    Hi Al....I don't like to be a nuisance with comments, but your vids are the first thing I turn to in the morning. I grew up on a farm and miss many of those aspects. Seeing your routine and family interacton is both calming and relaxing...and makes the day better. Bravo, Zulu.

    Love your channel! Noticed you love cooking with garlic like our family. Because of that we prep our garlic in bulk. We peel and run it through a food processor then put them into 16oz freezer safe glass containers and freeze them. They keep well in the freezer. We keep one in the fridge for our daily use and pull another container from the freezer to thaw and keep in the fridge when we run low. Really efficient for us garlic lovers.

    • @GirlofNow
      @GirlofNow 5 лет назад

      Btw try peeling garlic the Martha Stewart way with two bowls or in a closed mason jar. Easiest way to peel a bunch of garlic at a time.

    Thanks Lumnahs on another interesting video. I usually refer to the interaction between family members as family dynamics. It's the same with animals. Your goats dynamics are neat to watch. Have to teach even the goats to be nice. I watch each day with anticipation for the homesteader dynamics and your management skills as you, Gina and Olivia work to improve your future. Blessings...☝🖐

    Al I not only like your channel; I love the way you do things. What you are doing now many people did in the late 40's and early 50's. We did not have goats just chickens (2,000) pigs (6) Jersey Cow (1) Horse (1) 200 tillable acres. We grew Strawberries Corn, Okra, bell Peppers Tomatoes. two neighbors had goats, 1 had one as a pet. She had to be rehomed when she used the brand new 57 Chevy Belair for a mountain Another had milk 4 goats. They were fed corn stalks in the winter. Many people in my family would also Fish and Hunt. Hunting was so prevalent during the Depression it was necessary to import deer after WW II! iN the summer crabs bushels and bushels of them sold for $2.50 tp $6! fish of all kinds .10 cents a pound. Folks got by. Even then it was a great life. Amazingly you are living my memories!

The price of avacados has already doubled. They both and most of the off season fresh fruit will get expensive if the border is closed.
