The first hairstyle is a quick twisted headband braid that takes less than 2 minutes to do. The next is a knotted ponytail and then lastly, you know I had to do a casual, wearable updo! I love the braid. I never knew how easy it is.
My mind is blown!!! I didn't think I was going to go for the knotted style at first, but when I saw how it came out, I was so impressed --it's a GORGEOUS style!!! I have long fine hair and have been reluctant to use the clear elastics, but you have inspired me to try them --I will use the razor cutter to remove them and that's going to help so my hair doesn't get damaged. I really love your aesthetic!!!!

I hope 2 and 3 work for you. You might be surprised by the first one! Get some texture spray or dry shampoo and just dirty it up! It will make your braid appear fuller 💗

As an Indian we need to wear our hair in form of a bun on sarees ... and u made the messy bun look so simple , tht I tried atleast 7-8 styles Ina day. And tried perfecting them . I really like 3!! I work in care; my hair always needs to be up and out of my face. This one is great for that!! I always love new updos, I get bored always doing it the same. My hair is a little thinner then yours though... Can you post great updos that stay put during lots of physical work all day, for long (it's about to my bra strap) thinner hair, that's not a braid? I braid it all the time. French, Dutch, fishtail.. also do a lot of messy knots. It gets a little boring after a while. ;) Thanks for the videos you already posted, I got lots of ideas from that and my clients love all the different hair styles I arrive to work with. :)

I know this video is super old...but I have a request. I love your messy bun tutorials, and I ADORE that first hairstyle...do you think they could be combined, and if so could you show ud what that might look like? I'm looking for a cute hairstyle I can wear as a barista and I'm terrible at coming up with my own hairstyles (seriously...I couldn't even do the most basic bun a few months ago lol). I would be so grateful to you! 😊

I’m definitely going to give that a try. I’ve had 5 surgeries inside my spinal cord so I’ll likely have to take a few breaks during my attempts, but I’ll definitely be working on accomplishing it. Thanks again so very much.

This is a nice tutorial. I saw some of your tutorials on instagram. I only have just above shoulder length hair. Do you think I can do some of these hairstyles? I want to let my hair grow but my hair grows super slow.

I love all three! Btw, Lainey, guess what? I was a black cat for Halloween just like I told you and I did your braided ears! Of course wouldn't you know it, there wasn't a single pipe cleaner in Toronto that was black! LOL. So I decided I was gonna be a black cat with white accents ;) I used 2 white pipe cleaners for each braid because my hair is so long, thick and heavy. And guess what else? They actually stood up the whole time!!!
Ah that makes me so happy!! Thanks for sharing! Funny enough, I had to spray paint my pipe cleaners black because I couldn’t black either 😂😂♥️
@@LaineyMarieBeauty No way!!! Black pipe cleaners must be part of the supply chain crisis then! LOL. I also cut out some white felt, drew some black wisps of hair in the middle, then literally hand stitched it with some white thread into my braids. I'll tag you in my Instagram post so you can see! It's quite hilarious.
Love all the hairstyles. You made them so easily, but when I try myself, it takes me forever and the results is not even close to yours. Maybe is my hair texture (super dry)
Cute!!! I let my hair air-dry and it always is kinda curly, like s's all the way down. Even if I use a wide tooth comb to brush it while it's wet, it gets tangles! I DONT6DARE BRUSH IT AFTER IT'S DRY!!! It looks frizzy! Love the styles and am jealous of how silky your hair is!!!! "Just tie it like your shoe"! Uh huh! Right! Not happening with this hair!!! Any suggestions?
Do you use a detangler? I have super tangly hair and that helps mine. I air dry too! I also use an oil every night from the mid shaft of my hair down to my ends. I apply it at night and usually just sleep in a twisted bun. Definitely helps with my frizz!
@@LaineyMarieBeauty Thanks. I do use a leave in conditioning spray. I don't put it in a loose bun or anything as I sleep. It always looks so stringy and I have ALOT of hair. It shouldn't look so stringy. IDK. I end up brushing it and braiding it.
I have wavy/textured hair and using the clear elastics are a nightmare for me. They get so knotted in my hair. Do you have a suggestion what would work better?
Hi! They do make very small hair ties that are not elastics or rubber bands. I'd check out amazon or sallys. They make seamless ones too which are comfy and don't damage your hair!
What heat protectant do you use a how much does it cost?
I use chi heat protectant. I think it’s $16
