    I went to Penang on merdeka day and returned to city on 5/9. Covered over 1000 km.
    To tell you the truth…the FC is not that great.
    Fueled up at shell NKVE. Full tank was around rm75. And it was enough to cover about 420km
    Average FC was 12.0 km/L

      It all depends on how you drive. On my climb up Genting in my other video, it was about 5 km per liter for the climb. On the way down it was 33km per liter.

    good but i think its the best you can get frum HRv as you are runnig below 80 kph with almost no acceleration. Keeping below 1600 rpm means the turbo is not pushing much. Try do it at 100kph and you will get a huge drop in km/l

    I don't understand why most car reviewers want to even relate to the particular car fuel consumption as indicated by that meter reading that fluctuates up and down. We all know it's impossible to attain such consumption figures in the real world. 33.1km per litre ? You will be lucky if you can get 15km/litre overall in the real world. Besides I believe, that meter reading is just a guide to the driver of his driving habit. You step hard on the accelerator, that figure will drop to less than 10km/litre, when you maintain it at 90km/hr , you might get 33km/litre or more! When the car goes up an incline that figure will drop, when it goes down a slope the figure will rise! It is just a guide to tell you how your driving habit is affecting the fuel consumption of the car! Nothing more than that! To compute the real world fuel consumption figure, one should fill the tank to the brim , reset the mileage meter and refill to the brim when the tank is almost empty and compute the fuel consumption based on the mileage and fuel used.

    • @RafiZess
      @RafiZess 2 года назад

      Yes correct. The cluster meter is not accurate at all to test the fuel consumption

    • @YSKhongDriving
      @YSKhongDriving  Год назад

      Yes, we know the full tank to full tank method as well. It is also another measure, and is not fool-proof either. There are other ways too, but we are not equipped to do them.

    this is not accurate and might give wrong assumption...
    FIRST....it still having like 80% fuel tank
    SECOND.... driving behaviour is below 80km/j (and this is the key)
    If you want to get more accurate, you should only judge when the fuel tank left only like 10% fuel (left 1 bar), also, your driving behaviour won't be all the way below 80km/j...
    ONLY then you can get accurate fuel comsuption based on your driving behaviour.
    NO OFFENSE, but this is wrong to test the fuel consumption
    i saw the comment saying climbing up to genting is 5km/litre, it is clearly explained...
    if everyone driving behaviour consistenly below 80km/j, then all car model fuel consumption will be great! there's no need to do comparison even...
    The video at last showing 20.3 per litre is based on your 80% fuel left, when the fuel used up till last bar, then that one is consider accurate.

    • @YSKhongDriving
      @YSKhongDriving  2 года назад

      As I said in the video, which is left intact deliberately, what ypi see is what you get.
      Whether it is accurate or not is up to the viewer, and you are definitely not wrong, or right.

    Hi, uncle ys. This is Stepphen here. I currently own a hrv 1.5 v spec, which is currently 5 months old. I have a question regarding the fuel range. Initially, after pumping full tank into the car, the fuel range would show 400+km (the most range was 445km, if not mistaken). However, recently, after pumping full tank into the car, i was suprised tha it only shows 385km of range till empty. Furthermore, the 'replacement engine oil due now' indicator also lights up once I start the engine. So, uncle ys, is the decrease in range mainly affected by the engine oil that needs to be replaced soon?

    • @YSKhongDriving
      @YSKhongDriving  8 месяцев назад +3

      Hi, your range ia dependent on your current driving style. Based on your current driving style the system calculates the range you would get based on the fuel in your car.

    It is a pain to watch uncle Khong driving on the slow lane and all those cars and vans overtaking him.
