The Sea of Galilee is one of my most favorite places in the world. Next time I'm in Israel I would like to spend more time there and see more of the Golan Heights.
No reason to be worried about doing anything in Israel. Just be aware of stuff mostly if you're in an area with large Arab population, such as Jerusalem, Jaffa and more. Most of the Arabs are nice but there's the people you don't want to meet in person.

I'm swimming in the Sea of Galilee when i visit Israel one day, might even try to catch a fish, wait do you need a permit, is it legal for tourist to fish there.
We will be traveling to Israel in September. We (my husband and I) would love to meet you! We arrive Sept. 19 and leave Oct. 1. Maybe have lunch or dinner? or coffee/tea?
Thank you Yair. Land in Telaviv, visit Jerusalem, Dead Sea, Sea of Galilee and ? I know there's a lot to see but we didn't want to sign up for a tour and have every hour planned for us. We'll see what else we want to do when we get there.
I'll suggest going to big malls in Tel Aviv named Azrieli Mall Or Dizingoff Center, Walk around Tiberias if you're at the Kineret, most likely if your at jerusalem you would go to Mahn'e Yehuda street market which has allot to offer. if you happend to go by haifa i would visit the Bahians Gardans which is in Hadar Neighborhood, its an amazing thing to see but i wouldn't drive all the time just for this one.
Loving this. It would be cool to see videos of annual festivals in Israel; music (please meet some member from Orphaned Land!), light festivals or food, theatre, and what have you? :-)

Nope! That's the Dead Sea. Due to its extremely high salinity, nothing can live in it (hence the name "Dead Sea"), and you can float in it! 😊
