Chronologically, the films are: "Smok", "Twardowsky", "Twardowsky 2.0", "Operacja Bazyliszek" and (my favorite) "Jaga" 🙂 Although these are stories based on various Polish legends, but here they are intertwined into one story 🙂

    She's a demon.
This is basically a reimagined version of the Polish folk tale of Lord Twardowski, a mythical nobleman (who may have been a mythologized historical person) who made a deal with the devil and managed to avoid hell, though ended up being imprisoned on the moon.

Lord Twardwowski is a legendary noble man, who had the covenant with the Devil.
So... The deal was: Twardowski will have all dreams come true in one year. But after one year he has to give his soul to Devil. (Btw... In legend this Devil was Mephisto)
But, acording to deal, the Devil can take the soul of Twardowski only in Rome. Twardowski was smart, so... He don't want to go to Rome! And he escaped. Finally he escaped to the Moon.
This is the origin of the storry.
There is another version of the end of story. More fun.
Twardowski doesn't want to go to Rome, and Devil is very angry. But... One day Twardowski was drinking in the inn. In one moment Devil comes to him and says:
"The revenge is lazy, but you came to our snare... The name of this inn is "ROME"! You're arrested!".
But in contract was Twardowski has 3 last wishes before he will go to Hell. One of them was:
"Mephisto must spend one year with the wife of Twardowski"!
And then Devil refused and escaped!
The last wish was to hard for the Devil!
    😂😂😂

Hey. Have you seen the old short film KATEDRA (cathedral) by Tomasz Bagiński and Jacek Dukaj? Watch it because it’s worth it. Besides, look for translations of Jacek Dukaj’s texts - Stanisław Lem of the 21st century. Best regards.

Unfortunately, I think Dar that without first familiarizing yourself with the legends, you will not be able to fully understand them. There are many understatements in the film that are understandable to Poles raised on these legends. I noticed that you try to compare these films to Marvell productions and the like (which is normal). Good luck with your further reviews :))

You know that one of the creators of Netflix 'Witcher' series, Bagiński, was a creator of this series?
And it was a way to find a studio to create Witcher series better than Polish 2000's version with... well... low budget, some poor casting choices, Far East weaponry, but more faithfull to the source material (scene when Geralt meets Ciri in the last episode...).
And after all of it, with Bagiński involved we get this series. we get weak fanfiction mith damn monoliths and idiotic spin-offs.
Legendy Polskie is a great series, but...

The ending sentence was "Won do piekła, kurwo wściekła", which roughly translates into "Fucking go to hell, you fucking whore", but "won" is like "fucking gone", but without even any respect, "do piekła" is "to hell", "kurwo" as derivative from "kurwa" which means "whore" but works almost as english "fuck" and "wściekła" is a feminine form of being angry. This is a scientific translation, but I belive that you've lost a lot of poetry due to not speaking polish as native language.

Sorry, but the translation does not convey the seriousness of the profanity used in our language to any other.
