When I was a kid my uncle had season tickets for the Jets. He took me to a game against the Dolphins. The jets were getting blown out and it was a school night. My uncle wanted to bring me home but it was my first game so I wanted to stay. The Jets end up tying the game and winning in OT. The Monday night miracle made me a Jets fan for life. I said this team is special. It’s been nothing but heartache and pain ever since.
@@camakaze1330 I ran a poll and 80s won the vote over 2010s, so I'm currently working on an 80s video. After that, we'll have another vote between 2010s and 70s! I'm assuming 2010s will be the favorite with how close the previous vote was.
I've watched this and the 90s video dozens of times. What I think is the most underrated part of this series is how Chase uses amazing and iconic still photos to tell a story instead of using game highlights straight through. Awesome work man!
The 1999-01 seasons saw a generational shift in the NFL. The Rams and Patriots came out of nowhere. Heck, Baltimore too. The best part about the 2000s NFL was watching all the first time Super Bowl appearances for so many teams.
It’s insane to me that I became an NFL fan in 2004. It is now 2024 and when I think about the fact I’ve been a fan of something this long is wild and it does not feel like it’s been 20 years. Here’s hoping the next 20 years is even better and that my team gets some Super Bowl wins in!

8:26 I found this so funny when you said "They opted for an upgrade at quarterback." I was like "Elvis who? Dilfer surely was better than him even though he wasn't that good of a QB himself." Then I read his stats the year before, and I was like "Oh wow I can understand the Ravens thought process he actually was sorta good." LOL
Some parts of the vid are great but like I don’t like how the first mention of the bears is them being undefeated. Left like a lot was missing but it’s ok, the bears season was such an anomaly it’s worth going in depth on, great video tho I loved it over all.

Super Bowl XXXVIII is a forgotten classic. It really speaks to just how good the supr Bowl is year after year. An, I was 16 before I saw a good Super Bowl. SBXXXII. They went from being the worst game of the year every year (even close score games to so good that you can count the bad ones the last 25-27 years on one hand. Super Bowl XXXII will always be my favorite one. Not the best game by any means. At the time it was a top 3-4 and one of the biggest upsets at the time too. The 1996 to 2019 was a great era to witness. All the first time SB appearances and wins. Heck there’s only four teams that haven’t been in one yet. And every NFC team except Detroit played in at least one.
Jim Mora’s “Playoffs?” rant was pretty good. But my favorite was a presser after a loss in New Orleans. The “diddley poo” interview. Not sure exactly when that happened. Between 1995 to 1998. The older I get the more I like Jim Mora. At the time I just thought he was a crazy old man.
