Having watched White Christmas (1954) dozens and dozens of times over the decades I see this sequence "Snow" as the movie's nexus. Bing Crosby's "Bob Wallace" commits to going to Vermont and the trajectory of the rest of this classic is set.
Even well after Christmas and the Christmas Season I'll watch this movie anytime it snows; just like it's doing now on February 13, 2022. One year, 2018, it snowed in early April (the 2nd of April) and I put on a pot of coffee in the hour or so before the sun rose and we watched White Christmas as snow was falling outside.

Danny Kaye was an amazing untrained, natural talent who learned his skills by working his way up the Borscht belt. My musically ignorant presumption, is that especially since this song is a four part harmony, the singer's vocal tone and range fit well with Rosemary's. In any case, this song is the one I most look forward to in the movie.

It's a major 6th chord. The vocal harmonization in the intro, beginning with Bing, is G --> A --> C --> E into the G6 chord, which I believe is voiced, top to bottom, as GEDG. If you're interested in this type of harmony, and the arranging techniques used to produce it, you can check out Berklee's book, Modern Jazz Voicings by Ted Pease.
