphasized that because I have watched several of Carlton's videos. But the fact is..."What a friend we have in Jesus. ALL our sins and griefs to bare. What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer." I don't want to live in an age where Jesus no longer abides with us. And I don't believe there will EVER be such an "AGE." I want to draw closer and closer to Jesus and know Him more and more....ALWAYS.

I really find it interesting what you are saying here. Here in the UK churches in general have either come to a standstill or dying. I have felt a similar way for years now. I believe there is so much God wants to do but we have put “ religious” barriers up. I understand you when you say listen to your soul. I get it! But unfortunately the church often does not. I sometimes find church one of the most soulless of places. Which it should be the complete opposite! A lot of worship music I just find soooo cheesy! It is too safe and afraid to diversify. There is a song about what you saying by the Band “ James” called “ God Only knows”. Came out in the mid 90’s but is very relevant to what you are thinking. Even this song has been slammed by religious leaders. The song writer Tim Booth said it is not about been Blasphemous or insulting God but about being the condition of being self righteous in belief. Have a listen. I find more and more non Christian artists speak more truth about God than Christian artists...

The verse new wine in old wineskins is really referring to not mixing the old and the new covenant the law and the finished work of the cross. Nothing more. And I can tell you exactly when people are leaving the church and why churches are closing down. Note to self centered and they do not want to give up the flesh. That is the bottom line their flesh. And in every denomination we have the same trouble. If we then seek the favor of men, then we cease to seek the Lord. Jeremiah 17:5 Thus saith the Lord; cursed be the man that trust in man, and make flesh his arm, and whose heart departed from the Lord. For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good comes; but shall inherit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited. But blessed is the man that trust in the Lord and whose hope is the Lord. Carlton I have this feeling I can't make it any plainer than this.

Salvation out of fear is not fulfilling or transformative. Being lost is hell. This notion seems more of semantics than a change from tradition. Anyone not knowing Christ or believing in God is lost. And that is not a peaceful place, not a place of fulfillment or of understanding. Carlton Pearson's core message remains the same, that there is a sovereign God and the world is saved by the sacrifice of the Christ Jesus. Those not accepting or acknowledging this as fundamental are lost and are not living in the fulfillment of God's Grace and Mercy. Knowing God and that we are saved through Christ is what energizes our spirits and brings peace. Those that need a hell to fear for salvation are missing the essence of God which is LOVE. IMHO
