Alex Taylor Recreates the Isky Ford T Roadster - SEMA 2023

Alex Taylor and her dad, Dennis, tell the story of how they recently recreated Ed Iskenderian’s famed T Roadster, built in 1938. The original car was crafted with loads of unique parts, making it a challenge to reproduce. But probably the hardest part of all was the engine - Iskenderian had topped his car’s Ford flathead V8 with ultra-rare cylinder heads that are now completely unobtainable. To solve the problem, Alex and Dennis asked Ed, who’s now 102 years old. He said to use, “Whatever’s the latest and greatest.” So, with the help of Holley, they powered the new version of his car with a Ford Godzilla V8 that has just the right vintage look.
