I love the build you did for the bulkhead wall! What are the materials that you used for the walls? I loved the design and it seems like it’s pretty lightweight and sturdy… Will be waiting patiently for your professional answers, thank you
Cheers Teresa, from memory it was timber latt frame roughly 25 x 30mm, Kingspan insulation, and covering the frame work and insulation, 4mm plywood covered in Bentley quilted leatherette 🙂👌👍👍👍.
I think I'd better start with Pt1
Looks great ...i like that patterned board
Thank you matey 😉👌👍👍👍.
What type of board is it please.
It's Bentley leatherette upon 6mm plywood bud 👌👍.

Thank you Yann 😁👍👍👍
Nice neat job Mark. Great video explanations too....as always. Not too much talk or detail and not too little. Hope you have your expletive bleeper ready for the seat fitting ! Looking forward to that one. John
Thank you John 😊👍, yes, the van seat should be an interesting one, probably an over engineered one, I'm going to have to dumb some parts down, as it is very "technical" and could loose interest for some viewers matey 🤔😉👍👍👍
Good job
Thank you Jason 😊👍👍👍

Thank you matey 😁👍, yes, not far off finishing now 👏, we definitely will be using it all year round bud 😉👍👍👍
Think that calls for Aluminium :)
The Bulkhead Wall is coming out on the rebuild 😉👌👍👍👍.
Hi Mark - great work mate. I really like how you've lined the van, what's the material, is it some kind of vinyl? Where's it from? All the best.
Thank you 👌👍. Here a link to the vynal 😎👍👍👍.
Thanks Mark - You're an ace mate. all the best
👍👍🍺🍺🍺😉 Very good Mark, that’s a good idea separating the cab from the main living area, your lucky because the van is pretty long. In relation to the wheels and tyres are you going to put bigger size ones on ect kind regards John, love the dogs mate
Cheers John 😉👌, probably will go for larger off road tyres, but for now mate, the ones I have are practically brand new tyres, so I will wear them out first 😉👍👍👍
Mark Collom #Iveavan good idea Mark I was looking back at when you first got her the paint job you did was really great I thought you sprayed it. You should be very proud how it’s turning out because the way your gong it’s going to be be something right out the box! The other good thing is you have the room, I would love to do something like your doing but I suffer with rheumatoid arthritis so I get real enjoyment watching someone like yourself and your not full of a lot of bull shit, no terrific job your doing kind regards John.🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🇦🇺
@@johnkinnane547 thank you John very kind of you 👌👍, it's been a long hard slog nearly every night after work, and most weekends, I certainly will be glad once it's done mate 😎🍻👍👍👍.
that telescopic orange pole looks a handy bit of kit mate, have you a link or details please?
It's an plaster board pole, you can find them in B&Q either in the tool section or next to the plaster boards bud 😉👌👍👍👍...
Those patterns line up better than anything in our van 😂😂 you are doing an amazing job!!
I'm short sighted anyway, from a distance evey thing blends into a morph 🤓😅, thank you guys 😉👍👍👍
Have you got a video where you created the above cab storage?
Hi Dan
It probably be in the second link but the first link leads up to second if you know what I mean. 👌😉👍👍👍.
Greetings from California! This is the first of your videos I’ve watched, I like your build design, it was especially satisfying to see the insulation snuggly fitting into the frame!
I’m planning my second van build soon, and I’d like to build a bulkhead wall similar to your design, but I think I want to incorporate a sliding door, probably a pocket door. My current van has a metal bulkhead wall, and the door swings open into the living space. When it’s fully open it blocks access to my cabinetry so I’m always having to close it first before I can open my cabinets, and I’d like to avoid that in the next build. Will your door be hinged or will it be a slider? New sub, bloody ‘ell!
Thank you matey😉👍, my door is hinged, ideally a pocket door would of been much better but being stuck in a cold climate I wanted the insulation withing the wall. Works well in summer to 46°c in the cab 18°c in the habitation 😉👌👍👍👍...
@@Iveavan Even in Southern California I’m dealing with a lot of heat in the cab, especially in the summer, and even in the winter it can get down into the 40s (5-10 C) so insulation is a must.
Yesterday I got my hands on a free metal doorless bulkhead wall for the Ram ProMaster, which I believe is the same vehicle as the Fiat Ducato. The bulkhead wall is a little concave on the cab side, I think to allow for the seats to recline. So I’m not entirely sure how I will go about building a pocket door for that, especially since I have not purchased the new van yet, but hopefully I can make it work!
A few days ago I ordered on Amazon the pocket door hardware for $39 US. If I can’t make the metal bulkhead wall work with my pocket door design, I will go back to what you have done, with your two insulated sections, and then add another door section which will also be insulated just like your other sections, and finally a thin wall to complete the pocket. I will be interested to see how your door turns out!
@@spleerfloofcool😉👍, my door is also Insulated just like how I did the walls, but for some reason it never made it within this video, nor have I mentioned it in the latest videos (I forgot to follow up to be honest with you 🤦♂️😅). Only difference is I placed a couple off dead locks that can be only unlocked from the habitation area 😉👌👍👍👍..
@@Iveavan Sounds prudent. I know how that goes, trying to build but also photograph or video as you go, not always easy to juggle :)
Is that a different van you're working on? Has it always been that colour..?
Hey up 😁👍, Which one 🤔, it was blue about 10 months ago but now its Nato light stone, or, are you on about the silver van 🤔😁👍👍👍
@@Iveavan I've no idea, lol. I just don't recall seeing that colour before. Hey ho, it's not important 😏
Lol, not to worry😉, no its the same van 😁👍👍👍
@@Iveavan Okay, thanks 😊
I can't believe that pattern doesn't align. 🤣
Sorry mate 😔🙏, the standards are slipping 😂😁😉👍👍👍
