    I have put clutches in years ago. Always fun finding I was given wrong parts or needed something else. I learned to do it by myself as help wasn't reliable. Good video.

    You are the MAN. Crazy what you do and the weather you do it in. I've done maybe 10 clutches on my back, the last two on a Mitsubishi Lancer 2.4 due to my daughters poor habits. I've only done one at work in the last 5 years (with a hoist/lift) that one in a Hyundai. Not too many clutch cars left in Los Angeles, I hope to never to do one on the floor again!

    Dear Kevin great job again. I want to advise you to use professional jack stands with flat surfaces. I don't trust those yellow things. Just advise, it's for your own safety...

    • @2Skills4u
      @2Skills4u 2 года назад +3

      What do you mean with flat surfaces? Those are flat, or look flat anyways. Only 2 types of jackstands I'm aware about, the ones in the video and the V shaped ones for the sills

    • @maxthecaddy8451
      @maxthecaddy8451 2 года назад +2

      those yellow stands are about 1.5 tons per stand so 6 tons in all, plenty of stability for any car and light commercial vans and much safer than the ratchet type ones

    Sealey do a stupidly cheap "3.5 ton SUV" jack for peanuts - it's light, lifts fast, isn't annoying & will lift anything I've yet encountered without you having to bend the handle/your arm. Dunno why - but it sprang to mind.

    Can I have one big kindly ask request for you because I learn a lot from you. Could you sometimes, in "behind the scene" or other episodes, show a short shot with the camera where you put the floor jack when it is in other places than the standard places for jack stand. Stringer, side member, floor etc. ? It will make my hobby work easier because I often think about it, and sometimes I'm afraid to put the floor jack in strange places :) Regards from Poland.
