Looks like a nice day of snook fishing in Jax! Not something you see every day. Great tip on the bigger lure so you can cast it further. I think the water disturbance issue is also a great testimony to the popularity of kayak fishing because you can be so stealthy in a yak!
Thanks man I appreciate the comment!! And absolutely a yak is definitely the ideal way to fish in all of these area’s!! Would be a lot easier to cast under the docks and stuff 2!
salty moon fishing for sure! I’m hoping to get down there in July/August depending on Covid, and I’m really looking forward to getting my kayak out there!
The Fishing Family yea man do it! I’ll do my best to point you in the right direction and maybe we can fish together if it all works out. Also if you don’t follow “slot city fishing” and “get out the house go fish” I’d go check them out, they are both local yak fisherman that make killer videos!!!
salty moon fishing thanks a million! I do follow both of them already! Seems like y’all have a really solid community of anglers there. I’ll let you know if and when I make it to FL & hope we might be able to meet up!
I believe your 1st at jax snook fishing, luv your videos, but base from your launch, thru Matthew, heart and downtown im narrowing down your spots brother, plus those back docks are landmarks too😁
I would recommend putting out a live mullet or green back for the bigger ones or live shrimp for a shot at any of them. Snook love cover to I would keep your bait near the docks to increase your chances. Hard to say how much of a shot you will have at finding them, depends on where you are exactly. Snook usually will be found in the brackish water area’s, very back ends of creeks, especially the ones that open up to small Estuary lakes in the back with slow moving water. But they definitely have to come through at some point so it’s definitely possible to find one here and there pretty much anywhere in the river or Intercoastal
Hey I live in Jax beach, you talked to my cousins Gino, josh, and Kobe, anytime your ready to go fishing man let me know, I’m more than happy to pay for gas and lures.
That was a really good snook trip for Jax! Your spots are gonna get very crowded...
Thanks man I appreciate that!!! And yea unfortunately, hoping most people won’t know all of the spots 😂

Fun fishing day 👍
Definitely man!!!! I really appreciate the comment!!
Sounds like your drag could've been a bit tighter. That would've allowed for a better hook set. Great vid tho. Was dope!

Not the first to snook fish in jax just the first to post a video with all the spots 🤣
Awesome video I fish a little south of Jacksonville.
Bad ass man! I’m going to go try that first spot soon
Thanks man!!!! There are definitely a lot in there. Now I just gotta find the big ones!!!
When are the trouts coming in ?
Great job. I here if you you take that plastic off your rod the cork grip actually helps you land more fish. lol
Hahaha thanks man, I’m definitely gonna have to give that a go I lost wayyy to many!!!
That's what i've been seeing of those Vudu shrimp..... seems Snook especially can get off them... seen several other videos showing that.
I’m over at sisters creek, stuck on a dock. No mobility, what would you recommend for bait fishing in some snook, deep in the creek?
