That makes sense to see similar roll race results with G series M3/M4s as they are making similar whp on the same dyno. I suspect it's all about advertising - if they advertise M2 is also making 503hp, that will take away a lot M3/M4 buyers into just buying cheaper M2s, lowering their profits.

Same I got my 25 past 1200 I think they just tried to make the numbers a little more accurate probably not much tuning done unless they pulled power out to match the number which I highly doubt
@@EastWood2004 yes. The MY24 has always had the same HP as the MY25 has now. BMW just made it official on paper. (They do this a lot) The engine is exactly the same it’s just a software update. This is assuming one has the automatic. The manual is still less due to the transmission.

Crazy numbers considering it should show less whp since it is 91 and not 93. Because most of 93 g87 dyno at 470whp, so yours with 93 will be 515-520whp
That race actually should be fairly close.. and if the other driver was using paddles or in the wrong modes/gear, that could drastically change the outcome
All the G87's are making a lot more than the claimed factory output. That said, if you watch most of the other G87 dyno videos, most are making around 460-470 at the rear wheel (given or take 5). So at 500 you're definitely the highest. Still impressive though - 470 (average) and a 12% rear wheel loss = 523 at the crank.
I’d consider it if I ordered a car since you also get a track day but eh I don’t really care. I don’t hit the top speed that often since it’s 155. If it was 125 like my Tesla, then yes, I’d be annoyed lol

If someone has one and wants to race, sure. However, those are lighter, more aerodynamic, and make more power on paper. Porsche is no stranger to underrating as well
Wow, at a 12% loss, it's making 569 hp and 511 lb-ft torque at the crank. Steve Dinan uses 16% loss on his cars that he tests. I wonder what your car would do on 100 octane gas. Amazing performance on 91 octane. Just to make it fair when you run against other cars, you may have to switch to 87 octane (wink wink). Great video...thanks.
those are strong numbers. dynoed mine a year ago and got around 484 to the wheels... I really suspect the "increase" in horsepower with this refreshed M2 is just on paper and BMW is just finally admitting the horsepower the g87s originally came with. 460 hp was a flat out lie. would love to see someone dyno their 2025/2026 m2 and see if the numbers are that different.

@t-rex7796 another clueless idiot. The m2 also had good semi slick tires. The roll cage won't give practically any handling bonuses because the rs3 already has a very stiff chassis. It had racing bucket seats also for safety because of the roll cage. If your reaching speeds 300 kmh and pushing the car I'd also want a roll cage. You can option the semi slicks that were used and you can option carbon bucket seats that are very light. The bmw m2 lap time car was measured at 506hp. The bmw had a huge power advantage yet it lost by 5 seconds. Not to mention the 2 extra doors on the rs3
I wouldn’t care if it loses by 20 seconds. This car is a much better sports car for me and I don’t have to mod it for it to beat a stock 10 speed mustang. Got to love dynojet dynos 👍
My mustang made 449 on this same dyno and that sounds about right for catback exhaust and e85 tune
So a factory freak will have more boost pressure or maybe higher flowing heads?
