The origins of CATS is just as chaotic as it’s plot and I think it’s very fitting.
They left out one thing. The lady who taught the ballet for the musical, from what my ballet teacher has told me, was not very well known, but she disappeared for _YEARS_ and then one day just came back and somehow ended up directing the dancing for Cats.
I mean the fact that they did cocaine while righting the script makes so much since
I’m pretty sure that the music was made before the musical and they added the storyline about cats. (They added the ‘jellicle cats’ after a poem by Elliot)

I'm writing a book and I have a reverse redemption arc. One of the 3 main characters who started off as a hopeful and kind and good person (robot) slowly goes more and more mad with power. His arc is basically: good person with morals, to revolutionary fighting for the freedom of all robots, to brutalistic warrior who fights for robot supremacy, to straight up war criminal and gangster who kills without hesitation, to genocidal maniac, and only at his death does he apologise to one of the few people he saw as an ally in the beginning. His story ends with the line "is this the end, beautiful friend?" (The cyborg woman he's talking to is actually the one who ended up having to kill him in order to end his reign of terror and brutality)
Yeah, not relevant to the vid, but it got me thinking of my character's redemption in reverse
I saw the video title and my fight response triggered so hard I plummeted as far as physically possible into my bed and dislodged to wooden beam support system
I’m gonna think about that last one for a while
