again,,,, simple and amazing.... In Portugal we do with codfish but without ths souce and only with flour and egg. It call's in Portuguese "pastel de bacalhau". You've got to try it!! :)
You know... when it comes to seafood streetfood like no matter if it's crab, shrimps or salmon it's always full of flavor and this recipe is again perfect, dear FoodBusker. I would definitely pay at least 6.50
Been watching more and more of Food Busker's videos as of recent and I have to say, Food Busker is really underrated. The shit he pulls off in such a short time and a cramped space is pretty wicked and you can definitely tell it's like second nature to him. I would really like to know what John's culinary background is...?
Haha the Intro. You are awesome man. And as always deliciousness. I can just taste it from watching .. ugh. And i'd pay 1.50 per Tater + 1 for the sauce/dip nomm!
Love your videos man keep it up, but what I think it would be nice if you were to put the ingredients in the description below, that would be very helpful !!! But apart from that I love absolutely everything in your videos!
Once again a killer recipe. Really nicely done. Though at 4.50 I would guess you exceed a thirty percent food cost. Please, keep sharing these delicious video's. Blessings ChefMike.
I would really love to make this. However, could I substitute the crab with another form of fish like shrimp or salmon? I only ask because you can't just buy crab meat here you gotta get the whole bloody crab and work from there.
For a starter, I think a £5 for 2 would be more appropriate because they are quite a mouthful. but £7.50-£8.00 for three as a table side easily. At least here in the West of Scotland where seafood is really common. I can imagine something like that running someones wallet wild in London.
Ou wow, I made some to taste it because i never ate crab meat before but I must say they are just AMAZING, also that dip for those bad boys is simply amazing aswell. I would pay something around £8.95 because they are just worth it, such a good meal :)
I just realized, and I know it is all fun and games in the first place, but it is surprising how some foods can be overpriced as to get a mega-profit out of them just because they sound fancy. At the same time, I also thought how depending on which income class you are in, you'd be willing to pay different amounts. There are too many variables. Anyways, cheers John! A great and amazing simple recipe once again.
Magnak Well Restaurants have alot of costs aswell for personal and the location + most restaurants dont even make big profit with the Food. Most profit is made with drinks. In fact high class restaurant even make minus with some courses just the see how people are responding to certain ingredients.
Sanerah Thank you for the information, but I was really just talking about the general "street" food type of ordeal. Not really talking about restaurants. Although, how do you know about how restaurants work, if I may ask. Just curious to know your sources. Also, the minus you spoke of just sounds like a different type of marketing strategy. Just like having "Menu of the day" where they hint a certain meal instead of others.
They look great. Around AUS$12 I'd pay. I'd cook these for lunch tomorrow, but promised DJ BBQ I'd cook his great lookin Meat Ball Sub. Would next weekend be OK?
Great, thanks for sharing. Quite hard to rate those prices. Over here in Germany, literally no one would pay the prices i've seen in your other videos. We're quite used to get a lot of crappy food on the street, if even available. Everything must be cheap over here and that is causing low quality products even at the grocery stores. Keep up the good work, all the love from Germany.
Give yourself a challenge will Ya, go looking for old grumpy men around it will make these videos more exciting Girls always over pay Love your vids though
£4.50! Your'e nuts! That's worth way more!
