Dude, seriously. I get that those braids look better and make for a better picture, but it makes it completely irrelevant for someone who just wants to throw their hair into a braid and have it look decent
I’m 62 but still love having long hair. I do archery and my hair needs to be securely out of the way. I love these new braid ideas! So creative yet simple ❤
@ ylva - me, too! I don't do archery, but I am active outside and usually just put my hair in a tried-and-true pony tail. I love these different ways to do a secure, beautiful braid! Sometimes I do just love the lazy braid, tho ;o)
I actually think the droopy braid looks quite good (just has that natural feel to it). But I also quite liked the other braids you showed. I really aprreciate the effort you always put into your videos. 🥰🥰🥰
I like the droopy braid too! Wouldn’t be ideal though for certain occasions, weather, outfit, etc…. a lot of factors 😂❤ but I’m def a loose braid fan!!
Your makeup is so pretty in this video and I really appreciate you explaining each step out loud. It can be really hard to follow a tutorial sometimes by only watching it.
You’re a godsend! It takes a certain kind of talent to find a way to improve upon the tried and true, and demonstrate it in a way that anyone can learn. Thank you!
Oh my gosh thank you for this! I've got pretty long hair and my braids (unless started from a regular pony tail) have always looked just like your first one. ok enough though they can get undone and messy pretty quick, but I thought that's just how life is lol. This looks so put together and is actually doable even for me-yay!
The 1st one is nice but it can get pretty messy as it continues to loosen throughout the day! I hope this hack will help you! Thank you for watching and for the comment!💗
Omg, actually EASY hair do hack! Both ways were super easy and quick to do, even for me, who is terribly bad at doing my hair. Thank you for this video! 😍
Finally a hair hack on braiding that I can follow! Thank you for talking and braiding at a reasonable pace for a student! I did like the second one better. Although you are absolutely right that the first one is more distinctive with the crossover of the side sections, making it look more unique.
As someone with intensely thick & unruly Scottish hair that never holds a braid for an hour-this is GREATLY appreciated! Subbed! Also, you have amazing eyes & I love your makeup look you did for this.
Very helpful. Thanks so much. My 8 year old one will love it. She's got such long hair and always a braid. Every day. This will help her so much. And so easy. Yes 🙌
Another great video. Thankyou. They both look great but for me will also have the added benefit of keeping the weight of hair off my neck making it cooler in the hot weather. Hi from Australia!
Honestly, I really like the droopy braid cause it adds some texture and sometimes loose hair gives like a relaxing vibe but, I do like the ones you showed because if you want a more clean looking braid those are better then a droopy braids!! But, thank you for the time you put into this video!!! I love your videos so much there very helpful thank you 💗😊🤍
Agreed! I like the droopy braid too, especially with some curled front pieces... CUTE! But definitely a time and place for both hairstyles! Thank you for watching. I appreciate you!
ahhhh I love the droopy braid... I call it my Elden Lord braid (you play Elden Ring you get it) ... comfy to wear, does not pull on the head and just looks really awesome maybe cause my hair is soooo much longer but the droopy is the most comfy braid to wear if I wanted a braid tight to my head would do a french or inverted french but I do not ... love mine lose and comfy
Cute! Love it. Will definitely try. Thank you! Braids are so great. They prevent frizz and/or tangles in my long hair and now I can do them better thanks to this video.
As a man i am so in love with long hair and would like to learn howv to make awesome braids and all kind of other hair styles, i find your channel verry informative and fun to watch. Now i can practice on my wife and sister 😃😃. Oh if i may give you a compliment....your channel is totally wicked and you have such beautiful hair 😍.
Love this!!! I was holding my breath when you were curling the baby hairs at the nape of your neck. I ALWAYS BURN MYSELF at that point. Ugh. Working in dental, a SECURE braid is ideal ❤ thank you
I've never had a female role model to teach me anything so these videos are incredibly useful. I'm 30 and I've just started to learn how to do a basic pony tail. Thank you for your content!
I love both these braids and appreciate your more detailed video, thankyou. Im not surprised this went viral, I havent got the patience to faff about with my hair for too long, for me 5 mins, 10 mins max is most of the time I want to spend on my hair. Most of the time I end up giving up on new hair styles because there are just too many hand and shoulder gymnastics going on, and that, and the tangles and fails in getting the parting tidy looking just frustrate me. I end up giving in because I just havent got the time or energy. I saw you posted the first braid up a few weeks ago here on youtube, I instantly went and tried it and loved it, but even though I watched it in slow mo, I didnt realise you had crossed it over before braiding, it still worked but it look even nice now. Im going to try the second one too, although from my experience, having extra long thick hair, pulling the hair through the loop can be tricky. To section long thick hair more easily, heres a trick that helped me. If you are finding it difficult to separate the the sections and ponytail the middle part without tangles, I first put my middle section up in a french barrette with no teeth ( its a common hair clip you probably already have, just google it ). It helped me pre section before doing the middle ponytail, I then just unclipped it and slipped it out gently when I was done platting. It also looks nice left in, thats how I used to do my long floppy braid hair style....before I recieved this new one! Thanks again, and well done on this simple elegant braid, lovely.
Thank your so much for this, I have very long hair that doesn´t want to stay in place and I work at the ER with lots of nasty fluids everywhere which I don't want in my hair so this will be so helpful!
Oh. My. God. I have been growing my hair out and its finally long enough that I dont have all these hair layers poking out and I can actually do a braid and I have been trying to do this and it has looked awful each time. This is genius im so excited to try it!
Wow how cool! I have fine oily hair and my braids always slide out. I bet this one will hold much better! The second in particular looked really secure. Thanks for sharing ❤
thanks for your easy and clever braid hack. My hair is 118 cm long and many hairstyles don't work because they are heavy and stylish looks (like fancy updos) cause scalp and head pain. Your amazing trick helps me! 🙂
This actually works with my undercut! Thrilled, thank you. Finding slightly different styles to pull back long hair when 3/4ths of my head is shaved is tricky
Wow. Finally I found a simple tutorial that works for my super thick, super heavy hair and makes it looks really nice! Thank you!!! Also, you are so very beautiful.
Both are beautiful, wondering if you answer a question for me. Would you recommend using coconut oil in your hair? Also how to go about using it? Thanks and hope you and your family had a great Thanksgiving.
Hi! Yes I would! I’d use it as a hair mask. Apply it and then wrap your hair in a hot towel to allow your hair cuticle to open. (Or use a blow dryer). I’d let it sit for 30 minutes or so, depending on your hair type then wash ❤
This is a really good tutorial. Thank you for explaining each step and going slowly so it’s not confusing. Depending on how fancy my plans were I might even roll the braid at the nape of my neck, hide the end and secure it with a hair pin or nice comb. My Extra wavy fine but very abundant hair is down to my rear these days and I’ve been thinking of trying out different braids on it.
Hey, Thanks for the tutorial, I'm going to try braiding my hair instantly. Wish me luck 🙃 Oh and yes I'm now officially subscribed to your channel yay 🎉😊
I like the second, I’ll have to watch it a couple times to totally get the twist but think 💭 I’ll see if it works on mine, which is a little shorter than yours so fingers crossed 🤞.
I never braid my hair straight down my back because I always end up with the cursed uneven droopy plait when I manage to finish it. This is so easy! Imma try it now! Thank you.
I really appreciate seeing braids on people who don't have eight pounds of extensions in -- so much more relatable! These braids look beautiful!
SAME!
And yet I have to wear extentions to have as much hair as her.
Dude, seriously. I get that those braids look better and make for a better picture, but it makes it completely irrelevant for someone who just wants to throw their hair into a braid and have it look decent
My hair is so shitty I need them to have a braid thicker than my pinky 🤓🙄
This hairstyle also looked good with just the twist and the loose Pony. It made the pony appear longer as another option
I’m 62 but still love having long hair. I do archery and my hair needs to be securely out of the way. I love these new braid ideas! So creative yet simple ❤

I love the droopy too! just not for all occasions!
