The easiest and best way in the sand is to make the (tire pressure PSi) 15PSI, and the car will run easily and without damage to the engine and gearbox, in the long run.
I have been to Fraser Island 4 times. I have never been bogged. 90 % of the time I drove only rear wheels. I guess deflating the tyres and travelling light helps a lot when it comes to sand.
The whole beach is salt, and if you're on Fraser you're going to be throwing Salted sand all over your car for a week. Feel the paint, it will have salt-crystals - windows covered in salt-spray - the whole underside will be covered in salted sand - on top of the battery, on the air-box - anywhere. In Short, don't worry about the surf, and realise you can't avoid it on Fraser, there are many rocks to drive-around that have impractical tracks. A lot of people from cold countries worry about the surf because they have rust experience from Salted Roads - but those same people don't wash the underside of their Cars in Winter - months of stuck salt. The underbody-car-wash at Rainbow Beach blasts all the salt off.
@@Peter57808 the problem is is that they don't care when go to sell the for way more than it's worth by saying never been near salt little a lone in it
Depends on the car Patrols and landcruisers have helical cut reverse gears. I've never heard of any of them blowing reverse from snatching. I dragged a 20 000 litre water tank with a snatch in my patrol. Slammed the fucker a few dozen times. Bent my bullbar and partially tore part of the chassis but the gearbox was fine. The diffs can sometimes blow though.
that poor Ford driver at12.16, learn about your vehicle!! clueless!! i know we all have to learn about sand driving, but learn somewhere easier than Fraser Island first?
Fraser is easy lol. First time sand driving for me was there with a broken gu with fuel problems, barely had 50% engine power and didn't have any issues.
@@SpencerHHO just came back from Fraser, only got as far as Eli Ck, but had no problems on beach or inland tracks in JK Wrangler, 15psi, floated across the sand. hope to get to Ngala oneday.
I live near South Padre Island. We may not have as heavy a sand as this but it can get hairy at tymes. And I've picked up a good Australian accent watching you all and Shauno n Graham. Lol.

Why rename? If any of the "original owners" are "Fair Dinkum honest" they should obviously first change and use their own "Black Names" instead of brandishing their "Culturally Expropriated" English names! But nope, instead they rather see everyone else being forced to see a change to their traditional and beautiful sounding name for this great sand island, Fraser Island! Go figure.... I speak the truth and I say that like Fraser Island, there are no other true names, only fantasies and modern P.C. fabrications. How could they? We all know that even today many traditional "bush babies" do not know their fathers name or have birth certificates because their mothers didn't register them. Sadly this "renaming" i.e. Orwellian "new-speak" is a shameless lie. Don't be stupid, the "new" sand island name (I will not speak), is a modern political fabrication that has never been known or used. No documentation, no verification or historic facts are provided because there are none. It is another "Black Emu fabrication" made up for populist political P.C. reasons. Fraser Island is the only known good name of this great sand island and should remain so in memory of shipwrecked Eliza Anne Fraser who survived brutal enslavement and had her compatriots savagely slaughtered by the Badtjalas who speared her husband in front of her. Let's be honest... Thy name is "Fraser Island" christened in James Fraser's own blood on the sand. Do not forget!
The girl with the blue snatch strap was the highlight of this video.
🤣🤣🤣

Zoom could have been better.
Fortunately there are more of us here 😂😂😂😂
My thoughts exactly 🤣
The highlight of this video is from 2.10 to 2.40...
you're welcome
100% plus the clowns in the rangers that make this entertaining to watch
YES, Its always good to have a CRACK at Ngkala Rocks, one way or another?
Great camera work to keep zoomed in on the action
Cracking vid lol
Not all heroes wear capes
It was so good to watch them girls jumping in and pushing, should be more of that 🤪
If the Wallabies had those girls on the team they might beat the All Blacks!!!
The arse on them. Oh my Lord 🙏
2:07 this will get it unstuck for sure!
nice shelia action
See the " Hard Tire 4x4 club " on their day out again trying to change the laws of physics.
Those girls deserve a beer.
Wondering where all the Triton are..then remembered you only film the trucks that get bogged
Those boys going through salt water are just trying to clean the chassis nothing wrong here
Zoom in a bit more next time👌
I agree,, need to find out what brand the shiela was using 👀

solid action, old mate in the prado deserves a tshirt!

The Isuzu made it look so easy... Kkkk
They drove through salt water like it was a river 😫🤦♂️
I felt sick in the stomach I had to look away

What great girls, just happy to jump in and push. Well done girls.
Ford ranger guy need to turn the damn traction control off
Best video yet fellas. Hands down.
wow thats awesome
18:07 this is just crazy!!
That 2 tone GQ 🥵
A total flog.
Another awesome video - hope those guys driving in the sea found somewhere to rinse of the chassis
Go the girls
Muy buen video, hermoso lugar, me encanta la arena, acá tenemos un desierto de arena, saludos desde Mendoza Argentina !!!!
Im enjoying watching these girls push the cars
So painful to watch some of these guys🤣😂🤣😂
Some of these were painful to watch.
Pressures and speed/momentum does it!
Bing bong! Love some snatch work! More usefull than a ranger.
Do you guy's go and fluff the sand up before filming? That just looks like powder.
I think the cameraman needs to learn the zoom function!!!!😝🍑👍
18:25 that’s a full chassis rinse , cbf that.
Don’t forget the fish oil 🤙
Would like to know the pressures they are running in their tyres?
Hilux at 6:05 said he was on 13
Ranger was also on 13 at 14:20
Girls love having a go that’s what we like to see 👍🏼
Snatching in reverse?? Your flirting with danger there. Reverse gear is the weakest gear in a gearbox guy!!!
Thank You Russell, I didn't know that.

The BEST video yet! Lots of pushing and moaning!!!!
Snatching in reverse 🤦♂️rip transmission
Those Ford Ranger guys should have just turned around and gone home and the blokes driving through the surf WTF
Doesn't the Prado have crawl control? And the tyres were full of air, they should have lowered the psi
🚙🚙🚙😍
I wish Ozzy Man would review this.
Does a Snatchstrap come with instructions?
Old school SR luxxy pisses it in. Prob been towing out disco’s and rangas all day.
omg such a fitness 😃👍
You would think the people who do this trip would be better equipped. They have no idea how to drive off road.
Best place to see idiots with no idea, it's so accessible. Not many idiots deep in the bush, they don't make it that far

Really smart? Even relatively stupid people can drive sand if they use their brain.
moral or the video. people are strong together
There was only 1 that smashed it and thats cause it was a patrol.
P.s the g banga was marvellous
Maybe those people driving in the water know a fresh water spot nearby they are heading to to wash some of the water off
