    Yup 10 psi would make a smooth trouble free run even when towing a small boat. Might go as high as 15. I don't see any of these cars ballooning their tyres, hence most are just wasting everyone's time with high pressures. Momentum is the next big sucker needed to get through successfully. Unfortunately Massive amounts of power never overcomes the root cause of bogging in sand. I just don't get it - but is sort of fun to watch!!!! I am simply mind blown by the folk who are there ready to help on the track and put in support for the folk running through. WELL DONE Champs 😁😁😁

    Problem is, go through using 4H and not low enough tyre pressure.
    To get through, put your tyre pressure to between 15 - 10 PSI. Begin in 4L starting 2nd gear and smash it into 3rd when your revs are high (auto is better, manual quick shift) all the way through ngkala. Only way to get through!
    If not, maxtrax back then smash it maxtraxing forward.

    i just dont get why people gas it so hard their wheels spin just tone it down and you roll, guys with enough power and wheel spin and still make it but you see 1hz troopys just idle through its fairly obvious its just about good even torque and not violent HP that makes your tyres dig.

    • @andrewsnow7386
      @andrewsnow7386 4 года назад +2

      Yep, I think that's even a bigger problem in deep snow where I do most of my wheeling. Usually, but not always, very slow speed (combined, of course, with very low tyre pressure) will get you further in deep snow than giving it a lot of power. Even after I have pulled some people out multiple times and suggested they use a lot less throttle, they will drive a short distance, feel the vehicle start to bog a bit, and stomp on the "go" pedal (which is really the get stuck pedal in these situations). It seems to be a hard thing to train people away from standing on the gas anytime the vehicle slows.

      I am amazed at all the bogans who just stand around all day watching people get bogged! Same for those standing at the top of
      Big Red in the Simpson. There would not be a lot of IQ running around in their heads. Life begins when you get one.
