- Finally we got up close and personal with the Honda HR-V e:HEV RS.
We explore this hybrid version, and note that despite it having the same hybrid system and engine capacity as the City and City Hatchback hybrid, there has been a revision of the final drive ratio, giving the HR-V e:HEV quite good power delivery.
This new hybrid system is more akin to an electric vehicle with an engine to recharge the batteries.
Additionally, the engine takes over at high speed cruising to ease the load on the motor, but every time you put your foot down, the electric motor kicks back in to give you that kick in the pants feeling.
It is a great SUV, guys, and if you want to get one, do consider getting it through us. We do have participating dealers throughout P Malaysia to serve you, and you would be helping us keep our channel going.

A beautiful beast Honda has made!
Great Comprehensive Review
Terbaik uncle...nak beli ikat tepi
Hi uncle saya hadir nak tengok video uncle 👋🏻😊
No RCTA, No 360 camera, No blind spot monitor. No front parking sensor. Why Honda?
Same, nice looking, but cannot accept without these basic safety features...
Get it done outside lo. 3K kautim already what. Can afford HRV sure can afford to pasang all that too. Futhermore, factory 360 camera sucks. Look at Toyota Vios 360 camera. Go pasang aftermarket soundstream android player with 360 camera. Much better.
@@JJJJ-hq4xd not all people willing to take risk for warranty void and waste extra money while with that price range it should come with those equipment
@@JJJJ-hq4xd Maybe it should not come with the wheels too because not everyone likes the original wheels.
Because it is Honda.
very similar to Prius 2012 but the 2nd hand price will drop drastically in local market due to the cost of replacement of hv batt and inverter, it’s very quiet though
So you have the turbo option.
mana yg lebih baik uncle antara toyota corolla cross dgn hrv nii..nampak macam corolla cross lebih maskulin n mantap..apa pandngan uncle antara jenama ni..tq
Hi Azhar, dua dua pun baik. Honda ini adalah hybrid technologi yang baru, dan torque adalah tinggi.
C Cross adalah hybrid system yanf sangat reliable, dan kereta Toyota tahan lasak.
Pilih lah salah satu.
i would like to ask... hrv rs 2023 got wireless charging ? and also got hands-free powerboot?
Yes..got hands free powerboot..but need to buy saparately the wireless charger..
hybrid car have sport mode..? how does it work..?
It just gives more power and burns more fuel.
Why no blind sport monitoring as it is another safety feature or Honda thinks that not necessary?
Honda is so proud of their land watch
How much do you need to wait this car in your country?
It was a mixture of circumstances that led to this situation. Conditions will ease after this.
Paiseh... Not really interesting car... But definitely reliable one
No need to paiseh, not every video is interesting to everybody. Some of our viewers are genuinely interested to buy, so this video would be informative to them. Thank you for watching our videos. We need all the support we can get.
This new HRV or Mazda CX-30, i prefer cx30 🥴
Go for the one you like. You want to look at your car later on and smile and say you made the right choice.
Ml
Looks only... Lack of praticality...
4 adult only.. Have to choose between space or looks.. Its up to personal preferance..
Every vehicle is always up to the individual's taste and preferences.
I am the City Hybrid owner, I have to say, there is no reason to go for Hybrid cars. No reason, even EV cars are more reliable and better resale value than hybrid cars… never, never buy hybrid cars(big no no especially in Malaysia)
Why are you saying that as I'm looking at buying city hybrid since it can saves fuel. Thanks.
ya, what’s your reason?
A juvenile half assed comment.
I agree. Hybrids are too complex systems and weight more than normal petrol. Performance wise not much difference except for initial torque. Mainly meant for city only. Struggles on highways being an Atkinson cycle limiting the engine power.
Yes, had they been popularized a decade ago in asian countries its a different matter. Today its most suitable for taxi drivers than normal users with limited city usage of 30 km per day. Cost and complex technology doesn’t justify hybrids todsy unless you are a high mileage muncher in the city. BEV are better and will surely take over in the next 5 years.
