We have some wicked soft sand in the Arabian Gulf, especially in the summer when its +50C under the sun. 12 psi starting pressure down to 8 psi when in mess. Desert tires are the way to go but a very difficult/bad tire choice when the bulk of your drive is on tarmac or ketch / rocky surfaces. Great videos! I reckon it’s funny that people equate revs to momentum. To actually gain traction you need to allow the friction of the sand to slow the engine speed, not keep revving higher or playing around...
It is assumed that before entering the sand, the tires should be emptied to 15, and if you cannot get out of the sand, empty them to 10 with the four-wheel drive and the Daflok operation.

the new patrol tryna go and turn 😂😂😂
BFs make great tires but they make a hell of a mess of the sand, churn it up really bad if you don't have the tire pressure low enough for the conditions. BTW, you guys don't seem to like maxtrax, guess you saw the "no wheel spin" warning and said f%#$* it! LOL!!!
changed my mind, this is painful to watch. Offroad guidelines "Always travel with a minimum of two cars" You boys have a fleet of high powered fully rigged 4x4s, winches etc. and still made a pig's ear of it! Whether at the beginning or end of your trip I bet the burnt shoulders were an ugly reminder of the bad decisions made on that day!
10:58 bless you
Some of the best 4wd’s. But no driving skills
...... Seems the White Patrol was trying to get to France - the hard way!! 😂😆
This a great video to show you what to do and not to do 🤔
FFS,WTF,gold absolute gold,dipsticks in expensive 4bs,🤣
I reckon it’s funny that people equate revs to momentum. To actually gain traction you need to allow the friction of the sand to slow the engine speed, not keep revving higher or playing around...
Toyota Land Cruiser is beast of Nature. Made it look like the sand was just another piece of pie
in Canada I would put chains on for mud and snow areas, would chains work in the sand ? thoughts
Probably not as good sand too soft
amazing how easy it is when you don't mash the throttle.
10:55 i miss the time we didn't give a fuck to COVID
It is assumed that before entering the sand, the tires should be emptied to 15, and if you cannot get out of the sand, empty them to 10 with the four-wheel drive and the Daflok operation.
why did the group stop on the track in the first place? you only stop if bogged.
but the idiot in the earthcruiser iveco was stupid to try to pass, but i did like how easy it made it look.
The NP300 was bogged in middle of track
@@troyhansen7749 the first 3 or 4 cars stopped before that got bogged.
@@geofrigden3388 i didnt see the np300 drive in the vid
@@geofrigden3388 sorry can you show me time stamp? I cant find it
@@troyhansen7749 they don't show you until its bogged so that's why I asked the question, why stop on the track when they should have gone to the other end and stopped the Southbound traffic
Oh man. I was really liking that Iveco, until he drove into the bogged car. 🤦♂
Luckily it looks like he didn't do any serious damage to the ute's canopy.
I wanted to make some savage comment about how silly these blokes are but, I remembered how every time I take my ute over I wanted to get bogged there but yet to achieve this. Have fun boys! That's what fraser is all about
2002 Mitsubishi Challenger with half worn HTs @15psi. Second gear 4H and I floated through (had not rained in nearly 5 months). What’s going on here??
Did that iveco truck actually hit the navara
Afterthought.... does having a couple of extra cylinders mean you can’t carry maxx trax?
these guys are an embarrassment to all 4WDrivers
people like you are what ruin the community and are the true embarrassment. How bout instead of shaming them for making mistakes and learning from them, to actually be a good person and teach them so they can help more people. When they make mistakes. All you are doing right now is destroying the continuity of the community
Lol
