    Tom, I love your videos and enjoy listening to you. The expressions that I knew were : "a while ago", " a second ago", "ages ago", "the day before yesterday" and also "when I was a child" but I didn't know the last expression is actually an expression, is good to know !     I remember back in the day we used to fish with friends every weekend.

    Hello Tom. My brand new expression is "A Fortnight Ago"; definitely I've never heard it before. Can you use "Centuries Ago" instead of "Ages ago"?

      I haven't seen my friend Bob in ages.
      Centuries ago you will be referring to something historical.
      Henry VIII lived centuries ago.
      The English Civil War was centuries ago.

    First comment,I’m glad I found your videos. I came to the 🇬🇧 in 2005 l didn’t speak any English,I past level 1 ESOL exam but whenever I do English assessment they put me back in entry 2 I’m not confident in speaking.
