Gina, you are doing a good job cuddling the babies! When my daughter was in nursing school and later as a floor nurse, she had to spend time holding the newborns in the nursery! She said her arms would get sooooo tired! It was such hard work holding the sweet babies! This is like you! Soo very sweet! Love to all of you! Gramma Sandy!

It must be the season of plenty. We have had three sets of triplets and a set of twins out of 4 ewes this year. Two of the triplet sets were born at the same time! I did a video about them too. Congrats on a lovely new family of goats.

On another note, being an ex-New Yawker, when you open the door in the morning it looks like the subway under 5th Ave. All those chickens (commuters) trying to get off the train, when the night shift (ducks) are trying to get on the train for home.😂😂😂😂😂

Just remember that a goat only has 2 teats. Keep an eye out to see which baby is not getting enough/any food.
Our Nigerian dwarf mommas do just fine raising three babies anything over that you do have to watch the babies very closely. We had one momma goat that had 5 babies and we did supplement one of them with a bottle twice a day and she did nurse from her momma as well.
They always seem to get in for the milk. I've only one triplet out of about 8 sets in the past 6 years that the mom refused him, But he grew up just fine on whole cow's milk.

doggiemommi22 Goats milk is generally alot harder to come by vs cows milk for supplemental/bottle feeding.
U like the one..the other one is eating constantly..the little one seems 2 be on its own..poor runt(
It's not unusual for goats to go a day early for each kid she's carrying. They are wonderful. They are small but behave healthy. I love Hope's acceptance of new kids on the block. Your homestead is growing with blessings.

Your videos relax and calm me and my anxiety and depression. We're the same age and I wished I wasn't chronically and autoimmune sick I'd love to have some chickens pigs and goats. I have to say the ducks crack me up. They stay out all night; they come over to meet you; they follow you to NYC and start up the ramp as soon as you let it down. Then they try to enter as soon as you raise the door, but they can't because the chickens have been cooped up and not only can't but won't wait to rush out. Then just as the traffic eases up a bit and the ducks start to make headway you start broadcasting the feed and they turn around and join the feeding frenzy. Do they ever make it inside? The next day the whole process is repeated.

Great to see Willow do it on her own. Maybe no stress from over protective humans helped ! Your herd has now nearly doubled in size. For names you could continue your flowers/trees names. A few suggestions: Hazel, Daisy, Rosie, Fleur {a nod to your French Canadian roots). I hope they are all does and not sure about a good name for a buck. All these kids should be great for your viewing numbers.
Got some names for you,, the white one you could call snowball ,, the one that
Gina has in her arms could be cuddles ,, and the black one could be name shadow or smoky
I wouldn't be too happy being around a goat named snowball. There's a story of a man who had a goat named snowball. That goat bucked him off a patio and killed him. Yikes!

The kid with the awesome markings has markings that look like a part of Van Gogh's A Starry Night. You could name them after his paintings, Starry Night, Iris and Sunflower.
They littles are so cute, on their feet and so aware. I’m used to watching kitty sites and their babies take a couple weeks plus to open their eyes and explore a little. Congratulations!

BEAUTIFUL baby goats! You got a sweet set of kids there. All so pretty! I'm having a hard time deciding which one is my favorite.
Thirteen years ago when we still had our farm, we had two pigs we had raised from piglets about your size. They were a few weeks away from harvest because they each weighed about 500 lbs. When one of our chickens got loose she hopped the fence into the pigs pen and in seconds they had torn her in two and I have seared into my memory the sight of her loops of bowel stretched between the halves of her body.
We had five kids and moved the harvest up to three days after that display of violence. It was truly frightening. So was harvest day, but that's a different story.💜💜💜
