watched this 435 times, it's right under my nose, I see your hand and the blocks of hair moving .... but still cannot comprehend how the braids are going down attched to each other, restarted so many times I totally destroyed my wig so much admiration for such skills and precision
I can see the benefit to this method for people who need to take breaks in between sections, this really seems that'll it'll be more fatiguing for your arms, and take so much longer if you're using this method because you think it'll be easier than learning how to braid hair.
I can Dutch and French braid; the benefits of this method? 1, you can secure each section which is handy with different layers. 2, if you are like me; I have nerve damage so I get spasms and loss of dexterity. This saves my place so I don’t have to repeatedly start over. Really clean work.
This is perfect for me so I can take a break in between. My hair is kinda long and my arms are kinda weak. I can never make it through the whole french or dutch braid and it all slides out when I drop my arms. But with this I can take my sweet time and rest my tender noodle arms.
Yeah true again though. I have the same problem. My arms and my hair being super freaking long. It’s pass my butt! Doing any back braids myself for me is a fight! Lol
Same!!! I've been wearing my hair on and off between long and short for most of my life so I don't really have a whole lot of arm strength or really know how to do my hair
I wish your tutorials had been around when my girls were in school! I had to make up my own ways to braid their hair. My personal fave was a prom look on my oldest. It was an upside down French braid with curls at the top of her head. It never failed that however I did their hair ended up being the go-to look for the next formal dance. Lol
I’m a nanny of two beautiful girls who always dress up as princesses and want princess hair. Thank you for this video! I will try this for them 🥹❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Listen for someone who is trying to get out of my comfort zone with zero experience and not a lot of confidence/skill- I’m SO EXCITED TO DO THIS! This is perfect for a many reasons! Thank you for this easy to understand and follow simple yet effective method! THANK YOU!!!!
Thank you so much ! I love the way you explain the step by step. There are other videos of other people and they do it so fast as they show how to but not want to 😅. You really want to show us how to., thank you. I love your videos.
Thank you for this rendition of the braid.. I can try your technique on my dreadlocks- with the rubber band I think it will secure my braid better than actually braiding it.. Good job!
Wow. So many snarky, nasty comments. Okay, for all of you who are shrieking "just learn how to braid!" or "Too many elastics/elastics are bad for your hair!" here's some things to consider : 1. For those of us with dexterity issues - anything from tremors to Parkinson's to stroke to ANY disability that makes intricate braiding techniques difficult or impossible, this actually helps immensely, and it actually SAVES us a TON of time, while still giving us a technique we can use to do something NICE for ourselves or others. 2. Yes, we know elastics are bad for hair, but sometimes you have to choose what to do according to what you can do, rather than just what you know can break hair. 3. If you don't need the technique, don't use it. 4. If you don't like the technique, don't use it. 5. You can express your disagreement without being unnecessarily crass, vulgar, or rude. It is possible. Just because you're typing online doesn't mean you have to be insulting, cruel and nasty to other people. Creators put in a lot of time and effort to make videos like these for people. You don't have to like it, use it, or agree with it, but you really don't need to be hurtful and vulgar in how you express your dislike. Some of you really need a reminder from your mommas about how to treat other people. Sheesh.
I watched this video then realized I have a little tool for my hair that does exactly this without using any bands (it looks like an IUD lol, but its a hair braid accessory that braids your hair super easily) Thank you for reminding me about this little tool
Thanks for sharing this. This would be a great option if you are going out on a special ocassion and really want your braid tight and you hair to look thicker. But, for everyday, it would take too much time. But then again I know how to do french braids and such.
VERY VERY BEAUTIFUL! I have long hair and i know how to braid just not how 2 french braid... this is an amazing up do or a cute everyday style... ty ao much 4 sharing! I cant wait to try it!
I am going to try this! I have a hard time with my hands working correctly! This makes it easier since I can’t hold onto the hair to French or Dutch braid
Must try this by myself, looks simple and beautiful but knowing me I can just imagine after six hours my 1st try , 2nd try and so on, 50th try😂,100th try 💗💙💚🥰😍 Thanks for showing me this wonderful way to do my hair, love the video so beautiful.
I'm an expert braider. I created the "knotless" extensions method that social media popularized (without crediting or compensating me, ofc🙄🙄😩). And the technique for extended braids (unfortunately you now see females recklessly abusing the technique to wear braids that drag on the floor 🤮🤢etc)😅. And you just taught me this 😊 thanks 😏😌 I'm looking for this aesthetic and ease level, despite my expertise and experience 👍 (I enjoy preserving the history of braiding, especially in my Cherokee/indigenous culture. Braiding isn't only from African/Black cultures; & it's important to me to preserve & promote the beauty of the practice that is a hair styling technique used by so many... This technique intrigues me because it's not quite a traditional braid but , then it is weaving the hair together 😅 like an traditional braid method hinges on weaving the strands of hair 🙂😌; & then it gives an amazing end result of a braid... 💖)
Oh my God I just found your video today and I was actually able to do this hairstyle. this is the first video to where I was actually able to do the hairstyle in the video! I got tired near the end so I just finished it off with a braid and the transition looks so cute 😍
It's gorgeous for sure but I don't think this could be done doing it to thier own hair and possibly crooked if they tried but yeah got someone else to do it.all for it.beautiful.xoxoxo
Hi everyone! thank you for watching, like it or not ,im just sharing ideas for those who need it , esp. if you don’t know how to braid yet , and still want to style your hair like a braid . Warning ⚠️ I used more rubber bands , either way you can less yours and do it your own way , still it depends on your preference. No hate just love 💗
I'm so sorry people act so mean in the comments sometimes 😕 😔 I wish we could all show love an support for each other and the world we be such a beautiful place ❤️ 💜 I absolutely loved that pink color hair!!! Wish I could get my pink to come out this beautiful 😍

I genuinely think i have dexterity issues so even though this may take more rubber bands and maybe more time, its easier for my hands to connect to my brain. Thank you
At first I was like “that’s a really long route to an easy braid”, but now I’m thinking that the weight distribution of the layers will make that braid MUCH more difficult to get pulled apart by wind or hair weight. It would probably hold a lot better this way, and get fewer pieces falling out. Not something I’d do on a regular basis since the braids are generally quick, but for a formal event or something outdoors this is pretty handy

I like this technique for a formal updo when you want every strand to stay perfectly in place against humidity and winds ! Lovely pink hair.
This is excellent for people with bad wrists who need frequent breaks whilst braiding their hair. Thank you so much!
I can see the benefit to this method for people who need to take breaks in between sections, this really seems that'll it'll be more fatiguing for your arms, and take so much longer if you're using this method because you think it'll be easier than learning how to braid hair.

Thank you for truly *showing* us how to do it, rather than just *showing off* like so many other creators!! ❤
I know that's right. So annoying.
Yesss!!
Exactly
This is perfect for me so I can take a break in between. My hair is kinda long and my arms are kinda weak. I can never make it through the whole french or dutch braid and it all slides out when I drop my arms. But with this I can take my sweet time and rest my tender noodle arms.
What a sweet comment "tender noodle arms" Hehe, glad you found something that could help!

This is great for people who just don’t get how to Dutch braid (me), which I’m sure are the intended audience.

down here in Texas, we have Viking fest which is just a festival celebration of Germanic culture and a braid like that would be perfect
