I was at this show. It was the second and final time I saw the band. I was crushed to hear of Myles' passing yesterday. I have been a fan ever since I bought Nature of the Beast on vinyl in 1981 when it was first released and was on display in the front of my local Musicland store. Rest in peace, Mr. Goodwin and thank you for the many decades of fine rock music.
Just between you and me, I’ll be missing you! Your passing saddens me. The decades flew by and now there’s nothing left to do but cry. Cause It’s so hard to say goodbye. RIP
he did a great job on this. i LOVED this song the moment i heard it as a kid,...the mark of greatness,...and its one of the best guitar riffs ever. thanx for sharing this.
I woke up in the middle of the night half asleep, went to RUclips and punched in April Wine, and i couldn't figure out why Jack Nicholson was singing lead til I awakened. 😴 Thank you.......ill see myself out 😎
touching really. song pooped into my head the other day, started learning the guitar parts and harmonies. solid. He really is a likeable fella. humility suits him. eighties rock starts weren't known for their humility, but this guy seems easy to like now.
this song was my personal love song to my partner..when it came out back in 81, i was falling in love forever and though the partner is gone, the song will never leave me. tx april wine and myles
im siting here crying i loved myles nature of the beast i played so much i wore it out my favorite was just between you and me april wine was in my most band list top 5 i have diabetes 2 im 58 ive been depressed letting it get out of hands vision in my right now gone but for myles im going get it checked my father died at 60 im hoping he will look down below at me and know how much he meant to me and the insperation he bestowed on me to get my diabetes under controll thank you miles rip i love you
People need to check out the original video for the song... "I like to Rock".... April Wine was in the same Studio that Rush shot the video for Tom Sawyer in. And Myles was young and on the top of his game!
You know, my 1st crush in 84 ish didnt wanna have nothing to do with me, and when it became apparent, this friggin song came on.....every CRUSH BREAK!! 😅😅😅 id cry my eyes out, depressed, then another would walk buy, aww...lets see if...😮 ohhh noooo!! Que april wine!! Lol 😅😅 love this song! Thanks from almost canada 🇨🇦, Ann arbor michigan ❤
Great band! I saw them in 81 I think it was. Highly underrated band. They have some great songs, this being one of them. The 3 guitar lineup was awesome! Cool to see them still at it.
Sounds great, but the drums are too quite and a little bit "off". Missing Jerry I guess. I seen them at least 9 times through the years. Got all their autographs one time :)
Pretty amazing...he sounds pretty much like when he was young. The only other guy I can think of that sounds like when he was young, is Dave Meniketti (Y&T). Don Dokken (Dokken) sounds horrible now.
I Think I Am In Love With You! 3:54 , that off strangling sounding off note almost made me want to tell you that it takes away from the voice LMAOOOOOOO

Nothing better than vintage Wine. We were a better people and country back in those days, and certainly had much better music.

He can definitely still sing and his guitar playing hasn’t changed. Amazing player and amazing band
Loved this band, such a great song, melodramatic but beautiful rock power ballad. Long live April Wine and Myles Godwin.

My wife and I met in 1981. This is OUR song!

Man.....I'm turning grey, and still haven't become that rock star I wanted to be, but this guy is both.....living his dreams.
I'm turning Gray myself 😂
I remember being a little kid shoving in the 8tracks in my mom stereo to rock out while dad was at work❤
Just between you and me.... April Wine will always be my favorite band!!!!

I saw Myles & Lenny at Centennial Hall in London, Ontario; early-mid 70's I think! They have always been an awesome band! Peace!

Para mi es su mejor rola.
Sounds great, but the drums are too quite and a little bit "off". Missing Jerry I guess. I seen them at least 9 times through the years. Got all their autographs one time :)
RIP Myles.
Hey, just between you and me, the song just between you me starts @ 2:35
❤️
Ziggy Las Vegas👍
This is such a good song, I think AW could have kept it simple and their classic rock brand would have come back in the later 1980s.
I was there.
RIP
You go Jack Nicholson 🤣😂
sounds great, but he turned into Art Carney
And you turned into a Phil Spector look-a-like. I think Myles would prefer to look like Art Carney.
RIP, Myles.
🕯. 🎤 Myles Goodwin

Beginning sounds like I can't get no satisfaction from the Stones?
Pretty amazing...he sounds pretty much like when he was young. The only other guy I can think of that sounds like when he was young, is Dave Meniketti (Y&T). Don Dokken (Dokken) sounds horrible now.
What about Paul Rogers. Meniketti was a God 😍
They can just copy a song like that ?
It's his song!
Myles Goodwin wrote it!
He died, today.🕯
