For the Masterkey and Underbarrel Launchers don't worry too much about the ADS speed. It's really only marginally slower compared to the factory mount. Forgot to say that in the video. Now have a wonderful day everyone. :)
One thing I'd like to say is that from gameplay with friends in private portal modes, and against randoms in normal matches, the smoke grenades deal much more damage in very close range. I haven't tested until what range this changes, but I've killed my friend when he was at full health with a single smoke grenade to the body. Smoke wasn't deployed, but it was an instant death from 100 health, so it acted more like a throwing knife in that regard. Something to further test.
What really gets on my nerves is why don't they just put laser sights and lights on the side rail of the guns because, why not. Rattlesnake light grip should instead reduce first shot recoil kick like in BF4. I found the Vertical grip for Portal weapons to be more useful than most attachments for its vertical recoil control unlike other attachments. But what I really wish for is red dot canted sights which is a really missed potential for people to use other top sights for range option. Just my little rant.
Yeah rattlesnake is an outclassed attachment that the lasers do it’s job at a negligible penalty, the first shot accuracy would be nice especially for the vault weapons that have the older style of gunplay
Side attachment and canted sights would throw the plus system into an existential crisis. EA won't ever allow it, too many dollars already spent on pushing it.
The way I think about accuracy is that bullets aren't fired perfectly straight out from you but rather in a cone. This cone is widest when you move without ADS, then gets smaller with move + ADS, even smaller when static, and finally, smallest when static + ADS. This is regardless of recoil control. I also think that the lasers bonus to recoil is only applied when moving and hipfiring as static + ADS provides better recoil control, or they misnamed Accuracy, but that seems like a weird mistake to make.
I’m not sure about that second part but the first thing you said is how accuracy works in a lot of games, so it likely works like that in this game too
I love using bipods, but it really annoys me that the bipod always returns to a closed position every time you die or switch weapons. None of the other attachments do that, so no idea why it always happens with the bipod. I really hope they change that in a patch.
@@imsupposedtobeasleeprightn9107 In past battlefield games when you'd deploy a bipod on a surface you wouldn't be able to shoot for a solid half second, your screen would violently shake during the animation & it would fix your camera in one direction. It made sense in those games to have an adjustable bipod to avoid situations where you lost a firefight because your character was derping out with the bipod
Thank you Cad. I always chosing between having a grip that benefits from ADS or recoil control. I'm still not sure what is best for me. I do have trouble hitting a barn from the inside though.. Floor included. 😂
Depends on your current playstyle and weapon of course. For snipers, the low rate of fire means that ADS is the better choice. For running and gunning with an SMG, you probably will be happier with recoil control. I usually bring both, and switch between them depending on range of engagement
Finally a good video! Very detailed and a lot of information i missed out! But do you know if enemies can see my laser as well as i do? I saw so many mates with blue lasers, but never enemies so far. I know that some casual games like PUBG have lasers that only you and teammates can see and aren't shown to enemies.
Never noticed the attachment status indicators in the HUD before. You are amazing! What is not so amazing is that to this day, and after multiple past attempts to correct them by the developers, we still can't trust the weapon attachment descriptions.
I assume that each hud element has to be hand adjusted for each attachment, whereas games like cod likely have some system that has the hud read the stats from the guns code in real-time, hence no hud bugs. Seems too late for them to create new hud systems unfortunately
@@stephencoppedge8001 I have a hard time believing it is a huge technological challenge to simply correct the descriptions of weapon attachments in the selection screens.
I find the under barrel he grenade very inconsistent sometimes it just seems to disappear when I shoot it (no APS in sight) and sometimes it’s a 1 shot
Watching this at a very late time so I might have missed it, but could it be that the lasers since they help with hipfire that the recoil control on the ‘heavier lasers’ helps with hipfire recoil? I don’t know if there’s a recoil difference in recoil depending on ads and hipfire, just a thought. Great breakdown though
When aiming, use the Zoom Aim Value. Maybe my settings guide can help you to find the right values: ruclips.net/video/Vy8v2xDxNbc/видео.htmlsi=kIqf648Xpd-gupvR
Someone please give me a call at some point in the future when the descriptions in the game are actually correct. In the meantime, I suppose I'll just have to rely on youtube videos.
Apparently the stnr and mgl laser sights don't improve recoil but do make it so it's more controllable, so it won't have any affect if you aren't trying to control the recoil
@@IsraTheBlackThere is a difference between it decreasing recoil in general and only having an effect when you are controlling the recoil. According to other RUclipsrs the mgl laser sight and stnr laser sights make it so it's easier to control the recoil without actually decreasing the recoil. Which is something you wouldn't be able to tell from just shooting at a wall and not controlling the recoil.
@@Williamwillow_ I've seen other youtubers contradict that with video proof. Honestly I don't think Dice is smart enough to implement such a system. It seems more like a placebo effect. Remember that most attachments since release either didn't do anything or almost didn't do anything and that still applies to today.
@@IsraTheBlackI tested it myself and noticed a slight improvement in the recoil while controlling it on the am40 but it may be a placebo. Feel free to try yourself and see if you get similar results.
The grips & compensators in general are sheer garbage. After extensive testing with the AK24 I looked at recoil and accuracy patterns of each item, from shooting at walls both at a range of 20 meters and 50 meters. I can't see ANY discernable difference between ANY of these attachments, versus factory mounts. If I were to assign a value to these items, I feel that their corresponding bonus would only be like 5%, as in the LWG grip only gives you a 5% accuracy bonus while moving, the Warhawk compensator has a 5% recoil reduction, etc. On pistols the muzzle breaks have next to zero effect on weapon performance as well. Just terrible. You know, attachments in previous BF games used to actually DO SOMETHING for your weapon, not this 5% crap.
Underbarrel HE grenades are very inconsistent and sometimes completely useless. They seem to have minimal explosion distance so if you can't get a direct hit up close, shooting the floor with it will just make the nade bounce away. AP is completely opposite, it's a heavy addition to an anti-tank set-up of Lis with c5. It hits light vehicles hard. Incendiary has no use whatsoever, if you can kill a group of enemies, use gun fire or a basic nade. Incendiary is just an overcomplicated way that provides no reliable results.
I disagree about the incendiary grenade launcher, it provides area denial which is really useful at chokepoints or MCOMs in rush, also for dealing with dozer players since it damages through the shield and means you can have a different throwable equipped plus you get 3 shots instead of one. I think the incendiary and AP launchers are the best, smoke can be good but also can bounce if fired too close to your feet and I agree about the HE it's pretty inconsistent
The game has been out for 2 years and we still have broken in game descriptions and stats for attachments, even a mobile game like cod mobile give you the exact stats for your attachments. This is just unacceptable.
I never saw any point since the game released to use these grips when you can just equip a laser sight and not get any downsides... Who came up with all these stupid downsides lol

exactly, flashlights have been a joke in bf games for a while now, except for maybe bf4 where thermal optics were fucking op & you could blind those fools with a flashlight but even then tanks would just shoot at the bright thing and kill you anyway
