How to Set Up an IRA Trust
Are you looking to invest your retirement funds in alternative assets? With Broad Financial’s Self-Directed IRA Trust, you have the freedom to invest in just about any asset with the power of checkbook control at your fingertips!
You may be wondering, what is checkbook control? Checkbook control allows you to invest directly in alternative assets without the need for a custodian for everyday transactions. Broad’s IRA Trust puts you in direct control of your investment.
It’s easier than you think to set up an IRA Trust with Broad Financial. So how do you do it?
You can have your own IRA Trust in just 4 simple steps:
    - First, you’ll complete Broad Financial’s easy online application. Simultaneously, you’ll open a new Self-Directed IRA with our sister company, Madison Trust. To fund your Self-Directed IRA you’ll transfer or rollover funds from a previous retirement account, such as an IRA or 401(k), or make an initial contribution.
    - Next, Broad Financial will create a specialized, IRS-compliant Trust for your IRA and take care of the paperwork. Broad uses Madison Trust’s EIN (Employer Identification Number) for setting up the trust, which ensures you won’t need to file a tax return for your Trust.
    - Once your specialized Trust is created, you will open a checking account in the name of your Trust at the bank of your choice and instruct Madison Trust to send your IRA funds directly to your Trust checking account.
    - Finally, you can start investing with the power of checkbook control by simply writing a check or sending a wire from your new Trust checking account.
That's it! In as little as a 1 to 2-week turnaround time, you’ll have an IRA Trust with checkbook control.
If you’re new to alternative investing, we’ve got you covered. One of our Self-Directed Specialists will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Today's the day to gain control of your retirement investment ideas with Broad’s IRA Trust!
